Cosmic Mediumship with Marla Martenson – Podcast Snack
If you’d like a Cosmic Mediumship session with my friend Marla Martenson, just click here.
In this podcast snack, Marla and I talked about her readings and mediumship sessions. This time of year, with Halloween around the corner, the veil thins which makes it so much easier to connect with the other side.
Maybe you want to talk with family members who have passed on, or other friends and loved ones. This is a great reminder that death is not the end – you go on living!
Marla explained how after passing, you’re not up living in the clouds but instead, still here on earth. However, you’re in a different dimension that’s a higher frequency. That’s why most people can’t see those who have passed on.
However, Marla’s experience is that these souls often stay close to watch over and support you. They are listening, so feel free to talk with them!
I told a few stories about seeing spirits from my family. I also shared a personal session I had with Marla and what my mom told her. Then how it came to be in my life that same day! The message from my mom came to pass!
Marla’s stories about her mediumship are fun and heart-warming. From the mundane to something profound, you never know what will come through.
Marla is upbeat and delightful. Her eccletic style of reading includes some energy clearing and there may be messages from guides, etc. as well as your relatives or loved one who have passed on.
Just click here to book your 45-minutes session with Marla today! You’ll love her.

The Wind Reveals Deep Truth and Wisdom for You
Have you ever felt the wind whip with such force it took your breath away? Or watched a sudden gust shake the trees? That’s the power of the wind element, which is a messenger, a mirror, and a guide.
The wind is invisible, yet it moves everything it touches. It’s wild, unpredictable, and deeply intelligent. If you listen, the air can reveal invisible currents within yourself including your thoughts, emotions, and intuition. Air represents change, inspiration, and freedom and is the language of your soul when you listen.
What Is Air About?
Across many spiritual traditions, air is bigger than the oxygen you breathe. It represents the realm of mind and communication, the sacred breath that animates all living things. While earth grounds, water feels, and fire ignites, air moves. It’s the element of ideas, intuition, and new beginnings.
These phrases show how connected wind and the mind really are:
Winds of change
Fresh ideas
Head in the clouds
Brainstorming ideas
Movement is the essence of air because it never stays still. A soft breeze can turn into a gale in seconds, reminding you that life is always shifting. Air invites flexibility, release, and freedom.
From your first inhale to your last exhale, breath marks the rhythm of life. You have a sacred partnership with this element that mirrors how your own energy flows and transforms.
Culture & The Wind Element
The ancient Greeks were among the first to name air as a foundational element. Empedocles described it as one of the four building blocks of life alongside earth, fire, and water. This was later expanded by Aristotle and woven through alchemy and Western mysticism.
Air corresponds with the east, which is the direction of sunrise. To many that stands for new beginnings, brings clarity after darkness, and the spark of inspiration at dawn.
Air also lives within the breath itself. In Hinduism, it’s prana. In Hebrew mysticism, it’s ruach. And in Chinese philosophy, it’s chi. All these words link breath with spirit, which is the bridge between seen and unseen worlds. Indigenous peoples, see wind as sacred, with messengers of direction, wisdom, and spirit.
Astrologically, air rules Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. All are signs of communication, intellect, and innovation. In Tarot, air governs the suit of Swords, with the sharp edge of truth, clarity, and insight.
Across the world, air is more than what you breathe, but how spirit moves within you, around you, and through you.
Tools of the Wind
Air is the master of movement and cleansing, especially for the mind. While water clears emotion and fire transforms, air sweeps away mental clutter such as repetitive thoughts, stale energy, and the static that builds when you’ve been stuck for a while.
Working with air doesn’t require fancy tools. Just your presence, intention, and breath. The simplest gestures can shift your energy and open the mind to higher awareness.
Feathers: Nature’s pure expression of air, feathers were designed to catch the wind and rise. They carry freedom and the perspective of flight. Use feathers to move energy or clear a space. Their gentle motion stirs the unseen and carries your intention on invisible currents to the Gods.
Incense: If air had perfume, it would be incense, used in spiritual practice for millennia. The smoke from incense makes the invisible air visible, so you can watch it lift and move. Lighting incense instantly shifts the energy of a space and each aroma carries its own vibration.
Bells: Sound is air in motion, and bells create a single ring that vibrates through space, clearing energy and inviting new flow. Across traditions, bells signal the sacred, from church towers to altar chimes to Tibetan singing bowls. Their resonance breaks up stagnation and refreshes your surroundings.
Wind Chimes: The sound of wind chimes can be compared to an orchestra. They don’t need you to play them, but move with the wind element. Every song they play is spontaneous and alive. In feng shui, wind chimes keep chi flowing. Hung by doors or windows, they shift stagnant energy and invite harmony.
Rituals to Embody Air
There are a number of rituals you can do that work with your breath, sound, movement, and intention.
Mindful Breathing: Simply noticing your breath can clear the mind and calm the heart. Try a few rounds of box breathing (inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 4, hold 4) or extend your exhales to melt tension. Breathwork balances energy and invites clarity.
Meditation: Air loves stillness in motion. Focus on the feeling of breath entering and leaving, or visualize each inhale as clarity and each exhale as release.
Singing or Chanting: When you sing, you automatically lift your vibration and that of the air around you. Chanting or humming raises your frequency and there are no tools or talent required.
Writing & Speaking: Surpisingly, writing is a tool that takes your airy thoughts and brings them into the physical world. And when you speak, that gives your words wings. The most powerful way to use affirmations is to say them aloud, because then they create a vibration that goes out into the air.
Step into the Wind: On a breezy day, go outside to be in the wind. Let the air touch your skin, lift your hair, and carry away what no longer serves you. The wind knows what to do.
Channeled Message from Air
I connected with the wind element to see if there was a message for the listeners. Here’s what I heard:
“I am about communication. I am the storm, gathering energy to move, dance, and stir life. I can be gentle or relentless. I can caress your skin with a breeze or break centuries-old trees. Whisper your desires to me, and I’ll carry them far. Cast away your fears, and I’ll turn them to dust.
I plant seeds, lift feathers, and sweep the world clean. I roar like a lion and whisper in your ear. I am the wind — powerful, unpredictable, eternal. I am here for you, always.”
The Wind Is Everywhere
Air is everywhere, unseen, yet ever-present. It’s the whisper through the trees, the breath that carries your voice, the current that shifts energy in every moment.
Working with air, through feathers, incense, bells, wind chimes, or simple breath, is about awakening to change and freedom. The magic of the wind element is that it’s always here, ready to clear, lift, and inspire you.
All you have to do is breathe, listen, and let the wind remind you that you’re already part of the flow. And don’t forget to Breathe Love & Magic whenever you can.

