The time I spent with him as he launched his book, You Are Enough - Revealing the Soul to Discover Your Power, Potential, and Possibility, changed my life profoundly. 257. Loka Pandya: How To Connect With Childlike Joy

256. Raj Jana: Surrendering To A Vision Bigger Than You

“Your intimate relationship is the most profound mirror for you to actually connect to that foundation of love within yourself.” The last time I recorded a reflection episode was at the end of August - just after returning from Burning Man. As an experiment, I decided to wait a couple of months before publicly reflecting again. It’s been interesting to see the arc of change over a two-month window - proof that many shifts can happen when you move through life consciously and with vulnerability and authenticity. I often remind myself that I’m the common denominator in all areas of my life. How I show up in one context impacts how I show up in others. In this episode, you’ll hear how I’ve used my relationship and creativity as dojos - places to practice peeling off masks and connecting more intimately with the authentic me. I’ve also been exploring the power of surrendering to a vision bigger than myself - a practice vastly different from how I used to operate in business. These intentions became catalysts for a lot of growth, as you’ll hear in the episode. As always, I hope that this episode will inspire a practice of reflection in your life. Reflection can be a superpower because the more we know our authentic selves, the more we can navigate fear, manage adversity, regulate our nervous system and step into the greatest forms of love we were born to express. “What's actually required is healing ourselves and liberating ourselves from these conditions that have kept us trapped in this old way of doing that isn't actually serving the planet, it's not serving our relationships, it's not serving our health.”Key takeaways:Learning to show up imperfectly. Overcoming my fear of being seen to fail. Speaking on the same stage as Dr. Joe Dispenza. Creating from a place of collaboration over competition. Turning away from ME projects into WE projects. Leveraging vulnerability as a tool for healing Humans are inherently goodHaving the courage to take off your mask. The desire to know who you really are. Contact Info:Raj’s contact details. 255. Andrew Kroeze: Intentional Rituals For Sustaining Energy

“I master my fate and captain my soul… I need to take radical responsibility for my life. I can create anything that I want out of my life.” Like many entrepreneurs, Andrew Kroeze achieved massive success through the hustle-and-grind culture only to find the tactic wasn’t sustainable. After experiencing burnout, Andrew had no choice but to reinvent himself. But the changes didn’t fully stick. The next time he crashed, Andrew woke up in a hospital bed. This time, Andrew knew he needed to make more permanent changes to his life and business. He craved something simpler, so he sold his company, retreated to an ashram, and reset his nervous system. Through this experience, Andrew decided to become a “master of his fate.” In practice, this looked like embedding energy rituals, systems, and habits into his routine so he could alchemize time into the life his soul wanted. Andrew’s willingness to hold himself accountable to his life blueprint inspires me. The degree of ownership Andrew commands over his psychological & physiological state is a potent reminder of the creative power of discipline when it’s harnessed in the direction of alignment and authenticity. In his work, Andrew is committed to sharing his secrets of success with others. Through his Masters of Fate brotherhood, Andrew empowers men to master themselves first and then business. “Our core beliefs anchor our thoughts, our energy rituals anchor our emotions, and then our time design or our calendar anchors our actions.” Key takeaways:How entrepreneurship can be a catalyst for a spiritual journey. Retreating to a monastery to reset my nervous system. Letting go of deeply rooted core beliefs that don’t serve. Intentional rituals for sustaining energy. Developing processes as an accountability tool. Using time blocking to design his calendar.Planning hacks for designing your life. Using pre-commitments to establish helpful habits. Contact Info:https://www.instagram.com/kaptainkroezehttps://www.facebook.com/andrew.kroeze.50https://start.masteringfate.com/bro53711418We thrive on your feedback, so if you’ve enjoyed this show, please rate us and leave us a review. 254. Jayson Gaignard: The Impact of Leading with Vulnerability

