Molly McCann, also known as Meatball Molly, is a mixed martial artist, currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. In this open and honest interview, Molly shares stories from her turbulent childhood, including her mum's struggle with addiction. Her mum was able to recover from addiction, get qualifications and turn her life around - Molly shares the immensely positive impact this has had on her, being able to follow the positive behaviour her mum illustrated.Molly has won thirteen fights, to only five losses. Ryan Mason is currently a first team football coach at Tottenham Hotspur FC and was the youngest person ever to manage a Premier League football match at 29. Ryan played football professionally until a life changing skull injury, which he suffered during a match and led to 48 staples in his skull. In this episode they discuss the injury and the struggles that took place in the following months. He shares how he fought through the anger and resentment that followed. Nine months after his injury, Ryan was told he would never play football again. This sudden life change led him to find a passion for coaching. Dame Stephanie Shirley is a businesswoman, technology pioneer and philanthropist. Currently at the age of 89, Stephanie has had a long career championing women in the workplace and new forms of technology, including being part of the team that programmed Concorde’s black box flight recorder. After being born in Germany, Stephanie was brought over to the UK on the Kindertransport during the WWII and lived with foster parents for many years. This turbulent childhood has shaped Stephanie’s life and career, teaching her how valuable life is and making her determined to do something good with every day. She discusses this with Jake and Damian in this open and honest conversation, along with the importance of being disruptive and innovative in business, whilst standing up for the people who need it, among much more. In the beginning of her career, she used the pen name ‘Steve’ to ensure she was taken seriously by her male counterparts.
