Brian Nguyen has had a very unique and successful career in the fitness and performance industry. After graduating from UCLA where he studied Sports Medicine, he went on to become an assistant athletic trainer with the Jacksonville Jaguars and then became the head trainer and strength coach for the Los Angeles Avengers in the Arena Football League. Switching paths into the fitness world, Brian started BRIK Fitness in Redondo Beach, CA and began to build a celebrity clientele that has included big names from Mark Wahlberg, Amy Adams, Anthony Mackie, Mila Kunis to Will Farrell. Dr. Brandon Marcello holds a PhD in sports nutrition from Baylor University, and a MS and BS in Exercise Science from Marshall University. He is a recognized author, researcher, and international presenter, he routinely speaks around the world on a number of topics pertaining to elite-level performance. His work appears regularly in numerous journals, textbooks, and periodicals. For the last 25 years, Dr. Marcello has worked with some of the most high-level individuals and organizations in human performance in the world, starting back to his time as a Performance Specialist at the International Performance Institute (IPI) of the IMG Academies in Bradenton, Fla. From there he joined Mark Verstegen in 1999 out in Tempe, Ariz. to help create EXOS (formerly Athletes’ Performance (AP)), a world-class training facility for professional and elite athletes.   Since then he has also served as a consultant with Draper Laboratories for the U.S. Military and Special Forces, many Division-I programs, International Sports Federations, as well and Adidas, Under Armor and Nike. Kevin graduated from Purdue University in 1984, and received his Masters degree from Indiana University in 1995. He has received his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credentials through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is also the Co-Founder of the National High School Strength Coaches Association (NHSSCA). Coach Vanderbush has received five different national award including the National High School Strength Coaches Association (NHSSCA) Hall of Fame, the American Football Monthly’s Samson High School Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year, the NSCA – High School Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year Award, the AFLAC – National Assistant Coach of the Year Award and the Professional Football Strength and Conditioning Coaches Society – National High School Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year Award. Coach Vanderbush is in his 40th year as the strength and conditioning coach for all sports at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, IN. Eric Cressey is president and co-founder of Cressey Sports Performance, with facilities located in Hudson, MA and Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Eric is perhaps best known for his extensive work with baseball players, and his role with the New York Yankees organization as Director of Player Health and Performance. An accomplished author, Cressey has authored over 500 published articles and has been featured in such local and national publications as Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, ESPN, T-Muscle, Yahoo Sports, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Baseball America, The Worcester Telegram, Perform Better, Oxygen, Experience Life, Triathlete Magazine, Collegiate Baseball, Active.com, The Metrowest Daily News, Parents and Kids, and EliteFTS. Eric has published five books and co-created four DVD sets that have been sold in over 60 countries around the world. Eric has been an invited guest speaker in six countries and over 20 U.S. states. He serves on the advisory boards for both the IYCA and Precision Nutrition, and is a baseball consultant to New Balance. He also served as the strength and conditioning coach to the USA Baseball Under-18 National Team that won the gold medal at the 2015 World Cup in Osaka, Japan. As a competitive powerlifter, Eric holds several state, national, and world records. Podcast 053 – Unbreakable Strength with Dr. Mike Hartle

Dr. Mike Hartle is not only a chiropractic physician, but he is also a board- certified Clinical Nutritionist (DACBN), a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), an Active Release Technique (ART) provider since 1995, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He is also a Master StrongFirst Certified Instructor with StrongFirst (StrongFirst.com). He is the co- developer of the StrongFirst SFL Barbell Certification. Dr. Michael travels around the USA and the world teaching barbell and kettlebell certifications. He is currently in his second year of getting his Ph.D. in Exercise Science. A former nationally-ranked powerlifter, who has won several national titles with USA Powerlifting, Dr. Michael was the Vice President for 2 years in addition to being the Drug Testing Chairman for 5 years. He was also the Chairman of the Sports Medicine Committee of USA Powerlifting (USAPL) for over 20 years, a committee he created in 1994 with USAPL. Starting in 1998, he was the Head Coach of the USAPL World Bench Press Team for 8 years, coaching the US Team to the 2004 International Powerlifting Federation World Championship Team Title. His best competition lifts are 705 lb. squat, 535 lb. bench press and 635 lb. deadlift with a best combined total of the three lifts of 1,840 lbs. in the former 275 lb. weight class. For the next 10 years, he was playing semi-pro football, defensive tackle, and loving it! Tony is a regular on the speaking circuit in the US and internationally, with recent presentations made in Dubai, Italy, France, Germany, Holland and Japan. He is the Founder and Director of Performance at Frozen Ropes, a US based company that offers coaching support to amateur athletes and coaches.
