Do you find yourself using the, "I don't have time to eat" excuse? How about, "I'll eat something later"? Yet, you clearly have zero intent to do so...& just maybe you wind up binging later from the all day restrictive patterns.

In today's episode, I share with you the POWER of your words. If you are like most women, you have heard that the power of words can be critical when it comes to how you view your body, life, relationships, etc.
I created this podcast because I fully believe how the power of your words & thoughts lead to your ultimate identity...which is the number one reason why you may be stuck in disordered eating patterns. Ask yourself: What are you affirming? What words are you giving power too?
Reality is: You are creating your life from the words that you speak RIGHT THIS VERY MOMENT. & yes, you can indeed be FREE from your eating disorder & heal your life with through the impact of your words.
So, if you are constantly saying to yourself that you "can't gain weight", "can't have carbs", & "will never escape this nightmare". Then the truth is...you probably NEVER will.
Girl, what are you saying to yourself? Are you showing compassion through your words today? Your words hold SO MUCH power! In order to change your life, you MUST change the way you speak to yourself. Speak to yourself like you would speak to your best friend.
I hope this episode pushes you to apply CHANGE in your life today! You can use these incredible FAITH-led & Bible derived affirmations to create positive behaviors.
The future is never certain, but what is certain is words have power of life or death.

During my worst, Halloween candy & all the holiday treats gave me anxiety & pushed me back into disordered patterns multiple times. Many clients I work with find that this time of year is the hardest when navigating freedom from their eating disorder. The fear of weight gain is REAL. The binge/purge/restrict cycle is REAL. & the scariest thing is allowing yourself to have any treat at all when you have restricted yourself or viewed candy as "bad" for so very long.
But, there is HOPE! In today's show, I talk about 4 different tactics that you can leverage on Halloween or any holiday to keep you from going back to old patterns. I share with you 4 ways that helped me stay on track in my recovery journey while navigating the HARD holidays, when everything seemed to revolve around food.
My goal for this episode is that you will find peace in the day, & that you will allow yourself grace in the journey. If you are struggling with how to have a healthy balance with food & you are terrified of gaining weight, this episode will speak directly to your heart.
