The manner to receive Holy Communion
It is not a mere formality the way we receive Holy Communion. It expresses our faith in the Most Holy Body and Blood our Our Lord. This is the reason why Mother Church in Her wisdom has commanded us - it is universal law - to receive Holy Communion directly on the tongue while kneeling. In this manner adoration is visible as well as humility, reproducing in our flesh the abasement of the Divine Word. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Resurrection without the Cross?
A catechesis by Fr Serafino M. Lanzetta on the Paschal Mystery - Passion, Death and Resurrection of Our Lord as one single mystery. The Cross without the Resurrection would be a sacrifice that ends with the death of Jesus - a failure of His prophecies and of His mystery as the Son of God. On the contrary, the Resurrection without the Cross would be a glory without suffering, a reward with no sacrifice, something only human. However, the current danger is to take only the Resurrection without the Cross, with all harmful consequences that it may bring about. For example, a split between a pre-Conciliar and post-Conciliar Church. The first would be the one attached to the Cross, to penance and to the rigor of doctrine. The second would instead be born of the Resurrection, of the Pentecost, the one that easily puts aside the Cross and happily moves on singing the Alleluia!Holy Communion is therefore given only to people who rigidly stand and receive it in their hand. In this logic, if one is risen doesn't kneel anymore. He only stands, without embracing the suffering of the Cross. We are affected by a "Pentecostal renewal" that hasn't produced that renovation hoped for. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Mary Mother of the Church
In this podcast Fr Serafino M. Lanzetta reflects on the Marian title "Mary Mother of the Church." In order to know why Mary is the Mother of the Church we should consider first what the Church is - the mystical Body of Christ, made by all members reborn on Calvary in the Blood of Christ. Since Our Lady participated uniquely in the work of our Redemption as the new Eve, She is in a singular way the Mother generating in Her sorrows and tears each disciple of Christ. Mother of the Church because mother generating Christians to supernatural life. Mary is even more than the Church: it is the prefiguration by Her virgnity and divine maternity, and the completion with Her Assumption body and soul into Heaven. Hosted on Acast. St Joseph of Nazareth, his greatness
In this podcast, Fr Serafino M. Lanzetta reflects on the greatness of St Joseph, starting from a Marian perspective. From his being totally united to Mary in a virginal espousal, we can also understand his being a "just man". Joseph's silence has to be discovered as a tremendous way to be always faithful to God, even when we do not understand immediately His salvific and providential plan. Hosted on Acast. St Joseph, the most perfect icon of Marian Consecration
In this podcast Fr Serafino M. Lanzetta reflects on the unique and virginal espousal of St. Joseph with Mary, the key to understanding the figure of the Carpenter of Nazareth as the first type of Marian consecration. Joseph of Nazareth comes to be known in the New Testament for his espousal relationship with Our Lady. Since this marriage was verginal, can it be read more in-depth as a way St Joseph was fully consecrated to Mary? You might also wish to read this article by Fr Serafino M. Lanzetta. Hosted on Acast. Christ has a Kingdom
In this second episode on the social kingship of Christ we reflect on the fact that if Christ is King he has then a kingdom. What is this kingdom about? Not a human realm that can be mixed up with a political power or a millenarist idea of prosperity on earth. But the way God rules over us in Christ. The Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of heaven, that Jesus brings about in his preaching, is in our midst - God is with us in Christ, His Lordship is finally visible and definitively present. The kingship of Christ has very practical consequences for the Christian life: 1) to ban relativism and syncretism - Christ is the only one; 2) to consecrate ourselves to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary in order to manifest our submission of love to the Kingdom of Christ. Christ is King
In this first episode on the social Kingship of Christ we reflect on Christ being a king for the fact that He calls Himself as such and also because He is recognized as such. His kingship is already prepared in the Old Testament and has its completion in the New Testament, especially in two key moments: the adoration of the Magi and the Process before Pilate. Christ is the King of truth, therefore His kingship is cosmic. It is founded on Christ's primacy over all things as Creator of all things, visible and invisible, and on Christ's headship over the Church, his Mystical Body redeemed by His Blood. Christ's kingship is principally spiritual but also universal and social. Nothing is outside the power of truth and love. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Serafino M. Lanzetta, Secundum Cor Mariae. Passionisti, a Roma. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
