My Healing Journey & Life Changing Retreat Experience | Giselle T Morgan
#234 Wellness retreats aren't a particularly new phenomenon, but in recent years, the concept has definitely evolved. What was once solely about a few spa treatments and a bit of yoga has grown into a diverse retreat offering all over the globe, with specialist retreats catering to all of modern life's trials and tribulations. If a tricky period in your life has you considering taking a wellness holiday to a healing retreat, or you're simply desperate for a stress-free reset, you're probably curious to know what the real benefits of wellness retreats are. Luckily for you, there are many, and in this episode, my guest, Giselle T. Morgan, will share how attending a Live in Flow retreat set her on a trajectory that changed her life forever. Live in Flow retreats combine the aspects of travel and a healing process. The idea is to allow the body and mind to focus on something other than the pursuits of daily life, to take in a slice of nature and to recuperate your mind, body and soul. Giselle's life is super inspiring to say the least. She grew up in a Hippy lifestyle where she was exposed to diverse forms of spirituality and cultures despite also being a Catholic. She sort of lost herself in her 20s but later got a chance to travel to Thailand where she took a deep dive into Buddhism which helped her grow spiritually. Then came 2013 when an aneurysm had her unconscious in a private hospital where she underwent neurosurgery for 7.5 hours. Long story short, she still has to deal with the effect of the aneurysm to date and has gone through so many difficult challenges in her life, from losing her property to wildfire to getting into a horrific accident. Her healing journey will not only inspire you but also demonstrate just how life changing attending a Live in Flow retreat can be for you. Tune in for more! Kundalini Awakening: The Path To Radical Freedom | Lawrence Edwards
#233 Sooner or later on the spiritual awakening journey, we all taste the mysterious and intense kundalini energy. It might be smooth and subtle, or intense and explosive, but whatever the case, kundalini is a primal force of awakening. In fact, sometimes people can experience full-blown kundalini awakenings spontaneously without any prior experience (or interest) in spiritual growth or transformation. Kundalini is identified by traditions worldwide as a key to the most profoundly transformative experiences we can have, yet if we don't know what's going on or how to deal with it, a Kundalini awakening can be challenging and confusing. This is what I learned when from recording this episode with highly respected Kundalini expert and researcher, Dr. Lawrence Edwards. His life long passion to know that Truth of the inner life brings a deeply steeped background in science to a profound inner mystical experience. He chronicles the awakening, unfoldment, and integration of the underlying power of the Universe, the Kundalini Shakti, in his book, "Awakening Kundalini: The Path to Radical Freedom" His profound experience of the Divine present in everyone, at all times, and in all places has lead him to a life of service in teaching and supporting others on their journeys into the Divine. Tune in to our remarkable conversation as Lawrence shares the understanding and insights that have been revealed to him in this ever-deepening process of self realization. We will discuss his own experiences with kundalini energy, the subtle body, and the kind of transformation that is possible with kundalini awakening. Lawrence will share some of the many ways Kundalini can be experienced and explain how it serves the larger purpose of our own ultimate freedom, how to avoid common pitfalls in the Kundalini awakening process, and what the role of our ego mind is in a Kundalini awakening. About Lawrence: Lawrence Edwards is a neurotherapist, psychotherapist, and an expert in Kundalini Awakening, our innate power of Consciousness that creates the highest order of transformation and revelation. This power is the foundation of all yogic, mantra and meditation practices. Lawrence is regarded by many as a modern mystic known for his love of the Divine. He is unusual in this field because he has a deep grounding in both Eastern and Western traditions, and applies them both to his work with Kundalini. His personal, direct, life-long experience of the extraordinary power and grace of Kundalini are reflected in his writings, teaching and poetry. His experiences began early in life and he says Kundalini's grace continues to be the essence of his life. Lawrence is the president of The Kundalini Research Network, as well as the founder of a Kundalini support website, KundaliniSupport.org. He is the founder and director of the Anam Cara Foundation and a contributing author to the Sounds True anthology Kundalini Rising: Exploring the Energy of Awakening. He is the author of the critically acclaimed book on Kundalini, The Soul's Journey: Guidance From The Divine Within and Kali's Bazaar. He leads retreats on the Mysteries of the Divine Feminine and Awakening Kundalini. Key Points Discussed: Kundalini Awakening: The Path To Radical