Why Every Tarot Card Holds Wisdom For You (Even The Scary Ones)
Tarot cards have long been used as a tool for fortune-telling and connecting with the unseen world. But for my guest, Beth Lees, a transformation guide and tarot reader, the cards are far more than a tool for prediction.
Beth relies on the cards as a gateway for self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. Beth and I explore the deep wisdom of tarot and how it helps navigate life’s changes on t his episode of the Breathe Love & Magic podcast..
Tarot – A Tool for Self-Discovery
Many people approach tarot expecting to learn about the future. However, Beth sees the cards as a mirror for the unconscious. Quoting Carl Jung, she explains, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
The imagery of the tarot taps into our subconscious mind, allowing you to see your life from new perspectives and make empowered choices.
Beth’s readings help you understand yourself and your situation more deeply. She suggests that as you see things differently, you can change the trajectory of your life for the better.
Surrender – The Hanged Man Card
Beth drew a card for collective clarity for the listeners and chose The Hanged Man. While the card appears to be ominous, it’s actually about surrender. While hanging upside down from one foot, the man can see the world from a new perspective. The Hanged Man looks relaxed and illuminated, inviting you to let go and trust the process.
Beth shares a favorite Rumi quote that captures the essence of this card, “Don’t worry that your world is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?” Surrender, she explains, is not about giving up or losing, but pausing, reflecting, and allowing things to unfold without a lot of effort.
4 of Pentacles – Gratitude & Letting Go
Next, Beth picked the Four of Pentacles, often called the “Miser” card. While it can represent holding resources too tightly, Beth offers a more nuanced view. Her interpretation is to appreciate what you have, pause to reflect, and practice gratitude.
Every tarot card, has both positive and negative aspects, which is the same of life.
I mentioned that I felt confused about the cards pointing to surrender and holding on. Beth responded that confusion is a sign of growth. When you’re curious and open, you’re no longer stuck in old stories—we’re in a state of beginner’s mind, ready for creativity and new opportunities.
Debunking Tarot Myths
Tarot often gets a bad rap, Beth acknowledges, due to religious misconceptions and dramatic portrayals in movies. She emphasizes that there are no “good” or “bad” cards—each card simply reflects different aspects of life. The infamous Death card, for example, is not about literal death but transformation and new beginnings. Think of a snake shedding its old skin to promite growth.
The Tower and Transformation
Beth shared a powerful story from a tarot party she worked. A man, sat at her table, who was an Assocaited Press photographer. He was known for his iconic photo of someone jumping from the World Trade Center on 9/11.
Not knowing this, Beth pulled two cards for him – first the Hanged Man and then the Tower card in his reading. The Tower is a card about a big shake up, and the Hanged Man is about surrender. He asked her not to explain as he said what he saw.
Beth added her interpretation reading so he could see his photographic image in a new light. Rather than being associated only with the tragedy, she saw this also as an invitation to let go and find meaning in that person’s surrender.
Use Intuition to Learn Tarot
For those interested in learning tarot, Beth’s advice is simple. She suggests buying a deck and pick one card every day. Don’t rush to read the guidebook for meaning. Instead, pay attention to what you see and how the card makes you feel. According to Beth, the most important interpretation is your own.
Over time, you’ll develop a relationship with the cards and build trust in your intuition. Later, you can consult books for additional perspectives, but the foundation is your personal connection to the imagery.
Creative Uses for Tarot
The tarot has value beyond self-reflection or divination. It can also be a powerful tool for creativity and inspiration in everyday life. She offered several creative ways to use tarot.
1. Character Development – If you’re writing a book or story, pull a card to help shape a character’s personality or backstory. The imagery and symbolism can spark new ideas and add depth to your characters.
2. Decision-Making – Use tarot to bring a playful, intuitive element to everyday choices. Even something as simple as “What should I have for breakfast?” The cards can prompt you to consider new perspectives or options you hadn’t thought of.
3. Artistic Inspiration – Let the cards’ colors, symbols, and archetypes inspire visual art, poetry, or music. Beth encourages using quotes, songs, and questions along with the card meanings to deepen your creative relationship with them.
4. Personal Reflection – Beyond prediction, tarot can be a daily practice for journaling, meditation, or setting intentions. Pull a card and ponder its meaning for your day, your mood, or a challenge you’re facing.
The key is to approach the cards with curiosity, playfulness, and an open mind. There are no limits to how you can use tarot to spark creativity and insight.
The Joy of Tarot
Above all, Beth reminds you that tarot can be fun. In times of uncertainty, a sense of wonder and playfulness can help navigate life’s challenges. Pick a card each day, consdier its meaning, and look for the positive aspects. Approach the cards and life with eyes of curiosity and joy.
According to Beth, the point of the tarot is not just a tool for predicting the future, but a companion for the journey of self-discovery. Whether you’re facing a major life change or simply seeking a daily dose of inspiration, the cards can assist.
Tarot invites you to pause, reflect, and trust the unfolding path. The magic of tarot lies beyond the card meanings, in the wisdom, curiosity, and joy you bring to reading them.

Go with the Flow – A Remarkable Epiphany
For years I’ve said to myself, “I am the magic” as part of my morning ritual to align my energy for my highest good. But now more than ever, I want to go with the flow which feels even more powerful. To me, that means life will feel easier, lighter, and be less of a struggle.
And recently, I realized that maybe, just maybe, I’m finally getting there and learning how.
The Burger and the Bill
The other night, I went out with friends to a comedy club to see to psychic mediums do their thing. They were pretty good! But, dinner came with quirks. My burger showed up missing toppings and the “side salad” was a sad, tiny pile of lettuce with no dressing. Yet, I was charged $5 extra for it.
In the past, I would have called the waitress over, argued, maybe even asked for the manager. I would’ve told the story later to my husband, friends, or anyone willing to commiserate.
But this time something different happened. I just paid the bill and let it go.
It might sound small, but for me, this was huge! Letting go has never been easy for me. I’ve even joked about how I wish someone would create that essence and bottle it so I could atake a swig when needed. But here it happened. I just let go to go with the flow without fanfare.
Spilled Shakes and Soaked Cushions
Over the past weekend, life threw a couple of tests my way. A glass literally popped apart while I was making a protein shake, splattering liquid everywhere. I didn’t flip out or get angry. In fact my husband came to help and we both laughed as we tried to stop the flow and cleaned up.
Then minutes later, we found the soaked carpet had been soaked becaue we brought the outdoor cushions inside and theu were full of water from a rain storm two days prior. We blotted the water with towels and put a fan on the carpet to dry it out.
Go with the Flow
Normally, both these incidents would have sent me into swearing, frustration, and more, messing up my energy and my day. But instead, my husband and I just cleaned up, laughed, took care of it and simply moved on.
