032 | TARA STILES

Today’s WWRadio guest, Tara Stiles, has been my idol since I started practicing yoga in a high school gym class. She inspired me to take my yoga practice off of the mat, taught me that yoga was for everyone, and inspired me to become a teacher. Through her yoga  videos, easy yet creative recipes, books, dvds, and support she has been like a yoga big sister and friend to me. A fellow Midwesterner, I connect with her so deeply and I know you will too. In today’s conversation we get into everything from her early ballet and modeling career, how she found yoga, how she started her own business, and advice for yogis and entrepreneurs. She explains how yoga can be effective for weight-loss as well as so many concepts on how to find the ease in your life. She so smart, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth. My favorite lines & nuggets of wisdom: YEP THEY’RE TWEETABLES…Just click right on ‘em! “Just bend your knees anyone can touch their toes.” “Yoga’s not about being flexible, it’s about making space for yourself.” “Trusting your intuition will lead to a healthy capable life.” “Yoga exists in all of us why do we need to look the same way when we do it?” TIP: In regards to relationships, when working with your partner be sure to define clear roles. Know who is doing what and what you are each comfortable with. Learn that as women become the powerful business people it is okay for you to have your smart guy there in a supporting role. If you’re going to work together, still act like a company and define clear roles and turn it off at night. It’s important to set priorities especially when you’re so passionate about your business. 031 | SID GARZA-HILLMAN

Today’s WWRadio guest Sid Garza-Hillman, the Small Step Advocate, is the author of Approaching the Natural: A Health Manifesto, and host of the popular Approaching the Natural Podcast. After graduating from UCLA with a B.A. in Philosophy, Sid was a working  musician and  actor when his interest in nutrition began. Sid is now a well-known Certified Nutritionist and Weight Management Coach. He works with private clients all over the country and teaches nutrition and healthy living classes to children and adults through his practice Transitioning to Health. He is also the Staff Nutritionist and Programs Director at the Mendocino Center for Living Well located at the Stanford Inn Eco-resort in Mendocino, California. In today’s super inspirational conversation, we get into everything from how paleo and vegan diets have the same end goal, how design is part of wellness, how being happy is the most crucial part of overall health, how exercise has to be fun or it’s counterproductive, how small steps are the catalyst for major change, and much more! My favorite lines & nuggets of wisdom: YEP THEY’RE TWEETABLES…Just click right on ‘em! “In most situations there isn’t even a choice, there’s just the pain of doing what you want.” “Being happy is natural & if it makes you happy it’s an appropriate thing to do.” “Think of exercise as movement, it can be as easy as one minute of dancing.”  TIP: To get started on a healthy path just start with a glass of water in the morning. It doesn’t have to be complicated at all. You can build from there, if a diet or plan starts to stress you out then it’s counter-productive. It’s the same thing with exercise, when you get in touch with who you really are you’ll know what exercise feels good for you. Exercise by doing the things you enjoyed as a child, you don’t need to join a gym to be healthy. Links we mention: Grab Sid’s book Approaching The Natural  Check out Sid’s podcast on iTunes! 029 | RONNIE LANDIS

Today’s  WWRadio features Ronnie Landis - nutritionist, author, speaker, and health expert. Ronnie goes into neuro degenerative conditions such as MS, including the most important natural things people can do to naturally prevent and treat them. We also get into top-line ideas on how to be the best in your niche and how to get started with a healthy practice. Listen and be prepared to be deeply inspired by Ronnie in the fun and super informative interview. If you want to be successful in what you’re doing, you’ve got to figure out how you can get ahead of all of the peek performers in your niche. My favorite lines & nuggets of wisdom: YEP THEY’RE TWEETABLES…Just click right on ‘em! “Getting started can be as simple as taking a walk or breathing deeply.”@RonLandis via #WWRadio w/ @katiedalebout “Nutrition is a supplement for the vision of your life.” @RonLandis via #WWRadio w/@katiedalebout “The rituals in our lives create our health.” @RonLandis via #WWRadio w/@katiedalebout “The way we make any actions stick is directly related to repetition.”@RonLandis via #WWRadio w/ @katiedalebout “80% of the info we take in is visual, so be aware of that when you consume information.” @RonLandis via #WWRadio w/ @katiedalebout TIPS: To be successful go to sleep early and wake up early. Ronnie says he goes to bed anywhere between 7:00p to 9:00pm and wakes up at 4:00am every morning. This gives him a jump start on the day and he has 4 hours extra than most people. To get started with health, practice subtraction by addition. Adding in something good will naturally subtract the bad things. The good stuff will crowd out the not so good stuff. Just add in as much plant food a day and develop disciplines that will construct the vision of your life. Links we mention: Check out Ronnie’s forthcoming book  here!
