Shoot The Shit | Street Parking
This is the 6th episode of Shoot The Shit, my long-form conversations with individuals in the fitness industry who are doing awesome things...and with this episode, I flew out to Vancouver, WA to hang out with the founders of Street Parking - Miranda + Julian Alcarez.
Miranda + Julian both have accomplished careers in the sport of fitness and coaching, but their current passion and extremely successful business has been to create an online fitness community by delivering at-home workouts...PRE-COVID. Their pioneer efforts kicked off in 2016 when they launched Street Parking.
Within one month, they had 700 subscribers to their flavor of residential functional fitness. Since then they have never had a down month, continuously growing and currently sitting at over 35,000 subscribers - a whole army of humans who turned their garages, livings rooms, backyards, and more into a spot to get in a quick and efficient workout. We get into all the good stuff about their business model, their personal relationship and running a business as a married couple, and more.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Miranda & Julian Alcarez.

However, that doesn't need to be the case.
In this longer monologue podcast I discuss how I view achieving wealth through your microgym and how you can start taking action today to get on a proper wealth strategy plan.

Bringing Operational Capacity To Cable Machines with Isaac Lewis & Ancore
Prior to 2020, I had been pushing for more equipment manufacturers to take a more minimalist approach in their gear.
It saves gym owners money and increases their operational capacity.
While most of my requests went unnoticed, the truth of 2020 and the pandemic has forced equipment engineering to completely re-think their strategy and has allowed some newer players into the market that are bring some exciting products with them.
In that cohort, is Isaac Lewis, the co-founder of Ancore - an awesome cable pully system that can attach to any rig, column, wall, etc.
If you've been interested in creating some differentiation amongst your training, you'll def. want to check out their product.
