066 - We Talkin' 'Bout (a daily) Practice
What does Allen Iverson have to do with chronic pain? Well... Nothing. BUT, his iconic press conference when he talked about "Practice" just kept ringing in my head when I was thinking of a title.
We learn, we learn and we learn some more. Then what? I also go through a brief synopsis of the difference between acute and chronic pain and why once you hit a certain point you are an MD's worst nightmare.

065 - Andy Bayliss
Another killer Recovery Story! I spent over an hour talking to Andy Bayliss from TMSPainRelief.com about his long, long battle with a variety of symptoms. Andy talks about how he spent over $20,000 to relieve his pain and was not far away from an operating table before being recommended Sarno's books. Andy has since gone on to coach people out of their own pain.
Please head over to Facebook and join The Mind and Fitness Podcast Deleters of Pain Group - there is a poll running right now for people wanting to engage in 1:1 Coaching with me. I am accepting applications for a very small number of clients to begin with.

063 - F*ck Positivity (Sorta)
How's that for a controversial title? 20 Minutes breaking down the walls of piling on the Positivity and why it's not helping you as much as you think. I also review the physiology behind TMS and Chronic Pain as a refresher.

061 - Steve Ozanich's Healing Checklist
I read The Great Pain Deception about a year and a half ago but only recently came across the part of Steve Ozanich's book that I feel many readers are missing. In this week's episode I go over the quintessential playbook for healing your chronic pain.

060 - Ryan Swobody (4x CrossFit Games Athlete)
I was browsing Instagram a couple of months ago and saw a post from Ryan Swobody in which he was talking about the necessity of making sure we're recognizing when we're on stress and emotional overload along with the things we can do to empty that filling bucket. I knew I had to go and sit down and talk with him. In this interview we talk about mental health but we also talk a lot about human connection and the impact human connection has on our health and wellness.

059 - I Feel
Vocabulary development could potentially be as beneficial for adults as it is children. Imagine for a second if you could muster the strength to put "I Feel," before saying something. "Honey, I feel really overwhelmed and ashamed that I did that," has a lot more power (for you) than "That pisses me off!" In this episode, I discuss vocabulary development and how you can strengthen it.

Why do chronic pain symptoms exist? Typically we know "What" and sometimes we know "How," but we don't really know "Why." In this episode I'm going to give you an easy technique you can start today to start finding and figuring out your "Why."
If you're listening on an Apple Device, please consider leaving a 5 Star Written Review if you like what you hear. Your review helps more people find this podcast and help more people heal from chronic pain around the world.

057 - Kevin Martillo Viner, PhD
RECOVERY STORY! I found Kevin on the TMS Wiki and had to interview him. There are so many scary diagnosis' out there and so many people claiming "my pain is real," and Kevin's story is truly remarkable: Spinal Stenosis, 4 Herniated and Ruptured Discs, Sciatica, Spondylolisthesis, Piriformis Syndrome, and Degenerative Disc Disease. All healed and pain free through TMS work and now he is out on a journey to Coach others but is also writing a book on it that is due out later this year.
