What made Twitter angry? "its all in your head" take 2

I had spoken to a doctor and felt very upset when a knee jerk reaction led to the Tweet. The platform went crazy and truthfully I felt very supported, at the same time upset to learn that I was far from alone in this experience. Reducing Sugar...but I love cake

I discuss the symptoms I have which relate to that of diabetes however I am not a diabetic. I explain what I did and how this impacted symptoms. "Its all in your head"

I wanted to address how physical and mental health/illness go hand in hand therefore both require acknowledging and effectively treating to support holistic health and wellbeing.I discuss my concern that people feel unable to acknowledge any mental health decline for fear their Long Covid symptoms will then be said to be "in your head". The 4th P and Me

I discuss the 4th P how this came about and why this is an important additional P as we continue on this uncertain journey. To exercise or not, that is the question?

Send us a textIn today's episode I talk about exercise, how the current guidance for exercise and Long Covid can cause conflicting advice. Exercise has been a huge part of my life for a long time, so this element of my life has been hugely impacted by Long Covid. Unable to protect my family

Send us a textIn today's podcast, which is episode 10, I can't quite believe the podcast is going into double figures already. I am talking about a very personal angle of the Long Covid journey, the emotional impact contracting covid and subsequently Long Covid has had on my children and husband. I have always felt a sense of guilt that I can not protect them from not only covid19 itself but also the life changing impact Long Covid had and continues to have on my family. I asked my husband and children 5 questions and I am going to share with you some of their thoughts and feelings. It is not only physically but mentally challenging living with Long Covid, and having conversations can be very difficult but is very important. How do you Pace?

I discuss how powering through is my general approach to life however I have learnt on many occasions, this is not possible with Long Covid.
