Creativity Sells - Making Your Marketing Magnetic
The technicals of marketing are important, but I've always hired smarter people than me to figure that stuff out. Do you know what those people are often missing though? Creativity. Creativity is what makes marketing more effective.
It requires a marriage of a creative to understand their target market, what makes them tick, and how to get them to engage, with a technical expert that can incorporate the content and adjust based on the data.
People try to pretend that marketing is ALL ABOUT THE DATA and that all marketing decisions are based on data and numbers and research. Complete bullshit. The most successful campaigns in the world started from a great idea. Data came later.
Creativity Sells is not just a presentation at ScaleCon24, it's one of our 5 core values at MSP Camp. I believe it in my soul and it's helped me scale multiple businesses FAST. If your marketing is lacking, it's probably not because you're not technical enough. It's likely lacking the creativity to grab and hold someone's attention!

In this episode, we're throwing it back to one of Taher's presentations at ScaleCon24 - Cross Selling to Current Clients!
Adding MRR with your current client base is significantly easier than adding new MRR through new client acquisitions.
Of course, we need to do both, but how do we implement a process that gets clients excited about buying more from you without having to constantly hold meetings with them?
In this episode Taher shares the exact approach they took to add between $3,000-$5,000 MRR each quarter at Alltek Services from their current client base!

How To Raise Prices at Your MSP
We've heard it a million times.... "Raise your prices!"
People love oversimplifying something that does need to be approached thoughtfully and carefully.
Everyone screams WHAT to do, but I rarely hear HOW to do it.
In this episode, Taher outlines the specific approaches he took in the two categories of raising prices that will be covered:
Clients on legacy prices that you need to move up to current prices
Price increase for managed clients that are at current prices
This may not be the perfect solution, but it worked exceptionally well at our MSP.
In one instance, we added $8,000 in MRR in one week with no client churn.

Jeanne and David on Peer Groups and Mentorship
In this episode, I’m excited to welcome back Jeannie and David for a deep dive into one of the most critical factors in the success of any MSP: peer groups and mentorship. Over the years, these relationships have been game-changers for my own growth and the growth of countless MSPs. We explore how peer groups provide not just accountability but a space to exchange ideas, gain insights, and avoid costly mistakes by learning from others’ experiences. We talk about how mentorship, whether formal or informal, can propel you forward by giving you guidance from those who've been in your shoes.
Whether you're just starting out or running a multi-million dollar MSP, the value of a peer group or mentor can’t be overstated. It’s not just about having a network; it's about having people in your corner who push you to reach your goals and hold you accountable when things get tough.
If you're not a camper yet and want to be part of a community of like-minded MSPs, join camp at MSP Camp (msp-camp.com).
