In this episode of the Rox Lyfe podcast, I get to chat with Meg Martin (@megsutherland) Meg recently became the HYROX Mixed Doubles world champion in her age group – along with her husband Will Martin – when they finished in a time of 54:58 in Nice. At the time that was only her second ever HYROX race. The day before we recorded this Meg also finished 2nd overall in the open in Melbourne. But not only is she an impressive athlete but at the age of 26 has already done so much. She’s set up run clubs, an apparel brand, coaching, shes done a Mega Goggins challenge, a 100 mile run, and lots more. We talk about all those things, her training, what shes been doing to improve her running so much since her first HYROX and lots more. It was a great chat with a fantastic person who is energising, inspiring and a savage of an athlete, who has her eyes set on the Elite 15, and I think you’ll really enjoy it.