Freedom (00:00) The journey to fulfilling his passion for transformation (00:21) Seeing the Lady of Light at 4 years old, other divine experiences, and mastering Kundalini (07:26) Why he was able to witness and connect with the divine consciousness since he was a child (15:00) Understanding the soul and its purpose (17:20) Kundalini: The foundation of our existence (23:40) Experiencing your Kundalini Awakening without fear (27:28) The flowering of grace that is tapping into the treasure within (32:29) Creating change in the world by finding who you really are (42:40) How to practice Kundalini meditation (46:37) Waking up to the fact that you're always in the divine's embrace (51:07) Mentioned in this episode: The Soul's Journey By Lawrence Edwards How to Contact Lawrence Edwards: Twitter - twitter.com/MeditationDoc Website - www.thesoulsjourney.com About me:My Instagram: www.instagram.com/guyhlawrence/?hl=en Guy's websites:www.guylawrence.com.au www.liveinflow.co

Understanding Our Relationship with Money, Abundance & True Wealth | Jason Whitton
#232 People have their own concepts and opinions about money, riches and wealth. Early perceptions come from observations of parents' relationships to money. In school years, folks learn to mentally separate the "rich kids" from the "not-so-rich," all while measuring where they fit into the picture. The media continues to feed our concepts of wealth and money by endlessly focusing on that which divides our society, whether in terms of politics or economics. Being too wealthy equates to being out of touch; being too poor equates to wanting a free handout. Both camps are missing the point. The terms money and wealth may appear to mean the same thing. But while many people emphasize the importance of having an abundance of money, few understand the meaning of true wealth. Wealth is a state of mind. Wealthy people always have enough. In this episode, Jason Whitton, the CEO of Positive Real Estate Group, will help us understand that true wealth is having a sense of abundance, one that we experience rather than possess. Obviously, having enough money to provide a roof over our heads, secure sufficient food and clothing and other basic essentials, and raise healthy and happy families frees us from a lot of anxiety. What Jason considers as wealth has nothing to do with money. He says seeking true wealth may mean seeking deeper relationships, more personal growth, or ways to create more meaning in life. A list of true wealth assets would likely include family, friends, education, talents, experience, connection to community, self-esteem, the ability to help others, and good health (with some luck and good sense). All of these wealth assets contribute to an overall personal sense of well-being. It also includes the ability to earn more money and use some of that money to positively impact the world. Enjoy the conversation. About Jason: From a small town boy growing up in the remote outback of rural Queensland, to becoming the founder of Australasia's most powerful property wealth creation engine – Positive Real Estate Group CEO Jason Whitton is on a mission to change the way we look at wealth. With over 20 years' experience in the real estate industry, in which his company has closed over 10,000 property deals, coached 7500 clients, and generated a combined property clientele equity of over 5.1 billion dollars – Jason has never been more dedicated to sharing his knowledge and wisdom to help people on their path to wealth creation. However, the father-of-three, and husband to beautiful wife Shay Whitton, never set out to achieve real estate dominance or teach wealth strategy. In fact, it wasn't until Jason had been in the Australian Airforce and then pursued his dream of becoming a teacher, that he stumbled upon real estate as a potent formula for financial growth after he read Robert Kiyosaki's book Rich Dad Poor Dad. Jason became fascinated with its powerful, yet straight-forward concepts around wealth creation, and decided to leave the safety of his stable teaching job to pursue a more ambitious career in real estate. The stakes were high, the road was rocky, and the journey did not unfold without risks and some pretty hefty pitfalls. From learning the ropes as a self-made buyer's agent, to immersing himself in property development, to business deals gone bad. There were losses but most importantly, there was learning. And for someone who has spent at least half-a-million-dollars in personal development, those lessons for Jason have been invaluable. In fact, they ultimately enabled the entrepreneur, along with Shay, Sam Saggers and their business partners and team of leading property experts, to revolutionise the real estate education industry, and transform thousands of people's perception of what they thought was possible for their own ability to create long-lasting wealth. In 2003 Positive Real Estate was born, and now the company operates across three countries in Australia, New Zealand and Manilla, managing a group portfolio of brands that includes property management, finance, real estate sales and of course, Jason's first love – education. Still central to his core DNA, teaching is at