Again, these are small things. But for me, this demonstrates a massive change in my respnose. Looking back now, these moments showed me I am learning to let go and go with the flow.
The Cost of Indignation
Months ago, Spirit told me something that was hard to hear. My indignation was robbing me of joy. Every time I got caught up in how unfair life felt, I drained my own energy and preventedmyself from feeling orfinding any joy.
That hit me big time. Because joy is something I deeply want more of. I began to see that sometimes the real cost isn’t the $5 salad or a broken glass. Instead, it’s the peace I sacrifice when I stay stuck in outrage.
I used to believe I had to fight every little battle, prove my point, and make sure people treated me fairly. I stood up for myself, confronted people when necesary, and didn’t sweep things under the carpet. I always stood up for myself and many people say they admired that about me. I approached things head on and got them done.
But, I’m ready to move on from that. I see now how much energy I was giving to this process and how I felt ready for a greater sense of inner peace, calmness, and more joy.
Pick Your Battles
Letting go doesn’t mean I roll over or never speak up. For someone who’s always stood her ground, the lesson isn’t about finding my voice, but softening it. I’m more inclined now to conserve my energy for what really matters: joy, laughter, creativity, and inner peace.
Here’s another example for the evening with the mediums. When I pulled into the parking lot behind the place, and did the QR code to pay for parking, the price was $38 for a couple of hours. My indignation flared up instantly. Ridiculous!
But there were no other options, no attendant, and no time to drive around. I just let go and paid. I didn’t love it, but I chose the lesser of two evils, which was paying the fee rather than wasting time and energy searching for a cheaper spot.
Was I thrilled about it? No. Did I carry it with me all night? Also no. And that’s the difference. I’m starting to choose which annoyances are worth my attention and which ones don’t deserve center stage.
Discovering a New Pattern
When I step back and look at these small situations—burgers, shakes, cushions, parking lots—I see a pattern emerging. I’m not getting pulled under as quickly. I’m not turning everything into a fight.
I’m beginning to laugh more often at the absurdities instead of letting them ruin my mood and energy. And honestly? It feels like freedom.
These are small shifts, but for someone who’s spent years trying to figure out how to “let go,” they feel monumental.
Lessons from Spirit
This change also reminded me of something Spirit showed me months ago. I’d been told that my habit of being indignant, which is about being disrespected or slighted, etc. That leads to wanting fair treatment and complaining about the situation.
All of this nonsense and drama was preventing me from feeling more joy. Mostly because I didn’t have the energy for joy with all the drama I was creating.
At first, I bristled at that idea about indignation. Wasn’t I justified in wanting to be treated fairly? But slowly I began to see the truth. I was letting the little stuff drain me dry.
Now I can see that joy doesn’t require everything to go my way. Joy comes when I stop fighting long enough to notice the good stuff that’s already present.
Celebrating Small Shifts
And here’s where I want to turn this around to you. Because I know I’m not the only one growing. These little moments of progress when you react differently than you used to are worth noticing and celebrating.
Maybe you didn’t lose your cool in traffic. Maybe you forgave someone faster than you thought possible. Maybe you spoke up for yourself when you usually would’ve stayed quiet.
Whatever it is, it counts!
Growth doesn’t always look like a reaching the top of a mountain. Sometimes it looks like paying the bill without a scene, laughing at spilled shakes, or deciding joy is more valuable than indignation.
Flow Provides Freedom
I’m not perfect at this—just ask me about that $38 parking lot. But the point isn’t perfection. The point is noticing progress.
I’m learning to go with the flow, choosing my battles, and letting go of the ones that don’t matter. And every time I do, I feel lighter, freer, and closer to the joy I want to live in.
So today, I invite you to take a moment and notice your own shifts. Congratulate yourself for how far you’ve come, even if it feels small. Because these are the stepping stones of the transformation you desire and dream of.
And if I can celebrate not flipping out over soggy cushions and overpriced salad and parking, and consider them as victories, I’ll bet you’ve got your own quiet wins waiting to be recognized.
Give yourself some credit and love and acknowledge the little changes. They add up to big changes over time!

The Water Element Offers Many Ways To Leverage It’s Power
Have you ever called upon the water element? Beyond quenching your thirst, water can clear away what no longer serves you, open the flow of intuition, or carry your dreams into being.
A Great Ally
Water is one of our greatest allies, holding mystery, memory, and the power to transform everything it touches. When I spoke with Jenn T. Peterson, Equus Coach and Shaman Reiki Master Teacher, she reminded me that water isn’t just practical; it’s spiritual. “Our entire earth is water. Our bodies are about 80% water. So when you think about it, we are water,” she said.
That hit me. From the ocean that touches every continent flows in our cells to a mountain stream, or the rain falling from the sky, and even the glass of water on your desk. Each one is a part of water element, including you!
Water Is Life
Water covers more of the earth than land, and nothing survives without it. We drink it, cook with it, bathe in it. It’s influence runs deeper. Across cultures, water has always been sacred. Think of holy water for blessing, shamanic water for cleansing, and even modern research shows that water crystals respond to intention.
Jenn also connected water with emotions which are fluid, shifting constantly from calm to stormy in a moment. Emotions live in the body, moving like tides. That’s why dreams, intuition, and emotional healing all resonate with the water element.
Here’s a simple truth. Most people are often dehydrated. Without enough water, even moods and emotional balance suffer. Hydrating goes beyond physical self-care, because it impacts you emotional and spiritual well-being too.
Tears also remind us of water’s role in release. Crying is the body’s way of cleansing. Instead of resisting tears, we can honor them as sacred.
Work with the Water Element
Talking about water is inspiring—but the real magic is in practice. When you bring intention to everyday interactions with water, the ordinary becomes sacred. Jenn explained some beautiful rituals, and I’ve added a few of my own. Use what resonates and adapt the rest. Water is generous like that—it doesn’t demand perfection.
1.Water Whispering
This is one of Jenn’s favorite practices, and once you try it, you’ll understand why. Take three containers of water in glass or metal which works best since they hold frequency. Whisper into the first container something you want to release. Into the second, whisper an intention for your own healing or growth. Into the third, whisper a prayer for the earth.
Your voice is vibration, and water records that frequency. If you’ve whispered an intention, drink the water so your body, which is 80% water, carries the message. If you’ve whispered a release, pour it into the ground and let the earth transmute it. For planetary healing, return it to the land, a plant, or even the sink with gratitude.
It’s such a simple act, yet powerful because it brings body, mind, and spirit into harmony. You’re speaking your truth, embodying it, and partnering with the natural world.
