From Running Ban To Marathon Redemption with Sarah Klein
A podcast to help you Train Smarter and Race Faster. Hosted by expert Triathlon coach, Australian Ironman Champion and 15 x Aus Age group Champion Gerard Donnelly, and his son, multiple Triathlon + Cycling Aus Age Group Champion Jordy Donnelly. After representing Australia twice over two years, and preparing for what was to hopefully be her first Olympic games, Aussie marathon runner Sarah Klein was given the shock of her life when she received a letter from ASADA banning her for 4 years… After providing a clean ‘A sample’ for testing, there was a mix-up in communication between Sarah and ASADA as she didn’t provide a B sample as well, and unknowing to her resulted in an automatic 4-year ban. What followed was years of distress, fighting and having to rethink her entire running career. Like us, you will no doubt be a big fan of Sarah after listening to her story and how she got through this battle to make it back for ultimate Marathon redemption at the 2022 World Champs.
