Dr. Mani Kukreja (@dr_mani.kukreja) is an MD and MPH focused on integrative wellness and lifestyle medicine. Carri works to help people with any pelvic floor dysfunction live their best life. This is brand new territory on the podcast. Unfortunately, for many topics surrounding pelvic floor health and anything related to pregnancy, there is a TON of misinformation out there. Carri broke down a lot of the common myths out there and explained how things actually work. We spoke about the function of the pelvic floor, kegels and their place in therapy, exercise considerations before, during and after pregnancy, and many signs and symptoms to look out for in your own body. Most importantly, Carri gives an amazing framework of how to think about these things for yourself. #152: JMart - Training to Run a Marathon in 2024

In this episode I’m once again joined by my friend John Martirosyan aka JMart (@jmartfit) for a chat to recap our 2023 fitness pursuits, and look ahead to our 2024 goals. At the beginning of last year we did a similar episode, and you can find that here. This year, John is planning to run a full marathon after successfully completed a half marathon last year without any injury. I’ll be looking to re-up my goals from my last year now that I’m injury free.
