Per Sjofors - “The Price Whisperer” on How to Increase & Defend Prices, Doing Pricing Research & More!
Today we are joined by Per "The Price Whisperer" Sjofors. I think as businesses we can all agree that pricing is one of those things that can make or break your business. If you don't price yourself right, it could lead to all sorts of problems. Per is THE pricing expert and it was a real pleasure talking with him!
We start, of course, by diving into his story. He's helped build or grow multi-million dollar companies before doing what he does today helping businesses with their pricing strategy. Through it all, his CEO journey, he always was fascinated by pricing and the impact it has. In fact, he had developed a formula years ago and thought he had it figured out. Today, he admits that formula did not work.
Today he has new ways of developing a businesses pricing strategy including using an AI system he built to help crunch the numbers. He shares real stories and examples from the trenches (which we love!). Learn the power of increasing prices and how it can help select your best customers. Learn how to defend those decisions to your paying customers or clients.
Learn what willingness to pay research and how people equate value to price. And finally I asked the question, how does a small business figure out how to price their products or services? What methods can be used? Great stuff! Important topic for all of us.. enjoy!

Bob Hunter - You Got a Business Loan.. The Right Way to Spend it On Staffing. Hiring Offshore.
Bob Hunter is back! 2nd episode with Bob was just as awesome as the first. We start off by touching base on his quest to be a guest on a 100 podcasts. This was his 14th .. so we've contributed twice to this endeavor! And I asked him what his biggest lesson or takeaway was so far and you'll love his answer!
From there we did a bit of a recap of what he does and the subjects we covered in the previous episode. And then we land on the core of todays topic when I posed the question, "What do you do with the funds after you have them or what should they be used for?" Because getting a loan to just get a loan is not the answer. You want to make sure those funds are contributing to your business in some way, shape or form.
But interestingly, the conversation landed on a topic that we weren't even planning before we talked that day. We talked about using those funds for staffing and hiring people. But it got way deeper. Turns out Bob also built and owns a staffing business! He built something so he could staff his own business and then decided to do that for others! (love that) And his whole thing is something that I do myself and that's hiring offshore from places like Philippines, India, Pakistan, Ukraine and beyond.
So if you enjoyed our first episode or are interested in finding new and better ways to find good people to expand your teams and business, this episode is DEFINITELY for you. Enjoy!

Unified Toolkit for WordPress launched! The Vision, The Journey & What’s Next!
In this solo episode I talk about the launch of Unified Toolkit. A WordPress framework to build custom themes and websites. This is something I've been dreaming about for over 2 and a half years. Step by step while building my agency I developed the plan and products. Today it consists of a WordPress Full-site Editing block theme and 3 plugins. But there's much more to come.
In 2023 and beyond we'll be adding more features, plugins and more related to the theme. I'll personally be creating more training to help build sites, but also to help freelancers and agencies use our toolkit to go out and sell.
This is part of the grand vision. Our agency will use the toolkit and we'll be using the toolkit to go after new markets. I land towards the end of this episode and talk about 'what's next'. Touching on where we are with the agency too.. adding our 6th full-time person to the team!

Applying “Quality Assurance” When Delivering Services - Web Development & Design Teams
In this solo episode I talk about something that incredibly important in my agency and with my team - quality assurance. As always, I speak to it from the trenches. This is how I think about it and how our team applies it daily to ensure everyone involved in a project has less stress.
Our first stop is 'Why it Exists' in the first place. Why is it so important to make sure you have good processes in place and 'buy in' from everyone involved in a project? What influences how it's applied? And what is the impact if it's not applied? I also break down from a web design and development perspective how our team as a whole approaches it. Who get's involved and what does it look like?
I discuss specific examples which include projects we've applied it to in the realm of web development and on the design side. Also, I explain how user testing in general is also part of the process and the importance of the all important retrospective. Enjoy the episode!

Client Retention - 9 Areas You Need to Pay Attention to.. Including Controlling Growth!
In this solo episode I talk to a topic that is near and dear to my businesses heart. Retention. I then land on something that is something I’ve been grappling with myself this past year. How do you grow your company and still retain those precious clients/customers? Here I too share my experience and the things I’ve been putting in place to ensure we don’t slip in this area. Enjoy the episode!
