What's Essential: Essentialism with Greg McKeown

Hello, my name is Greg McKeown, and welcome to the Essentialism podcast! Ever since I made the mistake of leaving my hours old baby and my wife, Anna, in the hospital as I went to a non-essential client meeting, I've been on a mission: to get into conversations with the people I meet to encourage them to explore what is essential, how they can eliminate what is not, and to make it as easy as possible to do what really does matter. I've had that conversation through writing a New York Times bestselling book, Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less, through working with leaders at companies like Apple and Google, and through many interviews, including hundreds of podcasts. But now, and I am absolutely thrilled about this, I get to have that conversation directly with you on an ongoing basis for the first time! Some episodes will be a conversation directly from me to you about what I'm learning, what I'm still getting wrong, along with actionable advice for putting essentialism into practice for real. Some episodes will be conversations with people who are inspiring to me, challenging me to do better, be better. Sometimes we'll have an Ask Me Anything episode. And one day, in the future, I'll be gallivanting out on the road and we'll do some live shows together. The Essentialism podcast will launch in June, episodes will drop every Monday, and you can find me wherever you usually listen to your podcasts. So join me, subscribe right now. Find a design partner to listen with. Invite your friends, family, coworkers, everyone, because here's what I know for sure: you and I have a unique and essential mission in life. And to me, that's a conversation worth having. That conversation is essential.Produced in partnership between Greg McKeown and Wheelhouse Entertainment!Share the What’s Essential podcast with your co-workers & friends and earn rewards: https://refer.fm/essential 1 Referral - Access the exclusive "Tim Ferris" episode 3 Referrals - 21-day Challenge PDF  15 Referrals - $10 digital gift card you can use at stores like Real Simple, Container Store, etc. What's Essential Podcast Twitter: https://twitter.com/essentialismpod Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/essentialismpodcast  Greg McKeown Twitter: https://twitter.com/gregorymckeown LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/gregmckeown Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gregorymckeown/  Scratch Audiohouse Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wheelhousegroup/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/wheelhouse-group-llc/  Credits: Hosted by Greg McKeown Produced by Greg McKeown and Scratch Audiohouse Executive Produced by Greg McKeown, Avi Gandhi, Brent Montgomery, and Ed Simpson Co-Produced by Paul Dizon