the heart of what Jason loves to do, and now he spends much of his time mentoring his team leaders to help their teams and clients succeed. This passion for teaching has transpired in many ways throughout Jason's life, with the property guru responsible for building 17 schools across Nepal, Vietnam, Laos and Fiji where 6000 kids get to go to school and receive an education every day. As a busy family man who runs a diverse network of thriving businesses, Jason is now setting out on another adventurous undertaking – The Wealth Faculty. In this ground-breaking and inspiring podcast series, Jason embarks on a journey to discover the true meaning of wealth, by interviewing world-renowned leaders and wealth champions who have achieved extraordinary levels of abundance. Some of whom are the very experts and advisors that have impacted and contributed to Jason's success as a property investor and coach. Emotional Pain Cannot Kill You, But Running From It Can | Petra Brzovic & Guy Lawrence
#231 Adverse experiences and trauma in childhood live with us, resulting in whole body dysfunction, activating harmful stress responses that keep us stuck engaging in patterns of codependency, emotional immaturity, and trauma bonds. Unless addressed, these self-sabotaging behaviors can quickly become cyclical, leaving people feeling unhappy, unfulfilled, and unwell. The same applies to the painful experiences we go through in life. Vironika Tugaleva said, "Emotional pain cannot kill you, but running from it can. Allow. Embrace. Let yourself feel. Let yourself heal". In this episode, I'll have a very candid conversation about that with the incredible Petra Brzović, an intuitive therapist with a strong background in many disciplines in which she is certified. Petra conducts workshops and seminars all over the world, as a result of her long-standing experience in working as a therapist and a yoga teacher. They are a fusion of various healing techniques making them unique, intuitive and liberating. As master trainer and instructor, Petra is training and teaching therapists around the world, helping them learn how to help others heal. She also actively participates at Body & Mind conferences, seminars and trainings, follows the latest research in the field of medicine of the mind and body, and passionately researches the consciousness, correlation between brain, body and soul with an international team of scientists and doctors. Petra and I will apply the observations we've made at our Live in Flow retreats to discuss the problem most people have in doing the work necessary to achieve healing. Healing can only come from looking at our challenges and pain in a new way. When we allow ourselves to fully experience painful or uncomfortable feelings, we are doing work. Sitting with our feelings instead of disengaging or distracting ourselves is work. When we understand the true nature of our work, we can summon compassion for ourselves as we move through our uncomfortable feelings on the path to healing, peace, and wholeness. Join us as we dive deeper into that and I promise you that it will change your life forever. Enjoy! About Petra Brzovic: Petra Brzovic is a certified transpersonal and clinical hypnotherapist, regression and Past life regression therapist, Life between Lives therapist, yoga teacher and aromatherapist. She conducts workshops and seminars all over the world, as a result of her long-standing experience in working as a therapist and a yoga teacher, they are a fusion of various healing techniques making them unique, intuitive and liberating. As Master Trainer and Instructor, Petra is training and teaching therapists around the world, helping them learn how to help others heal. If you feel called to join this path feel free to contact us regarding future trainings. She also actively participates at Body & Mind conferences, seminars and trainings, follows the latest research in the field of medicine of the mind and body, and passionately researches the consciousness, correlation between brain, body and soul with an international team of scientists and doctors. Key Points Discussed: Emotional Pain Cannot Kill You, But Running From It Can (00:00) The surrealness of attending the Live in Flow retreat and witnessing people healing (01:11) Why the journey of healing becomes so difficult for most of us (06:41) Taking action NOW towards creating a new life. (11:28) Tipping points that led her into the path of healing that changed her life for the better (14:18) Embracing your fears and trusting the universe. Searching For Spiritual Meaning | Neale Donald Walsch
