Paulette Hasier - Geography and Map Division Chief at the Library of Congress

Hasier  graduated with a Ph.D. in Transatlantic History from  the University of Texas at Arlington. She previously earned a  bachelor’s degree in history from Northern Illinois University, a  master’s in history, and library science from the University of North  Texas. She worked public, academic and special libraries,  then transitioned to the private sector at the Defense Advanced  Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and lastly to the chief of the U. In addition to this role, Stephanie has over 20 years of experience in financial services operations, across learning & development, self-service strategies, customer service line leadership, and knowledge management. In her current role, Polly contributes vision and thought leadership towards information architecture development and standardization at HealthStream.  She is the knowledge expert for taxonomy creation and metadata application to business processes and is focused on growing customer and internal stakeholder satisfaction with content discovery and management using semantic technologies.