2. Purify with Water
One of the simplest ways to clear energy is in the shower. Instead of rushing through your routine, set the intention: I release what no longer serves me. Feel the water carrying away tension, sadness, or fear. The same shower that wakes you up can also cleanse your spirit.
Even washing your hands can become a clearing ritual. Once, at a gathering where someone’s energy felt heavy, I excused myself and washed my hands three times, each time picturing the energy going down the drain. It worked! I walked out lighter and clearer. That’s the beauty of water: it gives us discreet, practical tools to restore balance.
3. Tears as Medicine
We don’t always think of crying as sacred, but it is. Tears are one of the body’s most honest offerings. They move energy we can’t carry, soften the heart, and release what words cannot. Instead of resisting or apologizing for tears, honor them as your own water element ceremony.
4. Scry and Reflect
Water can also become a mirror for guidance. In shamanic journeys, Jenn kneels by a pond or lake and looks into the reflection, allowing her intuition to reveal visions of the future or hidden truths.
You can do the same with a bowl of water at home. Light a candle nearby, gaze softly, and see what images or impressions arise. This practice connects you to your deeper wisdom while reminding you that answers already ripple within.
5. Freeze with Intention
One of the most unusual practices Jenn shared is “putting something on ice.” Whisper a situation into water, freeze it, and tuck it into your freezer. This halts the momentum, gives you distance, and lets the universe hold it until you’re ready.
One of the most unusual practices Jenn shared is “putting something on ice.” Whisper a situation into water, freeze it, and tuck it into your freezer. This halts the momentum, gives you distance, and lets the universe hold it until you’re ready.
She once forgot about a frozen intention for over a year, and when she rediscovered it, the situation had completely lost its grip. Sometimes the most powerful magic comes from letting go and trusting time to work.
6. Manifest and Release
Water is transformation. It shifts from liquid to vapor to ice, reminding us that nothing is fixed. In shamanic work, water often becomes the vessel for journeys—like Jenn’s River of Time, which carries people to past or future insights.
Manifestation also ties into water. If desires aren’t appearing, it’s often fear that’s fueling them. Releasing fear through water rituals clears the way so intentions can actually flow in.
And like a river carving a canyon, water shows us that persistence reshapes reality. Change doesn’t have to be forced; it can be steady, fluid, and natural.
Your Invitation to Flow
Water is everywhere—within you, around you, above and beneath you. It sustains life, carries memory, and responds to intention. Whether you’re sipping a glass, stepping into the shower, or whispering a prayer into a stream, you’re connecting with one of the most powerful allies we have.
The invitation is simple: engage with the water element consciously. Whisper your dreams. Wash away what no longer serves you. Cry when you need to. Place something on ice if it feels too heavy. And most of all, when it feels right, let yourself flow.
Because like water, you are ever-changing, ever-connected, and far more powerful than you know.
Get Jenn’s Free Gift: Most people set goals from fear, not intuition. That’s why Jenn created Soul Goals, a free guided shamanic journey + goal tracker to help you tune into your highest vision and set goals that feel divinely aligned.

Why Self-Love Might Be The Key To World Peace
Here’s a radical new revelation – there’s a connection between self love practices and world peace which I’m so excited to tell you about. Hang in there with me because this takes a while to unravel.
Still Learning to Let Go
This is part of my continuing quest to learn how to let go. New ideas keep showing up, probably to help me release deeper layers or finish with things I started that aren’t done yet.
I have several situations in my life that I cannot fix. The only solution is to let go. Somehow, I have to release my need to rehearse speeches in my head.
These thought loops brings me down and drain my energy. It certainly doesn’t allow me to expand fully or reach my potential. A cloud forms over my sparkly being and holds me back. Yet, my brain slips into this groove automatically, as if it likes being there.
Yesterday, I was talking to a friend who is also going through this thought loop habit. Energy patterns are always easier to spot with someone else, soI can distill the issue and see the solution. Here’s what I told her from spirit, which of course applies to me too.
Big Revelation
“You cannot let go by thinking about letting go. Why? Because this requires you to think about the situation and hold onto the energy rather than letting it go. You can’t think about letting go and actually let go at the same time. The very act of thinking about it holds you to the problem you desperately want to release.
Yes, feel your feelings. I’m not suggesting you stuff down your feelings. But when it comes to letting go, being in your head will not help.
What can you do? The solution is to think about something else. Years ago I started calling this practice “replacement thoughts.” And here it is again.
The point is to think about something you actually want to think about. Choose what makes you feel good, smile, or builds confidence. Consider what will set your energy in motion in the most positive way and replace those circular, negative thought loops.
Let me give you two examples. If I catch myself looping, I might think about a great vacation memory of being in Ireland. That thought instantly changes my mood. Or, if I want something uplifting, I might focus on my affirmations: “I trust the universe and feel supported.”
Jump Tracks in Your Brain
These thoughts reroute the energy, like jumping a train track, so you move toward a brighter destination. Neuroscience backs this up. The brain has many well-worn pathways and surprisingly, negative tracks are preferred. The more you repeat a thought, the deeper the pathway becomes, until it’s well-worn.
But you can create new paths! With practice, replacement thoughts create new grooves in your brain and eventually, those uplifting thoughts will become the new default.
Yesterday I found the perfect replacement practice for me, and I want to share it with you because it’s so darn good. I listened to Dani Kenney’s podcast Energy Expansion and her episode on life-changing daily practices. She had several good ideas but the one I liked is called Love Letters. I’ll call it Love Notes.
Dani suggests you start your day by writing yourself a Love Note. Get a journal just for this purpose. If you don’t want to write sentences, make a daily list of bullet points that you love about yourself. This is one of many self love practices
She read a few examples during the podcast and started by just with “I love that you…” and wrote something different each day, based on her mood or what was happening.
Self Love Practices – Love Note
I started today in my own way. I encourage you to do the same. Give yourself permission to do what works for you. Here’s what I wrote as my very first entry:
“I love myself. I am a beacon of light. I am magic. I trust the universe and feel supported. I walk my highest path. I am stardust, leaving a sparkling trail of joy behind me and creating a sparkling path of joy before me, paving the way to what is next. I share my light with the world. Today is going to be fun!”
After, I connected with my guides to see what they had to say today. Here’s what they said to me.
“What a beautiful way to start your day! You will begin to enjoy this process more than something you must or should do. It’s something you’ll relish. You’ll love doing this and look forward to it.
It won’t be a chore on your list but a practice of uplifting yourself and connecting with the truth of your soul. It will bring you joy and set your energetic intention for the day. Welcome to your next level. Walk boldly. Walk in the light. Walk in the joy and live in the magic.”
Ok wow. That brought tears to my eyes. I’m going to keep after these self love practices.
