Want More Success For Your Microgym? Get More Industry Perspective.

You work hard, but you're probably not working smart. At least not as smart as you could if you had a better understanding as to how businesses like yours (but slightly different) within the fitness industry operate. I'm 100% that most of my success in this industry came from NOT standing still. Not staying within my four walls. Actually going out there and learning what other brands/models were doing - not because it's how I wanted to operate, but because I knew that knowledge would make me a better owner. So do yourself and your business a favor...GROW your perspective on the industry and you'll GROW your business.

The Peloton of Functional Fitness Is Coming With ATOM

Do you know the popular jump rope brand, RPM? Two brothers (Shane + Josh Rogers), who got started with CrossFit back in the OG days (PRE-Bok) and even owned an affiliate until recently, have exploded in the functional fitness market with their premium RPM jump ropes. However, they had large plans to create a remote community and improve the at-home fitness model by combining equipment kits with amazing digital workouts.  And this project is called ATOM...and it's coming soon.   You should pay attention and consider if this is something you'd want to offer your membership. https://rpmtraining.com/pages/atom

Success In The Fitness Industry WITHOUT Owning A Microgym

Justin McClintock is a city-dwelling Philly guy who walks over a mile to Subversus Fitness where he is NOT the owner...he's the Director of Programming and a Senior Coach. He coaches a very small amount of classes monthly and when he's not performing his duties for Subversus, he's cranking out content for his online programming business FEEL STRONG FITNESS.  Justin and I jam on what it looks like to generate a desirable income in this industry without the headaches of actually owning the brick + mortar business, creating content for your own business while working in another and more. Enjoy.

Shoot The Shit | Street Parking

This is the 6th episode of Shoot The Shit, my long-form conversations with individuals in the fitness industry who are doing awesome things...and with this episode, I flew out to Vancouver, WA to hang out with the founders of Street Parking - Miranda + Julian Alcarez.    Miranda + Julian both have accomplished careers in the sport of fitness and coaching, but their current passion and extremely successful business has been to create an online fitness community by delivering at-home workouts...PRE-COVID.   Their pioneer efforts kicked off in 2016 when they launched Street Parking.   Within one month, they had 700 subscribers to their flavor of residential functional fitness.   Since then they have never had a down month, continuously growing and currently sitting at over 35,000 subscribers - a whole army of humans who turned their garages, livings rooms, backyards, and more into a spot to get in a quick and efficient workout.   We get into all the good stuff about their business model, their personal relationship and running a business as a married couple, and more.    Ladies and Gentlemen, Miranda & Julian Alcarez.   IG @streetparking www.streetparking.com
