031 | SID GARZA-HILLMAN
Today’s WWRadio guest Sid Garza-Hillman, the Small Step Advocate, is the author of Approaching the Natural: A Health Manifesto, and host of the popular Approaching the Natural Podcast. After graduating from UCLA with a B.A. in Philosophy, Sid was a working musician and actor when his interest in nutrition began. Sid is now a well-known Certified Nutritionist and Weight Management Coach. He works with private clients all over the country and teaches nutrition and healthy living classes to children and adults through his practice Transitioning to Health. He is also the Staff Nutritionist and Programs Director at the Mendocino Center for Living Well located at the Stanford Inn Eco-resort in Mendocino, California.
In today’s super inspirational conversation, we get into everything from how paleo and vegan diets have the same end goal, how design is part of wellness, how being happy is the most crucial part of overall health, how exercise has to be fun or it’s counterproductive, how small steps are the catalyst for major change, and much more!
My favorite lines & nuggets of wisdom: YEP THEY’RE TWEETABLES…Just click right on ‘em!
“In most situations there isn’t even a choice, there’s just the pain of doing what you want.”
“Being happy is natural & if it makes you happy it’s an appropriate thing to do.”
“Think of exercise as movement, it can be as easy as one minute of dancing.”
TIP: To get started on a healthy path just start with a glass of water in the morning. It doesn’t have to be complicated at all. You can build from there, if a diet or plan starts to stress you out then it’s counter-productive.
It’s the same thing with exercise, when you get in touch with who you really are you’ll know what exercise feels good for you. Exercise by doing the things you enjoyed as a child, you don’t need to join a gym to be healthy.

029 | RONNIE LANDIS
Today’s WWRadio features Ronnie Landis - nutritionist, author, speaker, and health expert. Ronnie goes into neuro degenerative conditions such as MS, including the most important natural things people can do to naturally prevent and treat them. We also get into top-line ideas on how to be the best in your niche and how to get started with a healthy practice. Listen and be prepared to be deeply inspired by Ronnie in the fun and super informative interview.
If you want to be successful in what you’re doing, you’ve got to figure out how you can get ahead of all of the peek performers in your niche.
My favorite lines & nuggets of wisdom: YEP THEY’RE TWEETABLES…Just click right on ‘em!
“Getting started can be as simple as taking a walk or breathing deeply.”@RonLandis via #WWRadio w/ @katiedalebout
“Nutrition is a supplement for the vision of your life.” @RonLandis via #WWRadio w/@katiedalebout
“The rituals in our lives create our health.” @RonLandis via #WWRadio w/@katiedalebout
“The way we make any actions stick is directly related to repetition.”@RonLandis via #WWRadio w/ @katiedalebout
“80% of the info we take in is visual, so be aware of that when you consume information.” @RonLandis via #WWRadio w/ @katiedalebout
TIPS: To be successful go to sleep early and wake up early. Ronnie says he goes to bed anywhere between 7:00p to 9:00pm and wakes up at 4:00am every morning. This gives him a jump start on the day and he has 4 hours extra than most people.
To get started with health, practice subtraction by addition. Adding in something good will naturally subtract the bad things. The good stuff will crowd out the not so good stuff. Just add in as much plant food a day and develop disciplines that will construct the vision of your life.

TIP: One tip that Christine gave that really stuck out to me and I’ve been using is this: when you first wake up in the morning think of one thing you’re excited for that day and let it catapult you out of bed. It can be as simple as your tea or a hot shower or your outfit or an activity you have going that day. Let that be the first thing you focus on to get out of bed for. Think about what is is the night before.

026 | Happy Holidays Audio Workshop!
As promised, here’s the audio of my Putting The HAPPY back into the Holiday Season Workshop. As I explain in the recording, this workshop is adapted from a rad live in-person workshop I gave at my local yoga studio. After promoting that workshop on my blog I received many requests from people all over to be able to participate via live stream. With that, I revamped the workshop and was set to livestream it Sunday night. In the most humbling way, major technical difficulties prevented it from happening (thank you again to all who were there waiting for me Sunday night).
During that sticky situation I felt sad, embarrassed, and grateful all at the same time, then instantly decided to practice what I was planning to preach that night & use it as an opportunity to pivot and Put The Happy Back Into The Situation. Throughout the week as I prepared this audio or video, it became clear to me exactly why my Sunday evening debacle occurred. This workshop was never meant to be live. The content translates better into a pause-able, listen on-the-go, again and again, on your own time, in your own space type of platform and the one I love best: a podcast. Now you can take your time with this workshop, and go in deep to each of the meditations, exercises and tools included.
Now this audio recording has longevity and can be used to help all of us forever stay HAPPY & in Wonderland throughout any holiday.
I learned more than simply how to properly use YouTube Livestream – I discovered that when things don’t go your way, even if you’re positive that your plan is best, there’s a plan far greater than your own.
I hope you enjoy Putting The Happy Back Into The Holiday Season this year. And now that you have the tools, have a truly HAPPY holiday season.
Adore you all,
Katie

Today’s WWRadio features Daniel Vitalis, world-renowned health, nutrition, and personal development strategist & founder of the amazing company Surthrival. He’s a trailblazer who has helped shape the face of natural health and wellness. Today many health advocates are either knowing or unknowingly sharing ideas that Daniel pioneered.
In this episode Daniel explains how to go beyond just trying to “survive”, and into how we can truly “thrive” in our modern society. If you slow down you will have a better experience by actually tasting your food, but also eat less because when everyone else is on their second or third plate you will still be on your first.

024 | DR. JOEL KAHN
Today’s episode of WWRadio features our guest the holistic Dr. Joel Kahn. A Detroit native, Dr. Kahn is a nationally known speaker and author of the forthcoming book, The Holistic Heart Book. He is a leader in not only the local, but the national wellness community. His work includes transforming the food within the healthcare system, starting with hospitals to reflect foods that will actually aid patients in their healing rather than hinder it.
He firmly believes in the concept of “prevent not stint” and practices preventative medicine with his practice and to all that he teaches. Dr. Kahn is an Interpreventional Cardiologist – meaning he treats his patients with a blend of traditional cardiology (AKA stents) as well as preventive cardiology (AKA diet and exercise and meditation.) It’s this rare blend that makes Dr. Kahn super cool. You’ll love this conversation where we cover everything from diet to exercise to gluten to his personal routines and advice for getting started on a healthy plant-based lifestyle. 022 | DROUGHT
Today’s episode of WWRadio is super rad! There’s not just one guest – today we’ve got a crew. I’m super excited to have the masterminds behind my favorite local company DROUGHT here talking about everything from positive thinking, health, juicing and entrepreneurship. Their story is remarkable and their passion for their business is contagious. My favorite thing about their company and brand is that they won’t ever compromise their ingredients, standards or integrity for anything. You’ll hear **all-about-it **(listen to the episode to know why this is bold), but just to give you an idea about how cool they are, here’s a little bit about them:
DROUGHT is a subculture of healthful living created by five sisters who are masters of extracting abundance from simplicity. The idea evolved from a collective longing for accessible, fresh raw juice — the need for a permanent oasis to rehydrate and revitalize. DROUGHT’s mission is to help others find treasure in the ordinary.
How cool, right? I can’t wait for you to meet them, so click the link below and have fun listening to our fun conversation.
