Our guest today is James Ross. He’s a personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach and sports scientist - and also a founder and coach at The Richmond Gym in Melbourne.
He has also won won amateur 10 and 30 minute (double) long cycle at the world championships and placed 3rd in both biathlon and long cycle with 32s in 2019.

Aside from being a heavyweight in the Tai Chi and QiGong world and his endeavors in the film industry, he alongside Pavel Tsatsouline is credited with starting the modern kettlebell renaissance in the US in 2001 with RKC.
If it wasn’t for John’s vision, the west would probably be still oblivious of the kettlebell‘s existence. It is therefore our duty as kettlebell practitioners, to pay tribute to John and appreciate his foresight back in the day.

The Leading Woman In Modern Kettlebell Sport - w/ Svetlana Daniliuk - (Episode #33)
Svetlana is a record holder in the lightweight category (53 kg) in kettlebell sport, and I am the first woman in Russia to start competing in the long cycle discipline (a double kettlebell lift), having done so since 2015. The Long Cycle was not allowed for women in Russia until 2018.
She is conducting workshops and seminars around the world, as well as teaching kettlebell sport online.
