#30- What 'Passion' Means to Me

In this week's solo episode, I tell the story of why I have the word, 'Passion' tattooed on my left wrist. After struggling with depression and self-harm, I found it very challenging to feel any sense of purpose in my life, until I learned what I was truly passionate about. At the time, soccer was my sweet escape. It was the only place I could go to where I could feel like myself and get away from all the negative thoughts and feelings that I was battling constantly. 'Passion' became a word, a coping strategy, and a lifestyle that truly allowed me to find what set my soul on fire, and learn how to love my life again. I also give some personal updates in this episode related to my school and the inspiration behind the podcast. Trigger warning: self-harm is talked about in this episode.