The Maharishi Effect
Here’s what happened right after I finished my love note yesterday. I got a text from a woman in my manifesting group. She sent me an article about the Maharishi Effect and asked if I had heard of it.
Yes, I heard about this and knew groups gathered, using Transcendental Meditation to move humanity towards peace. They’ve done incredible scientific research to show that the power of people who do this is mathematically squared. In other words, when 10 people meditate they have the power of 100. And when thousands of people gather, that represents millions!
Their research also shows that group meditations drive a decrease in violence – 16% on average, in the location where they meditate. This all started back in 1974 and is still going strong.
Okay, let’s take this a step further. Here’s what came to me from spirit.
“Imagine a world where people loved themselves. When people say, ‘I’m just one person, what can I do that will make a difference?’ now you know what to do. When you meditate with others for peace it does make a difference. When you love yourself and start your day with love notes, you raise your vibration which ripples out to people around you.”
Bioenergetic Clearings
When I do bioenergetic clearings for people, I start and finish by measuring their hertz frequency. I find there’s often a dramatic jump upwards after the clearing.
Next time you have a personal clearing, remember you are actually upleveling the world. Everyone around you benefits. That’s amazing isn’t it? Another great example of self love practices.
We are so very powerful, but don’t spend enough time leveraging the positive. However, we are naturally good at leveraging negative energy. We talk about the crumbling state of the world, listen to the news, and complain about our lives or other people. I do it too.
This has caused a rise in hatred, a split in our country, and the inability to listen to or understand the opposing side.
One Person Does Make a Difference
But what if we changed that? What if it were as simple as starting your day by loving yourself? Acknowledge the good you contain and share that with the world. You matter. You matter in a huge way and it’s time to start acknowledging that.
Just because you can’t see or doubt your impact in this moment, that has nothing to do with the truth of your impact. Every single one of you matter and contribute to the good of the whole and the world.
This is why spiritual leaders say world peace starts with inner peace. And this idea of writing love notes, expressing love for yourself is a massive energetic accelerator.
Add to the Light
Here’s a deep truth. When I love myself, I’m not just healing me. I’m adding light to the grid that connects us all. Every kind word I whisper to myself, every loving thought I hold, ripples outward. Being kind to others is important but loving yourself is a force of gigantic proportion.
This is my invitation to you. Tomorrow morning, write a single light-filled love note to yourself. Let it be simple, inspired, and fun! get started with self love practices. Notice how even the smallest act shifts the current you’re flowing in.
Because this is how magic works. One thought at a time. One heart at a time. And before you know it, that little ripple becomes a big wave.

Past Life Memories: 25 Clues to Unlock Who You Really Were
Curious about who you were in a past life? In this episode I share 25 clues to discover past life memories without hypnosis or meditation.
Past Life Memories
Have you ever felt an odd pull toward a place, a style, or even a moment in history that doesn’t seem to fit into your current life? That tug of curiosity might not be random at all. In fact, it could be a whisper from past life memories.
My own interest in reincarnation started young. In the 4th grade, I wrote a book report on the Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten. By 6th grade, my fascination had grown. With two girlfriends, we recreated the inside of a pyramid with colored pencils and shirt cardboard from the cleaners.
Those early obsessions weren’t just school projects but clues pointing to experiences my soul already lived. Over time, I’ve seen how these clues show up. They sometimes appear as passions and talents, and other times as aversions or fears. The trick is to notice what stirs something strong inside you.
The Fascination Never Ends
One of the most obvious signs of a past life memory is when you feel drawn to a particular period of history. For me, it’s always been King Arthur’s legends, the drama of Queen Elizabeth I, and the romance of Renaissance Italy.
In fact, the first European country I ever visited was Italy, as if my soul had been calling me back home. Travel is a very common clue. Yet, the clues don’t always show up in such bold ways. Sometimes they hide in the details of everyday life.
Take my home décor, for example. Years ago, I decorated my bedroom with Corinthian columns, which are ornate, decorative columns I picked up from an antique store. They flank either side of my bed with a crosspiece above, holding lights.
Why did I feel the need for this specific architectural style? At the time, I didn’t stop to question it. But later, I recognized it as another subtle nudge from my Italian past life memories.
Lessons from Ancient Egypt
One of the most vivid past-life visions I’ve had took me right back to ancient Egypt, echoing the fascination I’d felt as a child. In this vision, I was a wealthy woman, not royalty but rich enough to live in luxury. I was decked out in fabulous jewelry.
But the attitude of my spirit wasn’t so pretty. That woman I saw myself as was harsh, yelling at servants and cruel. Not exactly a lighthearted soul or my best act.
And here’s where it got interesting. In my very next lifetime, I was back in Egypt again, but this time as a slave, making mud bricks under the punishing sun. It was during the time of Moses, so I eventually found freedom and crossed the Red Sea to wander the desert.
From wealth and power to the humblest of lives, my soul wanted both experiences. That’s how past lives work. They help us balance, grow, and round out the rough edges.
Echoes of War
Sometimes the patterns show up across many readings. For instance, a few years ago I decided to do 30 readings in 30 days for different people. I was quite surprised when I saw that several people had been Roman soldiers. I questioned the validity of this finding.
However, when you think about it, Rome’s empire lasted for centuries, and the army was quite massive with thousands of warriors. So, it makes sense that many could have come back today when you think about how many souls had that experence in the past.
Another striking story came through during a past life reading for a woman who had deep fears of fireworks and drowning that she couldn’t explain. In this life she is a Japanese woman and she wanted to know about her most recent incarnation.
Learn More about Getting a Past Life Reading
Turns out she was a US sailor who died in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. I was impressed with this soul’s bravery to return to the culture that caused his death and also to come back as a woman. While these were difficult past life memories, understanding the root cause of her fears was helpful.
A Viking at Halloween
One of my favorite examples was also one of the most nerve-wracking. My friend begged me to do a past life reading for a local newspaper reporter who came to the psychic fair. Of course I worried about not coming up with anything.
The reporter sat down at my table and his wife stood behind him. Both friendly but gave nothing away. What I saw was crystal clear – he had a life as a Viking. Blonde hair, a beard, heavy tunic, shield, sword, helmet—the works. He was training with his sword with other men from the village.
When I described the scene, I held my breath, wondering if he’d roll his eyes. Instead, his wife burst out laughing. She told me that every single Halloween, without fail, he dressed up as a Viking. His past still echoed, nudging him to remember.
Halloween itself can be a massive source of clues. Year after year, people instinctively pick costumes that feel oddly familiar. It’s as if the soul seizes its chance to slip into an old identity, even just for one night. Maybe you’re always drawn to being a witch, a flapper, a soldier, or a queen. It could be past life memories.
