Episode 136 - Jason Gregor
Everyone who knew who Jason Gregor was, was excited to hear he'd be on The Lifestyle Chase. If that doesn't introduce him properly to new people I don't know what will. At his core he cares deeply. He's a very empathetic thoughtful person who has chosen a career he was passionate about because of how it feels to connect with something that means something. He's a past Top 40 Under 40 Nominee, he gives back to the community thoughtfully and generously both through how he uses his platform but also in how he leads his life. We were able to talk about his career journey, and his general attitude towards life. He's not one to really let an obstacle get in his way. He's also a very dedicated farmer which can be character building for anyone. Whether you know him through the sports world, or you're hearing about him for the first time, go listen to this episode. Thank you for supporting The Lifestyle Chase. If you enjoyed this episode, you might be interested in listening to a couple of my past episodes featuring former and current professional athletes. The guest list is unpredictable but I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for listening. Get full access to Insight by Chris Liddle at chrisliddle.substack.com/subscribe

Episode 135 - Harold Kaufman-Gibbons and Lucy Hendricks
This episode features Harold Kaufman-Gibbons and Lucy Hendricks. We had an unconventional icebreaker at the start of the episode to help familiarize the audience, and then dove into quite a few topics. We discussed the importance of having people to lean on and the ability to be yourself in the fitness industry. We talked about Harold's experiences at MFF and his entry into the industry. We talked about some of Lucy's life experiences and how they shaped how she shows up in the world. We talked about the value of Lucy's Mindful Movement. There was discussion about how fitness can often be inaccessible either because people can't see someone like them doing it, or because what it seems like they should be doing is out of their budget. We talked about how meaningful it can be to learn from people of all different backgrounds and the impact that can have on a person's life. There were a lot of topics covered, I hope you check it out, share it with a friend, and rate it on Apple Podcasts. Thanks for supporting The Lifestyle Chase! Episode 133 - Mark Zarate on Struggle and Love
Mark Zarate (@zaratefitness) returns to The Lifestyle Chase for his second full length episode. The first time he was on the show was Episode 74, recorded on October 19, 2019. We did a double header for this episode so I made a recent appearance on his show, Cool, Calm, & Chaotic which I highly recommend. Be sure to check out Mark and what he's all about because he's always a person who knows what to say to cheer a person up. Enjoy this episode as we talk about struggles in life and loving our people. Episode 132 - Jasmyn Ellis
Jasmyn @jasmynellis is a pro in the PR world and a presence in any room. Today we talked about life in Edmonton, Toronto and Vancouver. We talked about her being able to feel like herself, the best version. We talked about going after things that your gut is saying to go after and not wasting too much time thinking about it. It's important to have that ability to show up to all of your connections feeling empowered. In any connection, it works two ways, your words, your actions, and your emotions you share. We talked about what life was like as the daughter of a professional athlete growing up as a black girl in a white community. We talked about the clarity she found on a spin bike and how much she wanted everyone else to be able to get that as well. We talked about her purpose for being someone who ensures that there IS diversity in this world. We talked about how living by yourself in the middle of a pandemic is REALLY hard. There was a lot of real talk in this episode, plenty of happy moments and tonnes of learning. I hope you enjoy this one! Episode 131 - Neville Wright
Neville Wright is an Olympian, a National Champion, a Role Model, a Dad, a Performance Therapist, and a Public Speaker. We talked about life, and what shaped him into the athlete he became. How leaning into seeing the positives in life and focusing on athletics enabled him to focus his energy on things that would help him rather than things that might hurt him. Neville shared with me how he had to take a break from training, how he had a coach that believed in him and how he sees so much potential in kids. He's a great guy to talk to about resilience because he knows all about overcoming and rising to the challenge. I hope you enjoy this episode! We talk about her 5 favorite people (among so many other people who are her favorite) and we talk about emotions. It's a pretty loaded episode that jumps from music, to how she met her husband, to her high school experience to gardening but we were able to discuss a lot of meaningful things and she gives advice to her 15 year old self. I really hope you get a chance to go check out her podcast after you listen to her episode here. Thanks for listening! Episode 129 - Calvin Martin
Calvin Martin (@calvinjmartin) is half of @stepbrothersnyc which is a collaboration between him and @thelifestylechase alumni, @bryanbaia . I think this is the most I've ever laughed in recording an episode of The Lifestyle Chase. We talked about Calvin's start into the industry and he opened up about some really tough moments in his life. We can expect to face difficulty but it's what we do afterward that makes up the biggest moments in our life. Calvin talked about his passion for working with youth, the future of tomorrow, and where that stemmed from. We talked about how important it is to be yourself, and be genuine with social media solidarity. We have to be ready to stand up for and with our brothers and sisters for the next 20 000 days or so, so how does that look for you?It goes without saying that we talked about things here and now, #blacklivesmatter, #COVID19, and all of the things that have made 2020 what it is. However, if you find this podcast in 2020, I think it will leave you with plenty of takeaways. Did you plan that hike in your week, or did it take a pandemic for the hike to happen. Are we telling our people that we love them and really soaking in the time that we get with them, or are we waiting for a pandemic to happen. This episode is a must-listen, and I know that seems kind of biased because it's me (Chris Liddle) typing it out and of course I want you to listen, but I think you should go listen regardless. Thanks for supporting The Lifestyle Chase, go check out my episode with Bryan, and then skim through the past guests because I can almost guarantee you'll know someone else or have something to learn from one of the many many past guests. Episode 128 - Semaj Hunter
In this episode, Semaj talks about his experiences in following his passion. He loves connecting with people, which is a big part of what makes the fitness industry so rewarding for him. He's accomplished quite a bit in his career so far and been in a lot of different environments. There have been many opportunities where he's needed to do be two feet in and make the most of the opportunities that life presents. We talked about travel, how he met his wife, and how COVID-19 has changed him. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it. Go check it out. You'll likely see lots of familiar names in past episodes of The Lifestyle Chase. Go check them out too. Get full access to Insight by Chris Liddle at chrisliddle.substack.com/subscribe

Episode 127 - Isatu Fofanah
Imagine you're a little kid, and you're born amidst a civil war in Sierra Leone. All you want to do, is be a kid, go to school, have fun, get good grades and live your life. Sometimes life just doesn't work that way. That's what we're here to hear about. It's that simple desire to live a happy life that eventually brought Isatu Fofanah to Canada. Isatu is a laser focused individual who has enjoyed being athletic from a young age. There is no doubt to grow up in Ponoka, AB would be out of her comfort zone coming from Sierra Leone, so she had to make some serious adaptations. It seems after all these years she's still not much of a fan of our climate or our snow. But despite everything that might seem like a major obstacle to someone like me, she rose to become a track star with a scholarship in the states and represented Canada on the global stage in track until she eventually had to retire due to injuries. However, that doesn't mean that chasing after goals is over for her. She finds a great purpose in training people and finding their greatest potential and she has big goals for the future. Go learn about Ice, find out what makes her who she is. Thanks for supporting The Lifestyle Chase! Get full access to Insight by Chris Liddle at chrisliddle.substack.com/subscribe
