Ep6: John Mason - Quality and assurance systems and how they can add value to your business
Welcome to Business Minds, a podcast proudly brought to you by the Sydney Hills Business Chamber.
Our show aims to both educate and inspire business owners – big or small – by sharing stories, and extensive experience from like-minded people.
I am your host, Jason Owen and today I am chatting with John Mason about Quality and Assurance systems and how they can add value to your business.
As the author of 2 books with nearly 30 plus years in business, John developed his own 24/7 virtual quality management platform. He has a 100% certification first-time track record and a client list including Comsol, Data Tools, Sydney Hills Business Chamber, Volkswagen, Monash University and Hyundai.
They are one of only a few Quality Assurance providers to be quality, environmental, safety and information security certified themselves.
For John, it's all about providing solutions that are easy to implement and maintain whilst meeting your compliance needs.
Questions:
How do you, as a business owner, see the value in attaining that level of compliance?
Getting business’s to engage with the process of compliance is one thing, but getting them to maintain that effort can require a change in culture. How do we as business’s owners ensure we get that buy-in across the whole business?
People have preconceived ideas about how things work or how they will play out. This generally ends with a, ‘that's the way we have always done it’ comment. Tell me, how do you crack that psyche or deadlock?
