Best Hour Of Their Day, Selling Your Gym and PT First with Jason Ackerman
Jason Ackerman has been in the CrossFit scene for a long time and currently co-hosts The Best Hour Of Their Day podcast with Jason Fernandez. We frequent each other's shows at least once a year and it was great to catch up with Jason and talk about some of our differences of opinions and common thoughts regarding the microgym industry.

Disrupting The PT Industry + Creating A License Model With Onward Physical Therapy
I've had the pleasure of knowing the two of the co-founders in Onward Physical Therapy for several years now - @thebarbellphysio Zach Long and Jordan Berry @jordanberrydpt.
Both are certified DPTs and have created an amazing license model for physical therapists who want to get out of the rat race that the status-quo clinics have created.
And not only do I know them as business colleagues in Charlotte, NC....but I'm also a client. And I can personally attest to the brand and client experience they've created and are continuing to grow across the country.
Enjoy.

Talking Fitness Content Creation With Forrest Jung
Almost a year ago, I had Forrest Jung on the podcast to discuss the highs and lows of owning a microgym.
We touched upon his recent toe-dip into the TikTok waters, but we left it at that.
Fast forward one year and he has gone all-in on TikTok and IG, amassing over 100k combined followers.
This has now created a very cool opportunity where he can create additional revenue streams that still revolve around his favorite subject - fitness.
Check him out @iknowforrest on both IG and TikTok

Alex Hormozi Isn't Wrong About This One...
Someone recently shared a podcast done by Alex Hormozi, founder of Gym Launch and an infamous character in the microgym marketing space.
I've had Alex on the podcast before and regardless of how you feel about his business methods, 6-week challenges, etc...You can't deny the elite business acumen this individual possesses.
Additionally, he also has some pretty incredible EQ (emotional intelligence) regarding relationships that I tend to agree with...

Hotel Room Chat With MADabolic
I was writing up an article for my re-vamped newsletter, WTF Weekly, on what I consider to be the dark horse of the fitness franchise scene: MADabolic.
So I dialed up my buddies Brandon Cullen and Kirk DeWaele (co-owners) and jammed on the rapid growth they've experienced in the past 18 months (adding 49 locations!), the struggles they've faced and why exactly do they think it is that most people in our industry have still never heard of them?
If you're not subscribed to WTF Weekly - get to it.

Want More Success For Your Microgym? Get More Industry Perspective.
You work hard, but you're probably not working smart.
At least not as smart as you could if you had a better understanding as to how businesses like yours (but slightly different) within the fitness industry operate.
I'm 100% that most of my success in this industry came from NOT standing still.
Not staying within my four walls.
Actually going out there and learning what other brands/models were doing - not because it's how I wanted to operate, but because I knew that knowledge would make me a better owner.
So do yourself and your business a favor...GROW your perspective on the industry and you'll GROW your business.

The Peloton of Functional Fitness Is Coming With ATOM
Do you know the popular jump rope brand, RPM?
Two brothers (Shane + Josh Rogers), who got started with CrossFit back in the OG days (PRE-Bok) and even owned an affiliate until recently, have exploded in the functional fitness market with their premium RPM jump ropes.
However, they had large plans to create a remote community and improve the at-home fitness model by combining equipment kits with amazing digital workouts.
And this project is called ATOM...and it's coming soon. You should pay attention and consider if this is something you'd want to offer your membership.

Success In The Fitness Industry WITHOUT Owning A Microgym
Justin McClintock is a city-dwelling Philly guy who walks over a mile to Subversus Fitness where he is NOT the owner...he's the Director of Programming and a Senior Coach.
He coaches a very small amount of classes monthly and when he's not performing his duties for Subversus, he's cranking out content for his online programming business FEEL STRONG FITNESS.
Justin and I jam on what it looks like to generate a desirable income in this industry without the headaches of actually owning the brick + mortar business, creating content for your own business while working in another and more.
Enjoy.
