Groups of three in the enneagram.
One of the most interesting elements of the enneagram are the different groupings of three. Today we are going to go over six groups of three. This can be helpful for several reasons 1. It can deepen your growth 2. It can deepen your understanding of self 3. It can help you to understand why certain types that seem like opposites may sometimes seem like one another. The groups of three we’re discussing today are:
The Hornevian Triad
The Harmonic Groups
The three centers of intelligence
Three subtypes
The harmony triads or the object relations triad ( not to be confused with the harmonic groups )

This week I’ve been thinking about building a trusting relationship to our bodies. Trusting our bodies is an important aspect of self-care and overall well-being. Yet so many elements of society are training us to do the opposite:
Diet culture and societal beauty standards. - A literal multi-billion dollar industry that profits off of your lack of self-trust.
Our healthcare system - focuses so much on treating symptoms that we struggle to get diagnosed and healed.
Purity culture - many of us are trained from a very young age to despise one of the most elemental things about being a person and having a body.
