Mitolife Radio
Matt Blackburn
The mitochondria are not just the powerhouse of the cell; they are the engines that run our entire body. If we can remove the obstructions to energy production (calcification, lipofuscin and fibrosis) everything works better, we experience mental clarity and emotional resilience.

My Heavy Metal Detox Strategy
In this engaging discussion, the speaker tackles the importance of heavy metal detoxification, emphasizing its critical role in health. They delve into how car exhaust and environmental exposure contribute to metal accumulation. The biochemistry of how heavy metals damage cells is explored, along with practical detox solutions like supplementing magnesium, zinc, and shilajit. A study comparing exercise and sauna efficiency for metal excretion is discussed, as well as the effectiveness of dietary fibers as binders. Actionable steps for detoxing on various budgets make this conversation highly valuable.

Structured Water and Filtration, Finally Combined
Finally, an elegant water filter that actually filters out all contaminants and structures the water at the same time. The Mitolife EZ Flow structured water filter cleans the water in the first four stages, using a combination of a 5 micron sediment filter, KDF55, reverse osmosis, cation resin, and catalytic carbon. Inbetween those effective filtration processes the water is flowing through stages that make the water "ordered" or "coherant". This includes powerful neodynium magnets and 850 nanometer light on a hydrophilic surface, replicating the research of Dr Gerald Pollack and others on forming structured water in the laboratory. Of all the wavelengths of light, infrared light forms it the best. It also goes through elite type 1 unpolished shungite from Russia. This has never been done before in any water filter in the world. Containing 95% + carbon, it is a source of "buckminsterfullerine", or C60, an expensive supplement that people take for anti-aging and detoxification purposes. The remaining content of shungite is similar to shilajit with regards to its mineral content, so it is a natural remineralizer, even if just very small trace amounts. People in Russia have been using shungite to purify collected water in the wild since at least the 1700s, but likely much longer. There are also published studies on shungite's EMF protective effects, and we know that man-made EMFs have the ability to make water less coherant. This is my favorite part about this water filter. Wait, there's more. Then it goes through 100 to 200 vortexes right before it travels up to your spigot. Inbetween draws from the storage tank there is a large build-up of exclusion zone (EZ) water in the infrared light chamber. This is the most exciting product that I've ever released and I am excited for you to experience this water that has a gel-like thicker consistency. Why I Megadose Melatonin Every Night
The podcast dives into the fascinating benefits of megadosing melatonin, debunking common myths surrounding its use. Contrary to popular belief, melatonin has significant anti-tumor, anti-viral, and anti-anxiety properties. It’s primarily produced in mitochondria, not just the pineal gland, and surprisingly, supplementation can enhance your body's own production. Insights on melatonin's roles in EMF protection, periodontal health, and even mental health challenges make for intriguing listening. Plus, practical dosing tips and sourcing advice wrap up the discussion!

Lipofuscin: Cellular Kryptonite That Nobody Talks About
The discussion dives into the hidden threat of lipofuscin, an elusive cellular waste that disrupts autophagy and mitochondrial function. It not only clogs lysosomes but also generates harmful free radicals, raising inflammation levels. Vitamin E emerges as a powerful protector against lipofuscin's damaging effects, shielding crucial retinal cells from impairment. The link between modern lifestyle stressors, oxidative damage, and the vital balance of vitamins A and E takes center stage, while red light therapy offers hope for cellular health.

Fix Long Covid with These Supplements
In the past few weeks there has been another round of a "bug" going around here in Idaho. I started to feel symptoms but hit it hard and knocked out whatever I caught within one day. In this short episode I give a crash course on what I believe to be the most important supplements to take when you feel like you are dealing with a viral infection. I prioritize vitamin, mineral, and enzyme supplements before going to herbs, methylene blue, or antiparasitics. Vitamins and minerals are foundational and deficiencies are common. During an acute or long-term infection your burn rate of nutrients will be a lot higher so you must supplement accordingly. I talk about the importance of taking copper if you're taking zinc, the exact biochemical mechanisms how ascorbic acid works to balance the system, the lipid peroxidation and viral connection, why vitamin E is an underrated supplement, why superoxide dismutase (SOD) is so important to support during long covid, how lithium has been a known anti viral since 1980, and why melatonin should be a crucial part of your antiviral medicine cabinet.
