Stop working on your weaknesses, lean into your strengths
Reveal the exceptional in everyone we come across. It's a core value at Active Life.
Something I've learned over the years is that if I want to develop myself as a person, I need to spend 90% of my time and energy focusing on my strengths. If I want to develop my body, I need to spend 90% of my time and energy focusing on my weaknesses.
On today's podcast Cody and I discuss the value of revealing the exceptional of everyone we come across. We talk about what it means, how to do it, and we even discuss doing it for you.
If you want to talk to me about learning about working with our team to help you achieve your goals, please find me on instagram at @drseanpastuch, send me a DM, let's connect.

Why it's so uncomfortable when people have to ask their husband's permission to sign up for things
It's the worst. "Let me ask my husband" or "let me ask my wife".
I've been there. I've been in the relationship phase with my wife in which we used to ask each other permission to do things for ourselves that we absolutely needed and were absolutely convicted would be beneficial to us.
It was an indicator of immaturity, and financial scarcity.
On today's episode Cody and I discuss the reasons why this happens, what to do about it, and why one of our core values indicates that we have no choice but to do it well.

How do we fix the American Education system? Jim Hallinan
The American education system is failing America. It's sit down, shut up, change rooms when the bell rings, and memorize the answers to these questions.
Similarly, it's become harder to navigate the world of relationships, and nutrition.
Today's guest, Jim Hallinan (@jimmynutrition) lives in both of these worlds, professionally. He's a physical education teacher who does more than rolling the balls out, and he's a nutrition coach who not only helps adults lose weight and repair their relationship with food, but he built a curriculum that now gets delivered in his high school.

You need to know this about health insurance
Health insurance companies are necessary, but their incentives are not aligned with yours.
You may think health insurance companies want to bring their medical costs down, to maximize profits. What you're going to learn today is why that's simply not true. In fact, it's counter to what health insurance companies want.
I'll break it all down, all you need to do is sit back, listen, and take personal responsibility for your health and fitness from here out.

How to gain wealth by giving - Ep 232 | Charles Weinraub
Some of the most successful people in history became successful not by pursuing success for themselves, but by pursuing it for others.
Charles Weinraub (@handsome_homebuyer) is cut from this cloth.
On today's episode Charles breaks down how he went from burnt out entrepreneur to Long Island's biggest home flipper, and landlord.
I've known Charles almost a decade and he's one of the most inspirational people I have the pleasure of being around. All he does is give, give, give. He's generous as they get, and his success is most definitely a result of that.
Charles gets vulnerable on the show today, he shares some of his darkest moments and discusses how they worked to propel him forward.
This one will get your year started right.

100%
That's the rate of growth, no pun intended.

When people pay you compliments, ask them "why"?
It's hard to take compliments. Not only do we need to take them more often, we need to dig for more from people to learn why they gave them to us in the first place.
If this already feels uncomfortable, go ahead and buckle up before you push play.
Below is the post I talk about in the episode:
