Dave Scott (Ep 32)
Dave Scott is a 6 x Ironman World Champion. He also finished runner up at the Ironman World Championships 3 times, something that often gets forgotten about because of his 6 wins.
Dave might be best known for being one of the people involved in the famous “ironwar” where he and fellow legend Mark Allen ran side by side in an epic battle for most of the marathon at the end of the 1989 world championships - which, if you haven’t watched, do yourself a favour & go to YouTube right now.
Dave has since gone on to become one of the great coaches with names like 3 x Ironman World Champion Craig Alexander & 4 x Ironman World Champion Chrissie Wellington on his resume.

Pete Jacobs (Ep 27)
Pete Jacobs won the 2012 Ironman World Championships in one of the more dominant performances we've seen. We talk in detail about what got him there and the role finishing runner up the year before played in that. We go deep on the inner workings of a race like the world championships in a way you don't really hear much about. Pete was the favourite to win in 2012 so hearing about what he did and where his head was at in the weeks leading up to being favourite to win the word champs, what he did the night before, the morning of, seconds before the gun went off was fascinating. We then talk about what's happened since then and where he's at currently.