#230 It's easy to be confused about our life's purpose by all the negative and disheartening news from around the world. It's also easy to mistake the idea that we've reached our peak evolution through humanity's rapid technological advancements. For thousands of years, humanity has fought over who and what God is. But what if it's none of that, and our beliefs about God are creating the chaos and suffering we're seeing in the world today. In this fascinating episode, bestselling author, Neale Donald Walsch will help us remember the fundamentals. It's important to look at your own skills, talents, and experiences and trust that the divine has plans to put them to use in a way that will serve a higher good, as it did with Neale. Interestingly, right before his book, Conversations with God, sold millions of copies, Neale's life was certainly not a bestseller, as it was falling apart. He had been laid off, had major marriage issues, and suffered health problems that all led to him living on the sidewalk for an entire year (you read that right). It wasn't until a miracle part-time job that he started to regain some semblance of a life with shelter, food, and a little bit of money. It was during this time that he started venting his anger to God in written form. In pure anger and frustration, he asked questions like "Why me?" and "What do you want from me? What does it take to make life work?" Then something incredible happened, Neale heard a voice that jokingly said, "Do you really want the answers?" From then on, he took dictation and wrote down what he was hearing, and started a paper dialogue. The rest is publishing history. Neale will graciously teach us how we can flourish as we live the human experience through our divine connection with God. He will demonstrate how we can find our way back to our soul connection, and tune into the infinite intelligence that will ground us and move us toward love and fearless living. It's a gift to share this interview, and I hope it brings you increased peace, spiritual connection, compassion, and awareness of who you really are. About Neale Donald Walsch: Neale Donald Walsch is a modern day spiritual messenger whose words continue to touch the world in profound ways. With an early interest in religion and a deeply felt connection to spirituality, Neale spent the majority of his life thriving professionally, yet searching for spiritual meaning before experiencing his now famous conversation with God. The Conversations with God series of books that emerged from those encounters has been translated into 37 languages, touching millions and inspiring important changes in their day-to-day lives. Neale has written 39 books on spirituality and its practical application in everyday life. Titles in the With God series include: Conversations with God, Books 1-3; Friendship with God; Communion with God; The New Revelations; Tomorrow's God; What God Wants; and Home with God. Seven of the books in that series reached the New York Times Bestseller List, CWG-Book 1 occupying that list for over two-and-a-half years. His most recent books are When Everything Changes Change Everything (2010), The Storm Before the Calm (2011), The Only Thing That Matters (2012), What God Said (2013), GOD'S MESSAGE TO THE WORLD: You've God Me All Wrong (2014), and Conversations with God: Awaken the Species (Book 4) (2017). His newest book is The God Solution, was published in December, 2020 by Phoenix Books. Conversations with God has redefined God and shifted spiritual paradigms around the globe. In order to deal with the enormous response to his writings, Neale has created several outreach projects, including the CWG Foundation, CWG for Parents, Humanity's Team, the CWG Helping Outreach, and The Global Conversation --- all accessible at the "hub" website www.CWGPortal.com, and all dedicated to help the world move from violence to peace, from confusion to clarity, and from anger to love. Neale's work has taken him from the steps of Macchu Picchu in Peru to the steps of the Shinto shrines of Japan, from Red Square in Moscow to St. Peters Square in Vatican City to Tiananmen Square in China. And everywhere he has gone, from South Africa to Norway, Croatia to The Netherlands, the streets of Zurich to the streets of Seoul, Neale has experienced a hunger among the people to find a new way to live, at last, in peace and harmony, and he has sought to bring people a new understanding of life and of God which would allow them to experience that. Key Points Discussed: Searching For Spiritual Meaning (00:00) The desire that drives him to tirelessly help people globally. (00:04) Defining God: How Neale describes God from his own understanding. (03:47) Why there's so much evil in the world despite 85% of humanity believing in a higher power. (06:55) Stepping into your purpose by abandoning survival as a fundamental instinct. (12:03) Having cautious optimism that humanity will wake up and strive to be better. (17:27) The Tripple Whammy - How loss and pain initiated his journey to spiritual awakening. (21:32) How his conversations with God became a best-selling book with 15 million copies sold in 37 languages. (30:13) A common frustration that affects all of us. (34:54) Understanding why God is pure love and how we can love others unconditionally. (37:06) Continuously helping people become better versions of themselves. (48:20) Living in line with the agenda of your soul. Embody Your Deepest Purpose By Healing Your Deepest Wounds | Ishita Sharma
