alongside our biggest announcement yet (wait until the end), the village sits down for a conversation on restoring life, breath, and vitality to the breasts. we talk about the compression and degeneration of the fascia that begins with the first restrictive bra, reframe what it looks like to show our sons & daughters what embodiment could look like, & integrate the importance (once again) of nude sunbathing. we also have a juicy convo about all the common “symptoms” that might come up on a breastfeeding journey & talk about bioenergetics and secondary gains // mastitis, clogged ducts, a “slacker” boob, engorgement, low milk supply– what is REALLY happening here? michale, molly, & kori share the masculine role of protecting & preserving the female body and share more about kyle’s experience with this in kori’s family. take a seat with us for this final living room episode of our podcast & get your boobs in the sun! it's not too late | mirroring, 7 year cycles, & childhood development
this is one for the common question that comes through from our course communities: what if my child is already over the age of 7? in season 01, we recorded an episode on mirroring where we explored the biologic imprinting that happens during those early, formative years. this conversation serves as a follow-up, speaking directly to mothers who feel they may have “missed the window.” we dive into how airway health, behavior, & movement reflect the environment, and how mothers’ narratives—like “it’s too late”—become blocks to their own resourcing. we explore why this space particularly is where we see mother’s lock in their outsourcing victimhood trajectory. we take a look at developmental glitches as we grow into adolescence, the energy system requirements for creating space, the imprinting of shadow & challenge onto children through the mother’s comfort (or discomfort) with life. we question the outsourcing culture of “fixing problems” through quick interventions, instead offering the invitation for mothers to resource themselves first. for mothers of older children, this episode is a reminder that initiations & rites of passage are still available, always. this is the opportunity to reclaim responsibility, rewrite patterns, become aware of your environmental mismatches and hold the frame for yourself & your family. sunlight in context | sunscreen, sunburns, & seed oils
in this episode of the village sessions, we track the history of the human’s relationship with the sun & its cultural implications—how ancient peoples oriented their lives around it & ultimately how modern society has been scared out of utilizing it. we explore sunlight as a process of self-calibration, a restorative metric that sets the foundation for health, energy & (all kinds of) development. we look at the history of sunscreen & the rise of fear around sun exposure, contrasting that with what science shows about PUFAs, sunburns, the energetics of burning. we touch on how the body actually builds resilience through intentional timing. this conversation highlights the power of orienting your life outdoors—letting light shape you, your biology & the ecology of your family. take a seat with us as we reframe the sun from being a threat, to one of our most essential allies. swaddles, shoes, & shirts | how modern living is shaping our babies
this episode of the village sessions podcast opens up season 3! we catch-up on what’s been happening during our summer break & then deep dive into the unconscious programming that shapes how we live as a society—and how we are with our babies. we explore the “protective c- shape hold” often seen in infants as a reflection of a sympathetic-dominant nervous system, and how this mirrors the state of the mother & her environment. we look back at what the industrial era ushered in—modern ways of living that pulled us further from our ancestral imprint—and how ancient cultures, over time, became “civilized” into disconnecting from their original ways of living (what we now consider resourcing). we expand on today’s “protection” programming, the way movement becomes one of the most heavily imprinted patterns in our bodies, & what happens when mothers consciously embody their movement. through the lens of bowspring, we discuss becoming aware of how you show up in the world. we also highlight the unique opportunity for grandparents to reclaim vitality & quality of life when children show them the way. this conversation is about the unfurling—of infants, of mothers, & of families—through awareness, embodied living, & the restoration of our natural design. join us for an endless summer vibe & the start of another podcast season. surprise — we’ve also created a behind-the-scenes, stripped down version of our podcast called KITCHEN SESSIONS | join to dive deeper and linger longer with us. get connected & begin your experience // OUR WEST COAST SESSIONS LIVE SHOW (only a few tickets left) — THE VESSEL — enrolling for the month of august. link to apply– s://vessevillage.typeform.com/summerapp25 YOUR MOTHER’S MONEY STORY — dropping august 15th. included in the vessel village virtual community or purchase a la carte here– s://vessevillage.typeform.com/summerapp25 follow us on instagram join rooted families join our pregnancy + birth course the village birth apply for true north

the relationship between creativity, symptoms, & capacity
it is the season 2 finale of the village sessions! we are moving into another off-season while michale & molly launch the vessel, kori gives birth to her third child, we release our official trademarked resourced + rooted method into our village birth course, and we update all of our offerings this summer with more content, webinars, and more! to kick off the spring season, we take a deep dive into the requirements of creativity in a woman. women are creational beings. it’s in our physiological blueprint to create. we are always creating, as michale likes to say, so are we creating beauty in the world, or are we creating chaos & drama? while michale was recently reading one of richard bandler’s books, we took this a step further and started marinating on the idea that maybe symptoms as a whole are one giant creative block… and how maybe mothers who are cycling through symptom loops in their kids need more energy to see more options to end the cycle. what if mothers are creating “jobs” for themselves through symptomatic children, whereas maybe that creative energy wants to be used to create something else? join us for this episode where we lay out the foundational requirements for creativity– including knowing who you are, what you uniquely bring to the world, and the capacity to bravely step into that role. we talk about how low capacity & a low developmental age show up as mimicry, parroting, and playing it safe in life. the responsibility to step into your purpose in life is not just for you, but your entire village is waiting for it too. you’ll want to sit down for this one! take a seat with us or tune into the youtube version of the episode here! purchase your pair of ra optics with the code VILLAGE get connected & begin your experience // sign up for a bowspring class follow us on instagram read more of michale’s story receive updates from the upcoming vessel launch join rooted families join our pregnancy + birth course the village birth apply for true north

rethinking orthodontics
in this episode of the village sessions, we take a fresh look at the world of cranio-facial growth & development, an industry that has parents tail-spinning. michale, kori, & molly unpack what’s often missing from mainstream orthodontic narratives, offering a deeper, wider perspective on how space is truly created in the body—not just in the bone, but in the energy & ecology of the family system. michale shares her first-hand experience navigating cranio-facial development—not only through her own story & her children’s journeys but also through years of running a dental practice alongside her husband at the time. we explore the western model of growth & expansion — questioning today’s reductionist & common beliefs about what actually influences bone structure, airway health & development. we explore how the mother’s energy & belief systems shape a child’s world (nervous system, beliefs, symptoms, energy field) & why, if we don’t have the energy to create new patterns, we WILL unconsciously fall back into familiar ones. we touch on family beds & “voltage.” and in true villager fashion, we dive into the critical role of a well-resourced mother in sustaining long-term transformation. ultimately, this episode is an invitation for moms to address these patterns within themselves first, before searching for the right person or appliance to outsource with. wooo! sit down for this hot take. it’s a good one. take a seat with us or tune into the youtube version of the episode here! get connected & begin your experience // sign up for a bowspring class follow us on instagram read more of michale’s story receive updates from the upcoming vessel launch join rooted families join our pregnancy + birth course the village birth apply for true north
