#44- Getting Out of a Toxic Relationship (with Larissa Joy)
This week, we are joined by Larissa Joy, an online wellness coach, who is sharing her personal story with both being in and getting out of a toxic relationship. In this episode, Larissa talks about what the relationship looked like, what kind of red flags were there, and how difficult it was to navigate the situation. She describes how challenging it can be to view these relationships as "toxic" when you do see small glimpses of love and hope throughout. After finally making the decision to leave her partner, she talks about some of the mental health struggles that she has been facing, including anxiety and PTSD, as well as a burdened mindset. Since beginning her healing journey, Larissa has come a really long way in personal growth, mental/emotional well-being, and advocating by sharing her story. She also provides a great deal of advice for anyone who may be currently in or recovering from a similar situation.
