She was born in Haridwar, India, and grew up in the Garhwal Himalayas. Eventually, she came to the US to study as a physicist, but turned to architecture and design practice, evolving into a multidisciplinary artist working with paint and sculpture. Through it all, she felt that she was looking for an even deeper framework to explain what felt obvious to her: that we are all connected. Today, Ishita works with contemporary visionaries and spiritual seekers to create futures that are free of past limitations.
