On The Eastman Dental Podcast this week, Jocelyn (Joss) Harding joins Julia and Josh for the first episode of Series 3.Joss started her dental career in the Royal Navy at the age of 19, where she completed training and qualified as a dental hygienist. In her 9-year career, Joss served in the UK and abroad, supporting general dentists and specialists. Joss is now a clinical ambassador for the Mouth Cancer Foundation and part of the working party updating the 2021 GOV.UK DBOH guidelines in the prevention and early detection of mouth cancer. She is also a part of the United Kingdom Oral Management in Cancer care group (UKOMIC) and the World Dental Federation (FDI) consensus group. Rachel started her career as a Dental Nurse before becoming a practice manager and then deciding to re-train as a Dental Therapist. This week’s guest is Mark Price. Mark’s career in dentistry started young, with him pursuing an apprenticeship as a Dental Technician after spending many hours in a dental lab after school. Andrew Noon initially trained as a Dental Technician, working at Guy's Dental Hospital producing orthodontic appliances for 15 years. Jennie Scrace has undertaken several different roles.
