The Truth about Having It All with Katherine Marr
"I like to focus on the word 'and' instead of 'or' and to come back to debunking society's belief that everything comes at the sacrifice of something else, with the qualification that the 'and' is going to encompass what you want. I don't believe that as humans, parents, moms, we actually want everything ... like doing all the cooking."
In this episode, Andryanna is joined by special guest Katherine Marr. A multi-passioned entrepreneur, Katherine has pivoted and re-routed her journey, both personally and professionally, many times. In this discussion, Andryanna and Katherine look to the notion of "having it all" and how we can all achieve this on our own terms.
Katherine Marr, CA, CPA, is a mom of two; a career professional; a business, mindset and leadership coach; and a Partner in a boutique search firm. She has been in recruiting for 15 years, coaching thousands of candidates and companies as a hiring business partner. Katherine also coaches clients using mindset to help people attract what they want, instead of chasing it.
Katherine explains how intentionally designing our days can have huge impacts and debunks the myth that to have something you want, it must come at the expense of something else. She shares subtle shifts that have helped change her perspectives as a successful women with kids and provides actionable advice for stepping into your power to claim what you want (allowing yourself to let go of what you don't want).

5 Minute Mindfulness with Author Shonda Moralis
"When we're in autopilot, our minds are either in the future or worrying, or what if-ing or running through our to do list. Or we're in the past, or rehashing a conversation or thinking of a memory. And so mindfulness is the opposite of autopilot. So what we're trying to do is pull ourselves out of autopilot on a more regular basis, so we can be awake and aware for our lives".
In this episode, Andryanna is joined by guest expert Shonda Moralis to discuss how and why we should incorporate mindfulness in our daily lives - even if it's just for a few minutes.
Topics that are explored include:
why mindfulness is so important in all aspects of life from personal and parenting to professional benefits;
how we can start this process of being more mindful;
Shonda's 3-pronged approach to mindfulness;
debunking the myth that mindfulness is boring and tedious with insights for simple and quick ways to be mindful everyday.
Shonda Moralis has a Masters in Social Work and is a licensed clinical social worker. She is the author of the award-winning book, Breathe, Mama, Breathe as well as the book, Don’t Forget to Breathe.

How to Find Better Balance by Making Gratitude a Habit
The ability to seek out the good in all situations, feel thankful for what is and look forward to what will be is a SKILL that can take practice and time.
In this episode, Andryanna shares how we can hone in on this skill to make gratitude a habit.
An essential part of her current lifestyle, Andryanna attests that her gratitude practice was the first key shift that took her from burnout to living life with better balance.
This episodes includes scientific evidence to support why the positive mindset shift involved in feeling grateful is so important to our overall wellbeing and includes five quick and easy ways that will make your gratitude practice habitual.
The 5 ways we can make gratitude a habit, and in turn experience the feeling of better balance include:
- Making a note of it
- Get outside
- Take a breather
- Involve your loved ones (including family-friendly ideas)
- Pay it forward
Recognizing the reality that we don't have to be happy all of the time to experience gratitude, Andryanna explains how we can feel our feelings when things are less than great, but we can always come back to gratitude and the things that we can actually grasp on to be happier in the end.
