#15: BE STRONG with Neil Allman on Program Design, Kids and Weightlifting, and Goal Setting
Neil Allman was my very first strength coach in 2010. He believed in me before I believed in myself, and mentored me through my first CrossFit Coaching position. He taught me that hard work and curiosity can get you to the goals you want to accomplish, and I consider him one of THE BEST coaches there is. Although the audio is nowhere near perfect, I hope you enjoy my episode with one of my favorite people in the world as we talk about program design, gaining weight while aiming for strength, and when to start kids weightlifting!

#14 BE NERDY with ME! Q&A on Adrenals, Keto, Carbs, and Brain Health
In preparation for my July 10th Challenge I did a shout out to my clients and asked them "WHAT DO YOU WANNA KNOW?"
Love these questions and will absolutely be doing this again!
Q: Can adrenal exhaustion be truly healed or do you live with it ? And along those lines- how do you know how much exercise is too much? I do fine for a time & then crash...
Q: What to eat when you're out to eat with friends (that don't follow the same diet you do) or on the go? (when you don't have your snacks!)
Q: I've heard lots of tips on what type of diet (keto, carb-ups, etc) is best for different workouts (crossfit vs endurance) but what about those of us who do a little of all of it?
Q: Branching off from the post above, I've had a hard time finding information on whether or not a Keto diet was healthy for someone that is already very petite (for example, I am 5'2 and 113 lbs). I'd love to try it. The benefits sound great, and let's be honest, it's the ideal foods to eat! Haha but I want to make sure that it is safe for my body type.
Q: Seeing as how gut health = mental health, any thoughts on Alzheimers?? My dad was diagnosed last year, so naturally I'm a bit freaked out and would love to have a plan for prevention.