Your Soul Knows
Exploring past lives is fun, but also revealing. It helps explain the unexplainable. Why you’re drawn to certain places, why certain fears linger, and why certain people feel instantly familiar. It’s a way to understand yourself on a soul level, with compassion and curiosity.
Next time you find yourself magnetically drawn to a piece of history, a place, or even a Halloween costume, pause and ask yourself, “Could this be a clue?” The soul is always whispering, leaving breadcrumbs to remind you of the vastness of who you really are.
26 Clues about Your Past Lives
So, if a memory, dream, or fascination stirs something in you, write it down in your past life memories journal. Even the smallest clue can open the door to a story your soul is waiting to remind you about.

The Messy Truth About How To Trust Yourself & The Universe
Today I’m talking about how to trust yourself and the Universe. This has been one of my biggest lfie challenges, but I’ve got some simple tips that really work in this episode.
Lessons in Trust
Many lessons about trust have come to me through business. Back in 2010, I partnered with Cathy, another dating coach, to host a summit about love—a marketing method that was just starting to catch on.
At first, working together felt easy. I handled speakers and web design, she handled promotion. Then, during a check-in meeting, she announced her coach told her she didn’t need me anymore. She still wanted to finish the event, but she’d be taking it from there to continue the next year.
I was devastated. I had trusted her, and suddenly she was going to take my work. I told her she could do her own event and didn’t give her access to the site I’d built. When we hung up, I was literally shaking.
Even though it was August, hot and humid, I went to the beach with my husband to calm down. As we walked, I kept running it over again in my mind. Paul wanted to leave but I needed to walk a bit more. Then, 50 feet ahead I saw scratched into the sand in big 5″ letters: TRUST.
I froze. Who wrote that? Trust what? Trust who? My husband said, “Trust yourself.” Not exactly the message I wanted, but the truth was there. I couldn’t trust Cathy, but I could trust myself enough to walk away.
Going Deeper
There was a deeper lesson too. Trust isn’t blind faith or ignoring red flags. It’s really about discernment. Cathy showed me who she was. The real question became, did I trust myself to act on this new information? I sure did. Walking away from her wasn’t what I wanted, but it was the only thing to do.
You can’t expect everyone to do right by you. Yet, you don’t want to distrust everyone blindly either. When you trust yourself, you’ll stay open while knowing you’ll handle things if they go awry.
The Universe often teaches lessons through other people and relationships. Sometimes it comes in the form of disappointment or betrayal, while other times through support and friendship. Learn to trust yourself to respond appropriately when someone shows you who they are.
Over the years, I’ve learned to trust my gut. I feel the truth in my body. Often it shows up as something hard I know I have to do, but wish I didn’t.
So let’s talk about trust—trusting yourself, the Universe, and that whole magical dance between the two.
What Does “Trust the Universe” Mean?
Trusting the Universe isn’t about astrology or seeing signs or manifesting. It’s about believing life isn’t out to get you, and that you are supported, even when all hell breaks loose.
When you surrender to the Universe, It’s not giving up. It’s letting go of needing to control the details or the outcome. Next time something goes wrong, pause and say, “I trust this will work out, even if I don’t know how.” Notice the shift.
To work on trusting the Universe, remember that you have a team of helpers in spirit including spirit guides, angels, and ancestors who all watch out for you.
You can also do things like pick an oracle card, pay attention to synchronicities and jot them down, and celebrate the hunches and signs you notice.
To trust yourself, think of this like buidling a muscle. You exercise and work it to strengthen it. You might read Gabby Bernstein’s book The Universe Has Your Back to get some insights and inspiration.
Trust Yourself
Now flip the mirror to look within. To trust yourself means knowing you can survive mistakes, make better choices, and be more resilient. Without self-trust, even the Universe can’t guide you.
Every promise you keep to yourself, even tiny ones, reinforces that at least you’ve got your own back. Instead of thinking of mistakes as failures, consider them to be your teachers. Growth is messy but it proves you’re evolving.
Practice: Before your next decision, ask yourself, “If I trusted myself completely, what would I do?” Let your gut answer, not your doubts or ego.
Here’s a story about how much I trust myself. A couple of years ago, I quit a job right before I started. The man in charge had hired 50 coaches, and something felt off. I had an inner conversation with him, intuitively, and got the same strange answer twice. Intuitively, I heard him say, “Not my problem.”
Because I trusted my inner wisdom, I walked away, even after three interviews and training. Eighteen months later, reviews confirmed my knowing – they didn’t get paid. Trusting myself saved me from working for free. I do admit that I’m still working on trusting the Universe
Cultivating Trust
Let’s get practical. Here are ways to build trust daily:
Pause, Breathe, Repeat: When fear hits, ask, “What if everything worked out for my highest good?”
Track Evidence: Write down times life surprised you or you overcame something hard. Use it as proof the Universe has your back.
Take Imperfect Action: Don’t wait until you’re ready. Hit publish, send the message, and start the thing. Trust grows when you lean in.
Universe + Yourself = Magic
When you blend trust in yourself with trust in the universe, life gets lighter. You shift from gripping the steering wheel to co-creating with spirit. Like a surfer, you ride the waves and go with the flow, even if you’re nervous.
What are the benefits of living this way? Less anxiety. More flexibility. Openness in relationships. Even failures become stepping stones toward resilience and wisdom.
Trust Yourself Tricks
When fear hits, breathe deeply and say, “The universe is working for me.” Pretend you believe it, even for a minute.
Before your next task, whisper, “I trust myself.” Ask, “What would I do if I trusted myself fully?” Let your body answer.
Take one small brave action each day and celebrate it.
The Universe is Not a Genie
One word of caution. The universe is not like a genie who will grant your wishes. The reason is sometimes you want things that might not be for your highest good. So, the universe will provide and help you, but the solution might not look exactly as you thought it would.
The best approach is not to be attached to the exact way things work out. What’s for your highest good might not match your precise wishes, but that doesn’t mean things won’t work out well. Let it be enough that things work out and receive the solution with grace as much as possible.
I’m not saying you can’t have what you want. Often you can. Just know that sometimes the best possible solution might look different than you planned.
There are times when not getting what you want is actually a gift. Especially when you look back and see how things might have turned out poorly in the long run.
Trusting yourself is built in micro-moments and big leaps, through laughter and lessons. It can be messy, it can be fun, but it always pays off.
So, trust yourself, keep showing up, and keep laughing when life goes sideways. The Universe and your soul have your back more than you imagine.

Are Struggling And Suffering Required For Growth?
Struggle shows up in many ways and plays a crucial role in personal growth, societal progress, and spiritual development. It builds resilience, character, and ultimately shapes who you are.
