Adam Yetter is an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Boise State University where in his current role, he provides day-to-day healthcare for the men’s basketball program. Prior to joining the Broncos, Yetter spent two years at Fresno State University as an intern and a graduate assistant. While at Fresno State, he worked primarily with the women’s lacrosse program and assisted with football training camps. #032 - Antonio Squillante
Antonio Squillante is a PhD student at the University of Southern California in the Department of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy. Working in the Clinical Exercise Research Center at USC his extended research focuses on weightlifting and eccentric training. In addition, Squillante is a faculty member at Setanta College teaching courses in the Master of Science program in Performance Coaching. He is also a published author for Ultimate Athlete Concepts with his book, “Power: The Training of Champions” and has written multiple articles on EliteFTS, Elite Track, and Breaking Muscle. Antonio continues to stay heavily involved in the academic side of strength & conditioning leading discussions within the growing NSCA Weightlifting SIG as their current Chair as well as teaching many CSCS prep courses in southern California. In addition to his academic work, Squillante is a coach who has experience with high school and collegiate athletes in both the U.S. and Canada. In 2016 Squillante had the privilege of coaching at the USA Track and Field Olympic Trails in Eugene, Oregon. He also not only coaches multiple athletes in both powerlifting and weightlifting, but he is also a competitive athlete in his own right. A former high school shot putter, he took a run at going professional in American football playing in Italy before moving to the States. #031 - Chris McQuilkin
Chris McQuilkin is the Director of Training and Education for Power Athlete, a worldwide strength and conditioning organization focused on empowering performance. Chris has led over 100 clinics across 16 countries spanning 6 continents introducing the Power Athlete Methodology to athletes, sports medicine professionals, performance and sport coaches. He has coached and implemented programs for tactical athletes including Naval Special Warfare and US Army XVIII Airborne Corps. Additionally he has coached collegiately at Georgetown University, Marymount University, as well as interned with the University of Texas’ football program. Chris is currently based outside Austin, Texas creating online education content and traveling to lead in-person clinics covering athleticism development, barbell training, and speed development. A former collegiate lacrosse player and 3-year team captain at Marymount University, McQuilkin is still an avid lifter and ever refining his craft to better impact the coaches and athletes he works with daily. #030 - David Manning
David Manning is the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Loyola University Men’s Lacrosse team as well as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist at Training House gym in Baltimore, MD. In addition to his coaching roles, Manning is the founder and owner of Pure Performance Lab. Originally looking to pursue a career in the medical field, Manning shifted gears and kept involved in his other passion, lacrosse, coaching for multiple programs at different capacities including at Cambridge High School, Bridgewater College, Viewpoint High School, and for the Santa Monica Dragons. While coaching lacrosse, he took up an interest in the strength and conditioning side of the game; where he finds himself presently. Manning’s coaching career is well suited for him after a highly successful collegiate career playing as a close defenseman on the Loyola University men’s lacrosse team, where he as a freshman won the 2012 Division 1 National Championship and was a team captain his senior season for a return run in the final four. Following his collegiate career, Manning was Drafted 43rd overall to the New York Lizards and has been a part of the Charlotte Hounds (2017-2018), Atlanta Blaze (2019) and the Philadelphia Barrage (2020) of Major League Lacrosse. Following his professional lacrosse career, Manning is still heavily involved in lifting, using his own training to stay healthy, apply theoretical knowledge, and test out new programs before implementing them with his athletes at the youth, high school, collegiate and professional levels. #029 - Arianna Luther
Arianna Luther is an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Miami where she leads training for the Hurricanes women’s soccer, swimming and diving, and rowing programs. Luther had previous stops as an assistant coach at the University of Nevada and a graduate assistant coach at TCU. She has also completed internships with Temple University, the University of Central Florida, Montana State University, EXOS, and Lindenwood University’s strength and conditioning departments. A former athlete on both the gymnastics and Olympic weightlifting team at Lindenwood University, Luther continues to stay heavily involved in lifting even after suffering substantial shoulder injuries. #028 - Tony Bixler
Tony Bixler is the Director of Strength, Conditioning, and Sports Performance at Newberry College. Bixler directly leads the sports performance training for the Wolves Football, Softball, Women’s Soccer, Baseball (Pitchers), and Wrestling teams after being promoted to department director in summer of 2020. Additionally, he oversees 22 teams with a staff of three assistant strength coaches. Prior to his current position, he was the Head Performance Coach for the National Men’s Rifle Team with the Chinese Olympic Committee in Beijing, China. Bixler was also a strength and conditioning coach and owner of Bixler Fitness for 8 years, in addition to simultaneously serving as a football coach and strength coach at multiple different high schools in South Carolina including Heathwood Hall Episcopal School, Richland Northeast High School, AC Flora High School, and Westwood High School. He also spent time as an intern coach at the University of South Carolina with Women’s Basketball. After undergrad Bixler began his career as a deputy sheriff and criminal investigator before shifting gears and finding himself in the coaching profession. He is an avid lifter himself and is currently competing in Olympic weightlifting in the Master’s division as a part of the Palmetto Weightlifting team. #027 - Ben Hoffman
Ben Hoffman is the Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning for Olympic Sports at the University of Maryland. At Maryland he oversees all aspects of strength and conditioning for men’s soccer and women’s tennis. In addition, Hoffman oversees and manages all athlete monitoring and sport technology operations, platforms, needs and research as well as coordinating the sport science internship program for the Maryland Olympic sports performance department. Prior to this current position, Hoffman was a sports performance coach at Georgetown University and had stops at Webber International University, Valdosta State University and the University of Houston. A four-year collegiate athlete in his own right on the Southwestern University soccer team, Hoffman now trains and competes in Olympic weightlifting. #026 - Michael Robinson
Michael Robinson is an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at California Baptist University where he oversees training for the women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, women’s water polo, men’s and women’s swim, and wrestling programs. Originally starting as a part-time coach he was promoted into full-time role in 2018. Prior to CBU, Robinson was the director of strength and conditioning and player development at Citrus College in Glendora, CA as well as the Head-Assistant men’s basketball coach. He’s also spent time as a graduate assistant in the kinesiology department at Cal Baptist and self-ran his own training business working with athletes on skill, player development and sports performance. Robinson started his college basketball career at nearby UC San Diego before transferring to finish his last two seasons at Cal Baptist. He’s found new ways to compete and is actively training and competing in triathlons and various other distanced based endurance races. #025 - Chris Cervantes
Chris Cervantes is an Assistant Director for Athletic Performance at the University of Tulsa where he works with the football team, leads the training for the Golden Hurricanes volleyball and women’s tennis programs as well as runs more of the programs sports science areas after being promoted from his internship role in 2019. Prior to his arrival at Tulsa, he spent time as an intern strength coach at the University of Texas, the University of Colorado and the University of Denver. A former college rugby athlete, Cervantes had a brief stint with a semipro club team before diving deep into heavy conjugate style training and even dabbling in a few half marathons to test his mettle. #024 - James Perez
James Perez is the Assistant Director of Football Sports Performance at Stanford University. Prior to being elevated to his current role, he had previous stops as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Fresno State University, as the Director of Athletic Performance at Sacred heart Schools in Atherton, CA, a Physical Therapy Aid at PT Northwest, as well as professional internships at both Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley. Perez was a dual sport athlete at Willamette University as a part of the baseball team for two ½ years and the football program for four years before beginning his professional career overseas in the European Football League. Perez competed in the 2011 and 2012 seasons in Finland as a triple-position threat, defensive back, wide receiver and return specialist, for the Jyvaskyla Jaguaarit.
