In this week's episode, we are joined by small business owner, Paige Lyrette. Unfortunately, Paige lost her mom, and best friend, in November of 2021 to ALS. Paige goes into detail about how she is learning to cope after such a big loss and how her own mental health has been affected throughout the process. She talks about how her grieving journey actually started when they received the diagnosis 2 years prior and how it's only gotten harder since her passing. She also explains the process of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) and how difficult it was for her family to go through. This conversation is real and touching on so many levels.
