Dave Van Der Laan is a recovering attorney, retired public servant, and washed-up wedding singer. In early 2022, after a decade of legal practice, he left all of that excitement behind to become COO of Nourish House Calls, the functional medicine practice that his wife Joya started in 2018. Dave is the proud father of three children: Sophie, Jude, and Emily. When he's not parenting or working to grow Nourish House Calls, Dave enjoys reading, lifting weights, singing in church, and getting just a little too emotionally invested in the Chicago White Sox and Indiana Hoosiers.
