S3 Ep87: Testosterone: The Low Down on Low Levels For Men

On this week’s episode James flies solo as he talks to Ross Tomkins of Alphagenix about the role for testosterone replacement therapy for men facing the andropause. As men age natural levels of testosterone drop steadily year by year, and by the time a man is in his late 30s, 40s or 50s, his testosterone levels could be 30 to 50% lower than they were in his 20s.That can mean loss of muscle, loss of strength, energy, confidence, increased weight gain, brain fog, falling motivation, and loss of libido. While lifestyle factors can play a part in helping keep natural hormone levels elevated, if testosterone is already low, then TRT may be an option to alleviate the symptoms and improve quality of life.Find out more about the andropause, TRT and Ross’s own journey as we chat all things testosterone.
