277. Raj Jana: Releasing Repressed Anger

Over the last several years, I’ve spent a lot of time learning how to feel several uncomfortable emotions like sadness, grief, and shame. But anger is another story. I’ve always had a hard time connecting to my anger, and I know I’m not alone. Most of us are not taught how to deal with anger in the moments we feel it because of all the conditioning and “rules” we have around expressing anger. As a result, it just gets stored in the body and fuels reactive behaviors and emotional triggers. These emotional triggers don’t fully stop occurring until you release what’s been buried in the unconscious mind for years, some decades.March was a profound month of learning to release repressed anger that never fully got felt growing up. I had a few profound healing experiences and enlightening conversations led to some significant breakthroughs in my emotional well-being. Thank you all for being. I’m beyond grateful that I get to share this journey with you all. Love you guys! If you have a moment, please leave the podcast a review on whichever platform you listen on. This episode is with my soul sister and dear friend, Lindsay Sukornyk. Lindsay is a TEDx speaker, transformational leadership coach for game changers, mama of 4, and one of the most inspiring souls I know. Her depth and willingness to navigate the edges of her psyche is one of my favorite things about her. In this deep dive conversation recorded LIVE in Nosara, Lindsay and I discuss using parts therapy to practice self love, learning to parent yourself as a form of self therapy, and how awareness is THE most powerful medicine of all. It was an incredibly enlightening conversation that left me nourished from the inside out. I hope you guys enjoy listening to this one as much as I did recording.Disclaimer: The content of this podcast is not intended to replace professional mental health support. 271. Raj Jana: You Can’t Miss What Is Meant For You

How do you navigate life when your reality doesn’t align with your expectations? February was a month of deep and difficult reflection for me. I found myself revisiting the topic of attachments and expectations - in business, health, and relationships. In many ways, I’ve been battling with myself as I cultivate the courage to stay connected to the magic of the moment instead of dwelling on the unmet desires of my ego. I think this is a common dilemma. What does it mean when we don’t manifest what we think we want? Maybe it’s an invitation to look for grace and fall deeper into faith. Because what if the true reality is that you can’t miss what is meant for you? As usual, I’m joined by your old friend Georgina El Morshdy in this reflection episode. Tune in now to hear us explore: Why reflection has the power to create meaning. Why meaning ignites a natural source of energy that makes life interesting. The difference between goals and expectations. The art of staying connected to the magic of the moment. Suffering as a choice. How to use love as a disruptive force in the universe. Why reflection helps us integrate life experiences and philosophical concepts. And more…A request.