#229 In this episode, I had the immense privilege of chatting with Ishita Sharma. It's difficult to put into words what she does for people. She is a modern mystic, holding space for life in all of its abundant complexity, from the highest joys and miracles to the deepest suffering and sorrows. She was born in Haridwar, India, and grew up in the Garhwal Himalayas. Eventually, she came to the US to study as a physicist, but turned to architecture and design practice, evolving into a multidisciplinary artist working with paint and sculpture. Through it all, she felt that she was looking for an even deeper framework to explain what felt obvious to her: that we are all connected. Today, Ishita works with contemporary visionaries and spiritual seekers to create futures that are free of past limitations. After coming into a profound shift in her consciousness, Ishita recognized that the answer she was seeking wasn't out there, waiting to be discovered in some corner of the world. It lies inside each and every one of us. We are all already whole. Tune in as we explore the mechanics of anchoring into presence and noticing our habits of attention to become more skilled at navigating our relationship with ourselves, others, and nature. About Ishita Sharma: Ishita Sharma serves as a mentor, mirror and activator to those who wish to better our world, starting within. Ishita has guided leaders from Google, Harvard, MIT, Silicon Valley startups and global multinationals. Clients come to her to grow and heal through their deepest challenges and longings while held in their perfect wholeness. Her students and clients include spiritual seekers and teachers, CEOs and scientists, therapists and coaches, visionaries and artists, parents and children, spouses and colleagues…She points every one of them back to their center. Drawing on a unique ability to attune to her clients' nervous systems, Ishita guides confusion into clarity and felt-sense safety. Her incisive approach is grounded in spacious loving connection. It integrates non-dual awareness with embodiment, subtle energetics and relational dynamics to free the core of personal and systemic hindrances. Contending that the future of humanity hinges upon healing division within and between us, she supports individuals and groups alike to wake up, step up and show up together in service of a world that truly nourishes us all. Born in the foothills of the Indian Himalayas, now living in North Carolina with her American husband, Ishita draws on the confluence of cultures, paradigms and dimensions- marrying western intellect and eastern spirituality through the wisdom of the human heart and body. Giving back lies at the heart of Come to Center. Finding A Deeper Meaning To Life | Guy Lawrence & Matt Omo
#228 What are you searching for in your life? If it's lasting growth and transformation, a deeper connection to yourself, loved ones or your purpose and direction in life, where or how do you find that? We are living in times where many people feel like there is something missing from their lives, but they are not sure what that is. They feel a sense of being divided, exhausted, confused and unsure where to turn. When we search online, we are bombarded with messages that tell us that happiness and contentment are just a few clicks away. Inevitably after clicking and searching we can end up more confused, more isolated and separate, disconnected from ourselves and our loved ones. Let's get real. A new year, a new job, a new adventure or a new church is not going to heal the separation, discontentment and loneliness. Neither, will any one spiritual retreat give you a magical transformation. I just said that. So, tune in as Matt Omo and I discuss why no one retreat, or vacation, or jungle medicine journey is going to fix the emptiness you may be feeling today. There is no magic wand. It takes hard work. It begins with getting real with yourself, being able to own all of the disconnection that you feel and the emptiness and loss that accumulated over your lifetime. Until you can own it, you can't heal it. If you don't heal it, you can't authentically connect with your friends, family, loved ones, and your purpose. That sounds like work and feeling uncomfortable. Who wants to do that? I hope you're raising your hand. Enjoy our conversation and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. About Matt Omo: Matt Omo is a leader of the sound healing movement in Australia with over 15 years of experience working with a variety of sound healing techniques bridging cultures and traditions from around the world. The work and awareness around sound healing and its benefits are growing every day. Matt is developing new programs and products to meet this need and continue to support people in discovering the benefits of the healing power of sound. Key Points Discussed: Finding A Deeper Meaning To Life (00:00) Struggling with the lack of purpose and meaning. (01:01) Dropping the anchors in your life to sail towards your true self. How Yoga Helped Me Overcome Injuries, Depression & Anxiety | Karl Palin
