Celebrating International Women's Day: Exploring Gender Equality and ADHD
On International Women's Day I felt it important to look back and what the ADHD Diagnosis used to look like and why boys were diagnosed more frequently. Times have changed and awareness and diganostic criteria has been positively altered to include girls and women. Boys/men are still 3xs more likely to be diagnosed that females. Today's episode talks about the the dangers of not receiving an ADHD diagnosis for women and the risks ADHD have for females in general.
