#161 Tony Bonvechio

In this week’s Strength Chat, I was joined by a strength and conditioning coach, powerlifter, and Co-Owner of The Strength House, Tony Bonvechio. I have followed Tony for some time now, and it’s awesome to see how successful The Strength House has become. The content that Tony and The Strength House put out there is really useful information, and you can see that with the results they’re getting with their athletes and clients. In this episode, we chatted about powerlifting, strength training, and how manage workload and finding the optimal training schedule. #160 Brandon Senn

For this week’s Strength Chat I had the pleasure of being joined by the creator of the Kabuki Strength coaching systems, with three all time world record holders and 100s of novice to intermediate success stories to his name, Brandon Senn. The knowledge and experience Brandon has surrounding strength training, as well the results he has got with his athletes, is second to none. Therefore, in this episode, we chatted about the process of exercise selection, are all exercises created equal, and the impact these have on programming. #159 Tony Ricci

In this weeks Strength Chat, I was joined by an athletic performance specialist with degrees in Sports Nutrition, Sports Science, and Sports Psychology, as well as 20 years’ experience of working with combat athletes, Tony Ricci. With experience in both the academic and practical side of athletic performance, it was great to speak with Tony about how he uses both to get the most out of his athletes. A really knowledgeable guy who you can tell has a real passion for what he does and loves to see his athletes do well. In this episode we covered how to get the most out of a session with limited time to compliment an athlete’s performance, managing an athletes training volume, as well as nutrition best practises in combat sports.
