In this video, SEO consultant Olga shares the story of how she made the decision to go solo and become an independent SEO consultant. She talks about how last October (2022) she finally decided to give up her agency SEO jobs and go fully independent starting November 1st. Initially she struggled with having multiple jobs but eventually got to the point where half her income was from clients and half from an agency. When she finally went fully solo, she suddenly had a lot more time to focus on her own brand, share tutorials and videos, and do what she loves. Within just 60 days of going independent, Olga not only matched but exceeded her previous agency income as her earnings started trending upwards. She encourages others to take the leap to become an independent consultant if they have the SEO experience and are passionate about it. The SEO community is also very supportive, as she experienced firsthand when many leaders offered to crowdsource funds to help with a legal issue. Olga reflects that her only regret is not going independent sooner.
