What Client Care Should Be - Daniel Frankel

Just Do Your F***ing Job - Nate Harvey

In this episode, I sit down with Nate Harvey. Nate and I first met at a powerlifting meet in Rochester, NY and when he was serving as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Buffalo, I’d always beg him to come and let me train in the school’s weight room to break up my 8hr drive to and from Ottawa and Pittsburgh.  We go WAY back!Nate developed his vast athletic history as the former head strength coach of Olympic sports at The State University of New York at Buffalo. During his 10 years at UB, he coached their first-ever national champion (shot put), four team conference champions (one back-to-back), eight of the school's twelve total All-Americans, 18 Olympic trial qualifiers, over 50 individual conference champions, 16 individual national qualifiers, and over 75 individual regional qualifiers using the conjugate method. He was also a strength and conditioning consultant for the New York Jets. He was certified in Reflexive Performance Reset in February 2017. His best total is 2,450 in the 308 weight class multi-ply division. In the 275-pound class, his best total is 2,250 sans supraspinatus. His best lifts are a 1,000-pound squat, a 750-pound bench, and a 750-pound deadlift. He is currently accepting online clients and doing on site consulting with high schools and college Strength and Conditioning departments. The Educated Meathead - Dr. Chris Marvin

In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Chris “Marv” Marvin.  Dr. Christopher (MARV) Marvin DC has been involved in health, wellness and fitness for over 17 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Sonoma State University and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College West in San Jose, California as class valedictorian.  Dr. Marv acquired extensive experience in the physical therapy space during his undergraduate studies, as well as in the corporate gym environment as a fitness coach and specialist. He owned and managed a private training studio, specializing in one-to-one and online training as well as writing. Dr. Marv has had 9 surgeries, multiple broken bones, muscle/ligament tears, a head injury, etc. yet has found a way to train and progress in the gym for over 17 years – even when multiple medical professionals told him he should simply give up the gym and other hobbies such as playing guitar. If you can think of a specific injury, he’s probably personally dealt with it or at least rehabbed in office. His personal story is one of the main reasons why he is so obsessed about helping folks continue to improve their quality of life and performance no matter what they are facing – primarily as a performance chiropractor, but also as an online coach and educator. Strongman, Coaching and Personal Development - Chad Coy

In this episode, I sit down with World Class Strongman Competitor and Coach, Chad Coy.  Chad is a graduate of Purdue University where he studied Ex Phys and Nutrition. He currently serves as the Director of Affiliate Development for the PARISI Speed School as well as a master coach and educator for the Network. He owns Strength Captain, an online training service focused on strongman/strongwoman.As a competitor, Chad competed in drug free powerlifting and won 2 National Championships and a World Championship before turning his attention to strongman.  He was the alternate to WSM in 2001 and captained the US team to the North American Championship as well as the All Nations Challenge in 2003.
