285. Raj Jana: Mastering The Game Of Awakening

What’s been true in my life is that when I declare something to the Universe, the Universe tests me. June has been a wild testing ground for growth, healing, and expansion as I followed through on my commitment to investing in 100 days of Raj. The month has been a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences as I’ve navigated my relationship transition alongside some really big business challenges. As always, I’ve stayed true to my desire for reflection, which means I’ve been able to extract some powerful insights. And I’m excited to share them with you in this episode. Tune in now and hear Georgina and I explore: The power of choosing to believe that your story is still being written. My process for asking questions that get to the core of who you are and what you actually desire. Learning to distinguish between intuition and fearWhat happened when I created a contract with Spirit. Specific ways that June taught me to deepen my faith in God. Disciplines for bringing you back on track when you fall into an unhelpful spiral. The subtle but significant difference between freedom and liberation. How I learned that I’m unconditionally deserving of love. The power of spiritual forgiveness. And more…It’s not always easy to keep your heart open through challenges, disappointments, and pain. What I’ve discovered is that there is ALWAYS wisdom in your present moment experience. Cultivate the courage to be fully with yourself -- in all the emotions of the present -- and once you’ve processed the feelings, you’ll arrive in the realm of insight, intuition, and clarity. I’m learning that I can hold more of life than I ever thought possible, and that’s making me stronger, surer, and more loving of myself. I hope that by sharing what’s working in the trenches of my life, you find something that can inspire your own journey. It’s why I keep showing up month after month and why I’m so grateful for you.  Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

284. Ron Baker: Unraveling Your Soul’s Curriculum

This is a re-release of an episode with one of my favorite human beings on the planet. I’m currently re-reading his book and the wisdom shared in this episode is timely for myself.“When we begin to understand that our challenges are there to point us in certain directions so that we will focus on those specific things in our lifetime, then it's exactly what we need to be working on.” Ron was one of the first teachers that taught me to go within for the answers, the awareness, and the healing. His impact on me was profound. In this conversation, we explore the intense wisdom that your soul’s curriculum has as you navigate this incarnation on earth. Tune in now to hear Ron and I explore: Understanding the concept of a soul emergence. What self-care is and what it isn’t. How to know what’s your truth. The concept of: Do unto yourself what you would do to others. Using breath to release stored emotion safely.Claiming self as the main prize.Ron’s experience of doing an audible recording of his book. And more… There’s so much freedom in discovering what our souls are here to experience. There’s so much peace in understanding that our wounding is here to help us learn specific lessons to expand and evolve us. In this beautiful episode, Ron helps us remember the depth of truth that can be found inside. After all, when we know it’s there, we feel compelled to go and find it.Contact Info:Check out Ron’s site - https://www.ronbaker.netGet Ron’s book on Amazon - Bright Lights, Big Empty. We thrive on your feedback, so if you’ve enjoyed this show, please rate us and leave us a review. I’m a massive advocate for leaning into your family and intimate relationships as catalysts for rapid transformation and growth. One of the most profound months of growth I have ever experienced. There is so much going on in my life right now, and as usual, you get a front row seat in this month’s reflection episode. Tune in now to hear Georgina and I explore: What’s possible when you choose to close one chapter of a relationship with love to intentionally create space for the nextThe power of keeping your heart open when it feels safer (or easier) to close. The 100 days of Raj challengeGiving your shame and other “prickly” emotions the space to breatheWhy mastering your interpersonal relationships begins with a commitment to self How expressing your vulnerability gives others permission to do the same Communicating your needs to others in a loving way that invites collaboration How creating a personal manifesto serves as an essential grounding tool to carry you through challenging momentsAnd more…It’s not always easy to live our truth when we’re afraid of how we will be received by others, but if embraced, I’ve found that vulnerability and authenticity can offer so much freedom. 282. Bailee Buckendorf: Softening Into Adversity

When confronted with adversity, it is natural to tense up and resist what is happening. But what if there’s a more intuitive approach to managing adverse life experiences that leaves you feeling emotionally resilient, connected to forces unseen, and held by the graceful hands of life? Bailee Buckedorff’s life turned upside down when she lost her husband to suicide and was left to tend to her 3 young children on her own. Shortly afterwards, she “fell” into an opportunity to learn from and be held by Guru Singh, a celebrated 3rd generation yogi and master spiritual teacher. Fast forward 4 years, Bailee is now the founder of 13 Moons - an online community that showcases a library of Guru Signh’s teachings and provides tools like guided meditations and kundalini to help you stay grounded through a daily spiritual practice. This podcast is the story of a woman who has allowed herself to be led by spirit through the darkest of times. She fell into entrepreneurship through seemingly divine orchestration, by listening to what wants to happen and acting in the direction of what she hears. We discuss the power of slowing down in times of adversity, using reflection as a tool for growth, and the power of operating in life through the lens of your unique design. 280. Raj Jana: Quieting Your Inner Critic

I’ve known for a while that April would be a big month. Earlier in the year, I booked an 8-day ayahuasca retreat with 21 other men. This is the most nights I’ve sat in a ceremony, and the first with a group of men. I spent the first three weeks of April prepping for the event. It was important to me to get clarity on the intentions I wanted to take into ceremony. The retreat was an invitation to explore what’s been hiding in my shadow - the source of my greatest fears and my greatest potential. It’s been a long road to get to this point in my life, but something inside me knew it was time to ask myself the bold questions that I was afraid to know the answers to.What resulted was the most transformative journey I’ve ever experienced. I found the root of my inner critic, and replaced the critical voice in my head with that of a compassionate guide. My relationship with myself has shifted entirely. More than that, I now understand what it means to love myself fully - and it’s changing how I show up in every single area of my life. I share many more details and takeaways in the episode, including: Using feelings in the body as a gateway to healingRecognizing and communicating with the different voices within Cultivating compassion for the protective mechanisms that cause pain. The power of seeing others as a mirror. What’s possible when you feel trapped emotions. Honoring the commitments I make with myself. And more…Thank you all for giving me the gift of your attention. I hope you enjoy this month’s reflection episode.P.S. If you have a moment, please leave the podcast a review on whichever platform you listen on. 277. Raj Jana: Releasing Repressed Anger

Over the last several years, I’ve spent a lot of time learning how to feel several uncomfortable emotions like sadness, grief, and shame. But anger is another story. I’ve always had a hard time connecting to my anger, and I know I’m not alone. Most of us are not taught how to deal with anger in the moments we feel it because of all the conditioning and “rules” we have around expressing anger. As a result, it just gets stored in the body and fuels reactive behaviors and emotional triggers. These emotional triggers don’t fully stop occurring until you release what’s been buried in the unconscious mind for years, some decades.March was a profound month of learning to release repressed anger that never fully got felt growing up. I had a few profound healing experiences and enlightening conversations led to some significant breakthroughs in my emotional well-being. Thank you all for being. I’m beyond grateful that I get to share this journey with you all. Love you guys! If you have a moment, please leave the podcast a review on whichever platform you listen on.
