Revolutionising education with Web3
Chana Kanzen has a long history in tech and education and wears many hats. She is an advisor to TinyTap, the education startup recently acquired by Animoca Brands for $39 million, which recently sold out its first NFTs for over 138 ETH, and she's the founder of professional networking group London Women Leading Web3 (LWLW3).
Chana is a partner at Digital Wealth Fund, and alongside her many roles, she is also the cohost of the OriGensXYZ show on Rug Radio. Before entering Web3, she successfully scaled an educational tech NGO over the course of 10 years to an audience of over half a million users in over 100 countries.
In our session we cover everything from parenting in Web3, how NFTs could revolutionise education, and women in the Web3 space.

How digital-only clothing could revolutionise fashion, with The Fabricant
Adriana Hoppenbrouwer-Pereira is the cofounder of digital-only fashion house The Fabricant. Originally from Brazil, now based in Amsterdam, Adriana has over 20 years of experience across huge brands like Nike, HEMA and Coca-Cola, before she decided to embrace digital-only fashion.
The Fabricant raised $14 million in funding earlier in 2022, and they have some great names amongst their advisors like the CEO of Dapper Labs, and The Sandbox’s COO Sebastien Borget, who is also one of their angel investors. In our conversation, Adriana paints us a picture of what life could look like if we just had one physical outfit and instead had a wardrobe of amazing, varied, digital clothing.

Glossary of terms:
Crypto - digital cash
DeFi - decentralised finance (i.e. without central banks)
ETH - Ether, the native currency of the Ethereum blockchain
BTC - bitcoin!
altcoin - any cryptocurrency that’s not Bitcoin
DCA - dollar cost averaging aka buying a certain amount of cryptocurrency or other investment at regular intervals, for example buying $50 USD of Ether once a week, and therefore getting a different amount of Ether each time
PAXG - Paxos digital gold
KYC - Know Your Customer, a way for financial institutions to prevent fraud by verifying people’s identities

Bringing more Black women into Web3 with Oyin Adebayo
Oyin Adebayo is on a mission to economically empower Black women. She is the Founder and CEO of Niyo Group, with a set of bootcamps, a hair & beauty offering, and now a Web3 offering with Niyo Dapp rewarding creators and users in crypto for creating content.
She has advised charities, policymakers, worked on youth engagement and has now turned her attentions to helping Black women succeed in the next iteration of the internet and helping creators.

What does creative production look like in the metaverse?
Ashumi Sanghvi is the Founder of creative production agency MAD Global based in London, where clients include names like Tory Burch, Cartier, Net A Porter, Vice Media, and premium NFT platform Exclusible.
The agency started out offering print, social media and films before adding XR (AR and VR) content, digitally immersive experiences and NFT projects. She is also a mentor on the recently announced FARFETCH Web3 Accelerator Dream Assembly with Outlier Ventures, and was named on Brytehall’s Bryte Fashion Forces Top 100.
We talk about how her career working her way up as a creative producer for brands like Conde Nast, Missoni and Roland Mouret, through to how she got legendary fashion photographer Nick Knight involved in her major event in the summer. A psychotherapist's view on the NFT market
Marianne Le Coyte Grinney is a family and systemic psychotherapist who believes that 'the person is never the problem' and that people are best understood within systems, for example their family, work and social life.
So she has a unique take on the world of Web3 and NFTs, including the impacts on mental health. Alongside her multiple dayjobs in healthcare in the UK, Marianne is also the cofounder of Web3 project Held Mind (formerly Misfit Robots).

Heading into the metaverse with adidas
Erika Wykes-Sneyd was already Web2 royalty before she made waves in Web3 leading the /// Studio at adidas. She began her career at a motorcycle brand before working at tech giants like Google, Uber, and latterly she was Global Head of Brand Innovation and Experience at PayPal where she helped integrate cryptocurrency within the PayPal app.
Erika became CMO for adidas originals, collaborations and basketball in early 2021, and soon after she founded and scaled /// Studio, an internal startup to design the adidas web3 go-to-market strategy.
adidas notably dropped a major NFT collection with Bored Ape Yacht Club, gmoney and PUNKS Comic, led by Erika and her team - which we discuss in this episode.
Erika was born in Palm Springs, California, and currently resides in Nuremberg, Germany.

Making Web3 work for creative people
Aahliyah Amerat is a serial entrepreneur who’s made her way up starting with door-to-door sales as a teenager in London, later building up two beauty salons and a training academy where she taught specialised beauty treatments and entrepreneurship for disadvantaged communities.
She’s now marrying up training for creatives with Web3 technologies and has started Creataland, a learn-to-earn game for creatives to learn life and business skills. She also hosts her own podcast called The Promisingpreneur.
In this episode we talk about an all-expenses paid trip to Miami for a hackathon, and pretending to like dogs to be a successful saleswoman, and what she’s learned along the way.

Internet star Shira Lazar on staying mindful in Web3
Shira Lazar is an Emmy Award winning host, she’s a Canadian TV personality, entrepreneur, and now NFT royalty. She made a name for herself presenting shows before later creating her own through her business What’s Trending.
She has amassed a following of over 500k people on her personal channels, and over 1 million on What’s Trending thanks to cutting edge content and her witty, personable takes on digital culture.
While in quarantine in April 2020, Shira launched PeaceInside.Live, a platform with daily video classes around mindfulness, meditation and movement.
