Elizabeth made Renee's Cranberry Glazed Turkey Meatloaf for the holidays, and Renee has far too many blog desserts, including some ridiculously large mint brownies.Then we get into the nitty gritty, how to deal with racist relatives or friends. Elizabeth shares her experience as a mixed race person growing up in a white family and community. Renee and Louise discuss white privilege and systemic racism. We grapple with the subtle nuances of what it means to be a person of color in the world today and how we can bring more love into the world.Then Louise is releasing all negativity from 2021, Elizabeth is trying to let go of society's expectations to have a spotless house, and Renee isn't listening to so-called experts anymore. Then Elizabeth makes everyone blush by saying nice things about Renee and Louise. Renee is using leftover mash to make Spicy Potato Cakes and making maybe the best bread ever, Gorgonzola Focaccia. Then they're talking all about celebrating Yule. From the Sun King to the Yule Boar, they're chatting about all the Pagan stuff we thought was Christmasy but actually has much more ancient roots. Christmas trees, anyone? They'll share all the fun and festive ways you can celebrate the winter solstice.Louise is letting go of trying to seek a slightly better situation that doesn't necessarily align with her true purpose, and Renee is ready to release annoying transportation issues.