When you struggle, it can be a powerful motivator, prompting you to adapt, learn, and strive for improvement. Facing challenges can also strengthen relationships and produce empathy.
But is it always required? Some people grow through joy, creativity, and inspiration instead of hardship. Let’s look at the purpose of struggle in three areas of life.
1. Personal Growth and Resilience
Character Development: Struggle forces us to confront difficult emotions, overcome obstacles, and develop persistence.
Learning and Adaptation: By navigating challenges, we learn valuable lessons and problem-solving skills.
Self-Awareness: Struggle reveals our strengths, weaknesses, and areas we need to grow.
Defining Values: Hardship clarifies what truly matters to us.
Appreciating Success: Difficulties make us more grateful for life’s positive moments.
2. Progress for Society
Innovation and Change: Societal struggles often spark movements and scientific breakthroughs.
Motivating Action: Hardship can highlight injustices and inspire people to work toward a better world.
Building Solidarity: Shared experiences create connection and collective strength. This is what can bring people together for a common cause.
3. Spiritual Development
Finding Meaning: Struggle can spark reflection on life’s purpose.
Strengthening Faith: For some, adversity deepens trust in a higher power.
Spiritual Growth: Struggle can open the heart to compassion and empathy.
Living Authentically: It often pushes us to embrace our true selves.
Ultimately, struggle is an inherent part of being human. While painful, it’s also a powerful force for growth and meaning. As Jo Boaler, British educator and author of Limitless Mind, explains:
“We cannot achieve anything creative without being comfortable with mistakes and struggle—and we should all embrace times of struggle, knowing they are helping our brains. When we adopt a limitless perspective, approaching different jobs and conversations with a comfort with uncertainty and struggle, with a willingness to learn from others and with a flexible approach to problems, outcomes improve—in learning and in life.”
That’s the beauty and power of group work. Nothing else like it if you ask me. The connection to the Universe is amazing when we work together, because the energy is amplified significantly.
Struggling vs. Suffering
Here’s where I want to pause for a moment and clarify. Struggle and suffering are not the same thing. Struggle can be short-term—it’s the effort, the push, the challenge.
Suffering, on the other hand, is often prolonged. It’s the ongoing pain, heaviness, or despair felt when you resist what is happening or attach to the story of the struggle. In many ways, suffering is struggle without acceptance.
Struggle may sharpen you, but suffering can wear you down if you stay stuck in it.
In my monthly Intuitive and Akashic Records group, one member asked how today’s suffering in the world impacts collective consciousness. This group has been working together for a couple of years to do intuitive work, which amplifies the energy significantly. That means we can access higher information for better answers,
Before diving into that, I’ve been curious about why so many people feel the world is in such a dreadful state. Is it really worse now than in other periods in history?
I asked AI to compare different historical periods. It ranked Black Plague in the 1400s as the worst—when 30–60% of Europe’s population died! Next came WWII certainly creating a lack of stability across the globe.
It also pointed out something I hadn’t considered. One thing that makes today feel so much worse than it might really be is the instant access to global news and social media. Every tragedy, act of violence, and natural disaster is broadcast immediately.
Our ancestors didn’t carry this weight of the world the way we do today. No wonder your nervous system feels maxed out!
Messages from the Akashic Records
Back to the group session. Here are the messages that came through to answer the question about suffering and the collective.
My message: “Suffering isn’t required for growth. But resistance can create circumstances where suffering shows up as the push needed to evolve. Many people need that catalyst and your higher self will orchestrate that if it’s needed to get you moving.”
Kay’s message: “Yes, there is suffering and it adds up in the collective. However, be concerned with the self and not the collective. Too much time focusing on others or the collective becomes a distraction from your own personal growth. It’s better to focus yourself.”
Well you can let that free you up from worrying about the world and the collective consciousness!
Bee’s message: Lastly, I want to share what Bee got as a message. Hold onto your seat because this communication blew me away!
“There are many factors to humanity’s collective growth and awakening. Each person evolves in their own time/timeline. There is tremendous growth right now if you could only see it.
The low vibe or darkness keeps you at bay, so you’re suppressed to knowing there is so much light in the world, you would consider it blinding!
Raise your vibration. Raise your awareness to your abilities to go within. Step out of the matrix and you will see not only how you have evolved, but also how the planet as a whole has as well. Reconnect with nature and all that is your light shines brightly.”
OMG the light on earth is blinding! Imagine that.
I’ve mentioned before how Kryon, channeled by Lee Carol, said about 10 years ago that earth had achieved 26% light and what good news that was. According to Kryon, we only needed 25% light to handle the darkness in the world. Imagine what the percentage is now if spirit considers it to be blinding!
Really take that in for a moment and let it sink into your consciousness. There is so much light that if you could see it, it would appear blinding. In other words nothing else would be visible except the light.
In addition, since you are a part of everything and everything is a part of you, that means your light is blinding too!
A New Manifesting Idea
Of course, after these big revelations, I still find myself seesawing with personal struggles. Recently I saw article about how to manifest when you don’t know what you want. It was a good reminder that growth isn’t always clear-cut. I ended up writing my own affirmation, inspired by the article and the writer’s affirmation, as well as these ideas on struggle and growth.
“I surrender to this transformation of my life now and am moving to my next phase that’s fun, synchronistic, and so exciting. I trust the Universe and feel supported!”
Could that affirmation work for you too? I purposely included fun and excitement, that I may learn through joy and creativity vs. struggling.
How to Shift Out of Suffering
If you find yourself struggling or suffering, pause and ask, “Am I struggling productively, or am I suffering unnecessarily?”
Here are some suggestions to shift out of struggling and suffering:
Journal your feelings
Set energetic boundaries (especially if you’re an empath)
Breathe into acceptance
Reach out to a supportive friend
If you’re overwhelmed by the world’s pain, do what you can to let those thoughts float by. This is a place where distracting yourself is productive! Do something creative, play, sing, dance, but don’t allow yourself to sink into despair.
History shows humanity has lived through far worse than today’s corrupt world leaders and natural disasters.
So, Is Struggle Required?
Not always. Growth will always ask something of you, but suffering and struggling are not always a must. You can meet change through joy, creativity, and flow just as much as through hardship.
The choice is how you engage with life’s challenges and your attitude toward growth. Embrace the changes, and you’ll struggle and suffer a whole lot less.
xoxo,
Ronnie

Mary Magdalene Story – The Apostle They Tried to Silence
Today we’re diving into the real Mary Magdalene story. Not the repentant sinner you heard about in Sunday school, but Mary the priestess, the apostle, the mystic, and spiritual teacher who some early Christians, aka Gnostics, saw as Jesus’s equal partner in transmitting sacred wisdom.