“Vulnerability to me is an expensive gift, and you shouldn't expect it from cheap people.”“I mean, the quality of your life comes down to the quality of relationships. If you want good quality relationships, you have to be able to embrace vulnerability and that uncertainty sometimes.”Jayson Gaignard is a rare breed of entrepreneurial leader because of his willingness to be visible when vulnerable. The old way to succeed was to wear a mask and pretend to have it all figured out. Jayson challenges that paradigm and proves how being vulnerable with others about your struggles, hardships, and even failures can lead to greater levels of impact in a world hungry for connection & belonging.  Named one of Forbes’s “Top Networkers to Watch” because of his ability to curate highly coveted events, Jayson is the founder of Mastermind Talks - an exclusive community that serves as a container of support, inspiration, and deep belonging for entrepreneurs who value impact and collaboration alongside business. Jayson has been featured in the likes of Entrepreneur, Lifehacker, and Tim Ferriss’s Tools of Titans. Jayson believes entrepreneurs are “community made” rather than self-made. But what does it take to be a person who can guide, support, and empower others? In this episode, Jayson discusses some of the teachers who have taught him on his journey. Teachers include his daughter, who Jayson explains pulls him into his highest expression, as well as the power of vulnerability to encourage self-love and celebrate your unique beauty while honoring others. Jayson is a man who cares deeply about people and the land while doing his best. As you’ll hear in this episode, when people are mission-driven, they can sometimes be clouded in doubt. This conversation is a beautiful example of what’s possible when you leverage community and vulnerability as mirrors for your highest expression. Key takeaways:The quality of your relationships is indicative of the quality of your leadership. How tormentors can become mentors. Exploring the mirrors of your relationships. An artist who uses business as a canvas. Leveraging empathy as an edge. Finding purpose. Reclaiming the freedom we lost. How Jayson models self-love to his daughter. The pattern of being hard on yourself. Allowing yourself to know you are enough and you’ve done enough. The art of shifting from DOing to BEing. And more…Contact Info:Check out Mastermind Talks >>> https://www.mmt.communityhttps://www.facebook.com/JaysonGaignardWe thrive on your feedback, so if you’ve enjoyed this show, please rate us and leave us a review. 253. Dr. Joanna LaPrade: Understanding Yourself Through Archetypes

“ I think our culture has tricked ourselves into thinking there are cute things that we can do that will make us automatically on the other side of the doorway, and there isn't. You have to walk through the doorway.” Although darkness is an inevitable aspect of life, our culture offers few pathways through it. In many ways, modern life has distanced itself from indigenous rituals that have been used for thousands of years to provide clarity & direction. As a result, many people lose their footing and struggle to make sense of life’s darkest moments. As a Jungian psychotherapist, Dr. Joanna LaPrade believes mythology can offer a roadmap for all of us to experience the fullness of our human potential. When you study myths and explore the similarities between your life and that of the Gods and heroes of the many worlds, you might find that we’re not that different. In every mythic tale lies a story of how life’s challenges and discomforts are here to reveal more of who you are. In her work, Joanna empowers people to cultivate self-awareness by deepening their connection with their inner world. She takes an archetypal perspective, leaning on mythology and symbolism to help people navigate their underworld. Joanna is the founder of Aion Psychotherapy, an educator, and the author of Forged In Darkness. The Many Paths To Personal Transformation. “There's no one size fits all for experiencing the darkness in life. We really think we limit ourselves in our own capacity to access what could make change in us by telling ourselves, yeah, there's one way, and it needs to look this way, and you better do it quickly.” Key takeaways:Defining darkness. The power of pulling from mythology. Understanding who we are through archetypes. Finding the myths that are true for you. Why Joanna started to unpack the hero archetype. Integrating mythology & archetypes into your inner work journey. What is heroism and why do we think about it so singularly? And more…Contact Info:Website: https://aionpsychotherapy.comBook: https://www.amazon.com/Dr.-Joanna-LaPrade/e/B09ZQ7CR9S%3Fref=dbs_a_mng_rwt_scns_shareWe thrive on your feedback, so if you’ve enjoyed this show, please rate us and leave us a review. 252. Gina Worful: Releasing The Shame Around Your Emotions

“Doing the work is the journey of questioning. Once you question and you become aware, it's making choices.” Over the last four years, I’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and thousands of hours on my inner work journey. I chose to turn myself into my own research project, and this time in my life has been a period of massive growth, reflection, and expansion. In this episode, I’ve paired up with my beautiful life partner Gina to open up about the rock bottom experiences that brought us to our knees, and how we used those experiences as catalysts to shift the way we lived our lives. The journey of increasing awareness is potent, powerful, and profound. Eventually, you uncover the underlying factors that are unconsciously creating your reality. It’s the work that returns you to your personal power. It’s a rich inquiry that elevates your ability to choose differently and shift the course of your life for good.I hope this week’s episode is a glimpse of the ecstatic level of fulfillment possible when you choose to face your fears and lean into the wisdom of what wants to be shown.“Underneath those symptoms there are unresolved feelings. There's trapped energy in the body, there are beliefs, there's unconscious programming that is not in alignment with what you consciously want.”Key takeaways:Why hormonal imbalance became a gateway for Gina to go inwards. When stress-relieving techniques aren’t effectiveWe’ve normalized living with chronic stress. How compartmentalizing is a coping strategy. Looking inward to discover hidden beliefs. The ego death from coming clean to my exWhy the secret to healing is to understand your nervous system responses. Creating the space for a proactive response. The liberation that comes from looking at discomfort. Information about a LIVE group healing experience. And more… If you’re interested in being supported by myself and a team of veterans as you learn to do the inner work in a safe community setting, join our October Cohort of Precision Emotional Healing.Head to www.liber8.health/We thrive on your feedback, so if you’ve enjoyed this show, please rate us and leave us a review. 251. Mike Cline & Emily Rasowsky: The Power of Healing In Community