#227 People often think about wellness in terms of physical health - Nutrition, exercise, weight management, etc., but it is so much more. Wellness is a holistic integration of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, fueling the body, engaging the mind, and nurturing the spirit. Although it always includes striving for health, it's more about living life fully. It's a lifestyle and a personalized approach to living life in a way that allows you to become the best kind of person that your potentials, circumstances, and fate allow. In this episode, I'll have a candid chat with yoga teacher and owner/founder of One Big Heart, Karl Palin, about how yoga enables people of all ages, both male and female, to achieve overall wellness. Karl was diagnosed with depression in his teens and put on medications that made his health worse. That compounded his negative beliefs and for many years he thought he needed to be physicall fit to be acceptable. It continued into his adulthood and from the age of 19 he was obsessed with fitness. Eventually, it broke him phsycially, mentally, and spiritually, and led him into alcoholism and drug abuse. Becoming A Modern Mystic & Complete Surrender | Michael Sandler 2nd Interview
#226 Wanting to have control over your life is a perfectly normal human desire, but it's not always helpful or healthy. Sure, it's okay to set up your life in a way that allows you to conquer the chaos: create a schedule, set deadlines, hold yourself accountable, and learn to control your thoughts so that they don't control you. When we're attached to outcomes in our lives, it quickly leads to suffering and pain. We are co-creators of our lives, but we can't control what happens. Truth is, it's really not up to us to figure out. Once we can detach from trying to control and plan life, we're no longer blocked, but instead, open to receive life's magical moments. Take a moment to remember a time when you felt blissful, in the flow or you were manifesting things you wanted. You were most likely in a space of detachment and not focused on trying to control any one thing, therefore open to receive new possibilities. This state of being is trust and surrender in the purest form. And in this episode, I'll welcome back best-selling author, speaker, entrepreneur, and the co-host of the popular Inspire Nation show, Michael Sandler, to discuss that and dive into so many more beautiful things like really leaning into desire, trust and surrender, and how things absolutely always work out - even if we have no idea in the moment how that's going to happen. Join us and by the end you'll definitely have a lot to work with if you're looking to shift towards a better version of yourself. About Michael Sandler: Michael Sandler is the co-host of the popular Inspire Nation Show, a transformational, self-help, spiritually focused podcast and YouTube channel, along with his wife, fellow coach, and teacher, Jessica Lee. He is a best-selling author, speaker, entrepreneur, visionary, coach, and the co-creator of Inspire Nation University and the Automatic Writing Experience online course. Having been a world-class athlete and coach, competing at the international level in cycling, along with being a competitive speed skater, Ironman triathlete, and runner, Michael has applied those same training skills to being a life coach to teachers, leaders, and visionaries. He is a life-long meditation practitioner and meditation teacher. Two near-death accidents led to the conception of the Inspire Nation show, the creation of the Automatic Writing Experience, and the writing of this book. These devastating accidents led Michael to a much deeper understanding about the world, of Spirit, and of our connection to something greater than ourselves. He calls this "getting the big picture" and from that this book emerged. Once driven purely by performance and results as an endurance athlete, Michael survived the near-fatal accidents that cracked his heart open and helped him discover a kinder, gentler way of moving through life, one that arguably makes an even greater impact on others and the planet. That's what he calls being an open-hearted warrior, and to his mission to elevate consciousness, shift humanity, and help people truly discover their greatest self. Despite twin titanium femurs and hips, as a result of the accidents, he continues to run, skate, bike, and play in the mountains or explore the world with Jessica, their daughter Hana, three kitty cats, along with Roo Roo the Wonder Rooster, always in prayer, always connected to Spirit. Key Points Discussed: Becoming A Modern Mystic & Complete Surrender (00:00) Inspired by a near death experience and having to check his ego to thrive in helping others (00:45) The power of complete surrender in every area of your life and career/business (04:56) How speaking to the Akashic masters (The Librarians of the Universe) through automatic writing revealed to him who he would be (06:41) Why men should feel confident in embracing their feminine energy (10:05) Getting to the next level of your life by heeding a higher calling (16:41) Working on going into your heart side energy and how it will change your life (24:50) Understanding what being a mystic is like (30:17) Embracing the challenges we face so we can learn and grow from them and evolve ourselves from a soul level (34:58) The importance of being conscious of the emotions we take in and give out (41:34) Guidance on how you as an empath can maintain boundaries (45:38) Who would you be if you didn't have the fear that was holding you back?