A Divine Tale
This is a tale about divine feminine energy, suppressed teachings, and why understanding Mary’s true role might change how you see spiritual authority altogether.
So buckle up, because we’re about to uncover one of history’s greatest cover-ups.
I’ve been fascinated with the Mary Magdelene story for decades. When I first got wind of the idea that she was far more than a prostitute, I was completely hooked to learn more of her story.
Over 20 years ago I read the book The Woman with the Alabaster Jar by Margaret Starbird and absolutely loved it. She traced evidence about Mary Magdelene through history, in particular relying on art. While this may sound boring, it was actually super intriguing for me.
Years later in 2003, Dan Brown’s book The DaVinci Code was published. If you read the book or saw the movie, you know the story line is about how Jesus and Mary Magdelene had a child which is all about the blood line. Mary escaped to southern France, which I’ll talk more about in a few minutes.
The Official Mary Magdalene
Here’s what we know from the heavily edited and multiple-times translated biblical texts that made it into the official canon or what they call the Bible today:
Mary Magdalene shows up in all four gospels.
She’s there at the crucifixion when most of the male disciples had fled.
She’s there at the burial.
She’s the very first person to witness Jesus after the resurrection.
In a culture where women’s testimony wasn’t valid in court, Jesus chose a woman to be the first witness to the most important event in Christian history. The others didn’t believe her, yet the early church called her Apostola Apostolorum—the Apostle to the Apostles.
So how did she go from this central role to being remembered as a “fallen” woman?
The Great Silencing
In 591 CE, Pope Gregory the Great gave a sermon declaring that Mary Magdalene, the unnamed sinful woman who anointed Jesus’s feet, and Mary of Bethany were all the same person. That one statement recast the Apostle to the Apostles as a repentant prostitute—a label that lasted more than 1,400 years.
Modern scholarship shows these were three different women. In 1969, the Catholic Church quietly corrected the record in its revised liturgical calendar, but that’s not something you’ll often hear in a Sunday sermon.
Why merge these women into one “lowly” figure? In building a male-dominated church, stories of Jesus’s trusted female apostle—someone who received private teachings and comforted the disciples—posed a challenge to the idea that women should be silent in church.
The Lost Gospels
In 1945, the Nag Hammadi scrolls were discovered in Egypt. These ancient Christian (Gnostic) writings told a very different story about Jesus, this teachings, and hte role of Mary among other things..
The Gospel of Mary portrays her as a visionary leader. When the disciples are frozen in fear after Jesus’s death, she comforts them and reminds them of his teachings.
In this gospel, she also shares private teachings Jesus gave her alone, which infuriated Peter and made him question why Jesus would give his deepest wisdom to a woman.
The Gospel of Philip (also from Nag Hamadi) calls Mary Jesus’s “koinônos”, which is ancient Greek for “partner” or “companion,” and says he, “loved her more than all the disciples.” While this could represent the transmission of spiritual wisdom, the intimacy described is clearly special.
Some theories, like those in Margaret Starbird’s The Woman with the Alabaster Jar, suggest Mary Magdalene could have been Jesus’s wife, and represent the symbolic Holy Grail.
Starbird notes that the anointing ritual Mary did for Jesus used costly herbs and was also used as a marriage ritual at the time. So, its unlikely a poor woman would have done this.
The French Connection
Legend says that after Jesus’s death, Mary fled to southern France. In the caves of Sainte-Baume, she is said to have spent her final years in contemplation and teaching—a site still visited by pilgrims today.
Across the region, mysterious Black Madonna statues can still be found today. While officially representing the Virgin Mary, some scholars believe these statues allowed women to continue honoring Mary Magdalene in secret.
The Black Madonna embodies the sacred feminine, earth wisdom, and embodied divinity—elements the official church tried to suppress.
Mary’s Teachings
Mary’s recorded teachings focus on the soul’s journey beyond death, overcoming powers like desire, ignorance, wrath, and attachment. She wasn’t about rejecting life, but finding balance and avoiding being ruled by these forces.
She emphasized inner spiritual authority over external hierarchy. In her vision, the soul says: “I recognized myself and I gathered myself from everywhere.” Her path is about reclaiming the scattered pieces of yourself that may have been lost to relationships, jobs, expectations, or trauma. Then reintegrating these parts brings you into wholeness.
Mary also taught that the divine is not far away but within us, here and now. That’s why she could hold steady when others were afraid, because she knew fear wasn’t their deepest truth.
The Divine Feminine
Mary Magdalene represents the divine feminine, which is a way of being and not about gender. Her qualities include:
Intuitive wisdom over rigid dogma
Compassion in action over passive belief
Healing through presence, not just words
Courage to speak truth even when unwelcome
Seeing the sacred in what society rejects
She shows us how to stand in our knowing and sanctify the human experience instead of escaping it.
Why Mary Matters Now
Today, many are reclaiming spiritual authority, questioning hierarchies, and seeking direct connection to the sacred. Mary’s message is to be fully human, fully embodied, and fully alive—and to let that be your path to the divine.
She also models how to navigate spiritual communities where jealousy or doubt arise. When Peter questioned her teachings, she didn’t shrink or apologize. She spoke what she knew and let others decide for themselves.
Walking the Magdalene Path
If you feel drawn to Mary Magdalene’s energy, try:
Rose Meditation: Hold a rose or use rose oil on your heart, breathing in the scent as you imagine calling back all scattered parts of yourself.
Anointing Ritual: With olive or essential oil, anoint your hands, heart, throat, and feet to honor your work, love, truth, and path.
Inner Authority Check-In: Before seeking advice, ask yourself, “What does my deepest knowing say?”
Sacred Pilgrimage: Visit places like Sainte-Baume or local sites with strong feminine energy.
Reclaiming What Was Hidden
Mary Magdalene’s story is alive every time you speak truth despite dismissal, trust your knowing over authority, or see sacredness where others do not.
The church never erased her completely. Her beloved presence lived on through art, mystics, healers, and secret traditions. Today, she’s emerging again as the powerful, deeply loving spiritual force she always was.
Here’s something to consider – what part of your spiritual authority are you ready to reclaim? What truth is calling you to speak? This is the time for such things!
Mary’s story proves that no decree, no doctrine, no power on earth can bury the truth forever. Let’s take a page out of Mary Magdalene’s story. If her truth could survive centuries of silencing, and remain alive through whispers, legends, and hidden texts to burst into the light 2,000 years later, then yours can ripple out starting now.
Every time you speak from your heart, act from your knowing, and shine your light, you’re adding your own verse to the power of the divine feminine. This is your moment to let the world finally see who you are—because your story, like Mary’s, was never meant to be hidden.
So shine brightly, and let your light ripple across the web of life, sparking optimism, energy, and connection wherever it touches.