“We can learn something from everyone. Mirrors exist everywhere. All of nature is contained in the fractal pattern of a single leaf or a single feed” About 4 years into my personal growth journey, it became clear that there was only so much inner work I could do on my own. My solo efforts often gave me a breakthrough, but my deepest inner work always came when engaging in community. Community-based healing is THE most powerful catalyst and an accelerant for personal growth because of the abundance of mirrors. When you’re surrounded by others, it’s harder to hide your flaws. When you’re surrounded by tribe, you begin the journey of seeing yourself the way others see you. When you’re healing alongside others, there’s more opportunities to find your blindspots and reveal the places where there’s more work to be done. In this episode, I’m joined by my partners at the Humans Are Good Foundation, Mike Cline & Emily Rasowsky. Together, we’ve pooled our resources, skills, and healing experiences to share a framework for going inward that’s rooted in science and steeped in community support. In this episode, Emily & Mike share their own paths to liberation, and together, share the impact community based healing has had on our own livesBe sure to listen to the end where we discuss how you can access a framework to help you heal your deepest core wounds in a community setting.“There are certain types of unprocessed emotional data in our nervous system that is not accessible when you're just doing solo work.” Key takeaways:How we realized we needed community support to take our healing journey to the next level. Everyone is a representation of each other. Uncovering the unprocessed emotional data bound in our nervous systems. Community gives us access to different examples and role models of what’s possible. The concept of psychological safety and how it helps us heal. Unsafe vs uncomfortable (and learning to distinguish between the two). You are your own greatest research project. How early childhood experiences shape our present-day stressors and challenges. The link between self-forgiveness and liberation. As a collective, we don’t have the time for lengthy, expensive healing journeys. On October 5th, I will be teaching a live masterclass about a data-driven, community-based approach to doing inner work that’s designed to help you accelerate breakthroughs in your mental & emotional well-being. Visit www.rajjana.com/masterclass to join Hosted on Acast. 250. Raj Jana: My Eight Year Journey To Self Love & Liberation

“Even though on paper I had all the markings of someone successful, I didn't feel it. That really confused me.” As a 250th episode special, I wanted to share all the lessons I’ve learned from investing multi-six figures and thousands of hours into my personal journey to create a life of alignment and liberation that I feel so grateful to be living today. When I started this podcast, I had no idea about the journey I was about to take. The journey to internal liberation isn’t easy. My life has changed entirely since releasing my first episode in 2017, but the path to this point has been riddled with the most extreme highs and lows. The game of BEING is confusing because it’s filled with guesswork, detours, and setbacks. But hindsight brings clarity. As I reflect over the past eight years (and the thousands of dollars and hours I invested), I’m clear on what worked and what didn’t. I’m now confident about what levers to pull and where to focus my time, energy, and resources so I can keep experiencing unshakeable confidence, freedom, clarity, and self-love. No one should have to invest as much as I have into healing our minds, bodies, and souls in order to experience wholeness. I believe it’s our birthright to feel good about who we are. We shouldn’t be living in a constant state of anxiety or fear. We should be learning how our nervous systems are wired from an early age so we can properly tend to it as we grow through life. It’s why I’ve decided to share my journey so far with you -- with no stones left unturned – so that you can see how a dedication to the “inner work” can lead to permanent shifts in your mental & emotional well-being.“The game of doing is very different from the game of being. Doing is about achievement, external validation, and making strides and progress in the world. The game of being is about the journey to your enoughness. It's the journey of self-love.”Key takeaways:How a book transformed my perspective of what’s possible. My quest to seek missing feelings through entrepreneurship - only to fall short of what I wanted. How a drive to infuse meaning & purpose into my side hustle birthed Stay Grounded. Forcing change through the game of DOing. External success will only take you so far. You’ll eventually hit a wall. Opening to my emotions through plant medicine. Breaking open to build myself up. Discovering what’s under the hood. Moving into the realm of root cause exploration. Differentiating between MY vision for my life and the vision that others had for my life. Unlocking mirror work through community-based healing. My Journey groups. Working with hypnotherapist Grace Smith. Ending a nine-year relationship and confronting uncomfortable truths about myself. Inner work has the answers, but it’s hard, expensive, and time-consuming. Inner work shouldn’t be for the privileged few with resources. It should be accessible and effective for EVERYONE. And that's what I'm excited to share with you all.On October 5th, I will be doing a teaching a live masterclass about a data-driven, heart-centered, and personalized approach to the inner work that removes confusion from the process altogether.
