Michael Mullin is a clinically-based athletic trainer with over 30 years of experience in training and rehabilitation. He is the Owner/Clinician of Integrative Rehab Training LLC and sees clients out of a studio at his home in Cumberland Center, ME. He is an NATA Certified Athletic Trainer and a registered Physical Therapy Assistant in California. He is on the adjunct faculty at the University of New England teaching in the Master’s Program for Athletic Training and is a Certified Clinician through the Postural Restoration Institute. Michael specializes in the treatment, rehabilitation and training of individuals and has worked with all levels of athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL teams, the US Ski Team, Top Ten PGA golfers and gold medal Olympic athletes. Podcast 063 – Business Models for Fitness Professionals with Michael Campanella

Michael Campanella was an All-New England sprinter in High School and College. While in College, Mike realized that his team strength & conditioning program was sub-par, so he and his co-Captain basically re- wrote their program, sparking his passion for fitness. At the time, he was an American Studies major at Trinity College and was going to go to law school and while studying for his LSATs, took a part-time job at Train Boston, where he met Mike Perry, and fell in love with personal training. Much to his parents’ dismay, he decided to stick with it as a full-time career. Mike was also competitive in the MMA world and fought 19 times in 4 years, but kind of burnt out. Dr. Meghan Helwig is a sought out Doctor of Physical Therapy in Southern California. She started Primal Strength Physical Therapy on the east coast and then packed up to follow her dream to live and practice on the west coast. Dr. Meghan Helwig graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UMDNJ. A native of Morris County, NJ, Dr. Helwig earned a finance degree from Villanova University where she was the starting goalie all 4 years for the Div. I Big East Field Hockey Team. While working in NYC Meghan started to go to PT for an injury sustained while training for a half ironman triathlon. This is where her passion for PT was born. Dr. Helwig made the career change in 2006 to pursue something she loved. Being an athlete her entire life Dr. Helwig has that competitive mindset and understands the demands on the body. Dr. Brandon Marcello holds a PhD in sports nutrition from Baylor University, and a MS and BS in Exercise Science from Marshall University. He is a recognized author, researcher, and international presenter, he routinely speaks around the world on a number of topics pertaining to elite-level performance. His work appears regularly in numerous journals, textbooks, and periodicals. For the last 25 years, Dr. Marcello has worked with some of the most high-level individuals and organizations in human performance in the world, starting back to his time as a Performance Specialist at the International Performance Institute (IPI) of the IMG Academies in Bradenton, Fla. From there he joined Mark Verstegen in 1999 out in Tempe, Ariz. to help create EXOS (formerly Athletes’ Performance (AP)), a world-class training facility for professional and elite athletes.   Since then he has also served as a consultant with Draper Laboratories for the U.S. Military and Special Forces, many Division-I programs, International Sports Federations, as well and Adidas, Under Armor and Nike.
