Most people are committed to something, few are relentless about it
We just re-wrote our core value at Active Life and one of them is "Relentless commitment to the mission".
On today's episode I sit down with Cody Ringle, the Operations lead for Active Life in Long Beach, NY, to discuss the difference between commitment, and relentless commitment.

Winning the superbowl, finding God, and changing lives
I met my friend, Steve Weatherford about six years ago, right before the transformation he talks about in this podcast started taking place.
I am fascinated by people who are relentlessly committed to anything, especially things I don't understand or relate to.
Steve's life has been an absolute rollercoaster and his stories of winning the superbowl and feeling empty, and finding God and feeling full is one I'll remember for a very long time.

Pelvic floor issues with men carry shame with them, why?
Pelvic floor health is a topic that is usually reserved for discussion around women, especially postpartum, but men suffer from it too. In fact, I do.
On today's episode I sit down with our education lead at Active Life, Kalin Ashby, to discuss the build out of our specialty course for AL-P graduates, "pelvic health".
There was no intention to talk about my personal issues, but we ended up there, and I'm glad we did. It made for a great show!

The expression of art through fitness and apparel - Christian Harris
Christian Harris is an artist. He paints with heavy weights and iconic brand instead of a brush and canvas.
What happens when the life of an athlete comes to an end and the life of an entrepreneur is born? What's the transition like from sport to professional life?
I talk to Chris about all of this and more on today's show.

Stop working on your weaknesses, lean into your strengths
Reveal the exceptional in everyone we come across. It's a core value at Active Life.
Something I've learned over the years is that if I want to develop myself as a person, I need to spend 90% of my time and energy focusing on my strengths. If I want to develop my body, I need to spend 90% of my time and energy focusing on my weaknesses.
On today's podcast Cody and I discuss the value of revealing the exceptional of everyone we come across. We talk about what it means, how to do it, and we even discuss doing it for you.
If you want to talk to me about learning about working with our team to help you achieve your goals, please find me on instagram at @drseanpastuch, send me a DM, let's connect.

Why it's so uncomfortable when people have to ask their husband's permission to sign up for things
It's the worst. "Let me ask my husband" or "let me ask my wife".
I've been there. I've been in the relationship phase with my wife in which we used to ask each other permission to do things for ourselves that we absolutely needed and were absolutely convicted would be beneficial to us.
It was an indicator of immaturity, and financial scarcity.
On today's episode Cody and I discuss the reasons why this happens, what to do about it, and why one of our core values indicates that we have no choice but to do it well.
If you enjoyed the show, please head to the show's main page and show us some love with a 5 star rating.
