The MOVEMENT Movement
Steven Sashen
Welcome to The MOVEMENT Movement -- the podcast for people who want the TRUTH about having a healthy, happy, strong body.
We'll be breaking through the mythology, confusion and sometimes outright lies about what it takes to walk, run, hike, do yoga, paddle board, lift... or whatever you do. I'm here to help you do it better and have more fun.
It's called The MOVEMENT Movement because We're creating a movement. Making natural movement to the obvious choice the way natural FOOD is currently.

Episode 26: So you think you know how to walk?
We all know how to walk, right? I mean, you know, one foot in front of the other. We've been doing this since we were babies. What's the big deal? Maybe we don't know how to walk as well as we could, or as well as you think you are. We all know how to walk, right? I mean, you know, one foot in front of the other. We've been doing this since we were babies. What's the big deal? Maybe we don't know how to walk as well as we could, or as well as you think you are. Here's a couple of weird questions; Can you walk for hours without a problem? Like many hours? Many, many miles without a problem? When you do walk, what muscles feel like they are being used? Is it your butt, your hamstrings, or is it maybe your hip flexors and your calves? Maybe it's in your feet at the end of the long walk. Do your feet hurt? Can you walk for a long time barefoot? Can you walk for a long time in shoes? These are all important questions that we're going to dive into in today's episode of The MOVEMENT Movement podcast. Thank you for being part of The MOVEMENT Movement and for joining us on this podcast. If you have any questions, you can send an email to move@jointhemovementmovement.com or go to our website -jointhemovementmovement.com to find all the previous podcasts and ways to engage with us. Get the link mentioned in the podcast - Because walking isn't just walking. Episode 25: Discover your REAL 'Sixth Sense' - Balance
You think you have five senses. I'm not even going to list them, because I can't remember what the hell they are. But maybe you have a sixth sense, and I don't mean ESP, that if you don't master and develop and practice could really impact your life in a very, very negative way. And we're going to find out more about that on today's episode of The MOVEMENT Movement podcast. Today I am talking to Jim Klopman, who has developed methods and systems and patents and equipment to improve athletic balance and athletic balances. Something far beyond what you get at physical therapy. Most balance training stops at physical therapy, Jim takes you all the way up to the Cirque du Soleil level, and finds that there's a direct correlation to balance, athletic performance, coordination and agility. And he's pretty convinced now that as you improve your balance, you also improve your vision. If you have any questions, suggestions or know of anybody you think should be on the show, just drop an email to move@jointhemovementmovement.com. Please subscribe and join the tribe, and remember to live life feet first.
