060 - Ryan Swobody (4x CrossFit Games Athlete)
I was browsing Instagram a couple of months ago and saw a post from Ryan Swobody in which he was talking about the necessity of making sure we're recognizing when we're on stress and emotional overload along with the things we can do to empty that filling bucket. I knew I had to go and sit down and talk with him. In this interview we talk about mental health but we also talk a lot about human connection and the impact human connection has on our health and wellness.

059 - I Feel
Vocabulary development could potentially be as beneficial for adults as it is children. Imagine for a second if you could muster the strength to put "I Feel," before saying something. "Honey, I feel really overwhelmed and ashamed that I did that," has a lot more power (for you) than "That pisses me off!" In this episode, I discuss vocabulary development and how you can strengthen it.

058 - The Why and The Link
Why do chronic pain symptoms exist? Typically we know "What" and sometimes we know "How," but we don't really know "Why." In this episode I'm going to give you an easy technique you can start today to start finding and figuring out your "Why."
If you're listening on an Apple Device, please consider leaving a 5 Star Written Review if you like what you hear. Your review helps more people find this podcast and help more people heal from chronic pain around the world.

057 - Kevin Martillo Viner, PhD
RECOVERY STORY! I found Kevin on the TMS Wiki and had to interview him. There are so many scary diagnosis' out there and so many people claiming "my pain is real," and Kevin's story is truly remarkable: Spinal Stenosis, 4 Herniated and Ruptured Discs, Sciatica, Spondylolisthesis, Piriformis Syndrome, and Degenerative Disc Disease. All healed and pain free through TMS work and now he is out on a journey to Coach others but is also writing a book on it that is due out later this year.

053 - Michele Hinsperger
Hear how a shift in how someone thought about the root of her symptoms completely took them away. This is a powerful 70 minutes of audio gold with someone who kicked TMS' ass not once but twice. We talk through her variety of symptoms and flares, her own cure, her relapse and how she ultimately coped with the relapse and adjusted her life afterward. Truly powerful.
Books and resources mentioned in the episode include:
Brene Brown's "The Gifts of Imperfection"
Paul David's "At Last a Life"
Claire Weekes' "Help For Your Nerves"
Mastin Kipp's "Daily Love"
Mitch Albom's "The Time Keeper"

052 - Dr. Arlene Feinblatt and Dr. Eric Sherman
It's awesome having one expert who worked closely with Dr. Sarno on the show but what about TWO at the same time?! Dr. Feinblatt and Dr. Sherman sat down with me for an hour to discuss chronic pain, the psychology behind it, things you can do today to get yourself out of it, along with some fun stories of practicing and curing over the last few decades.
