61 | Why Awareness is the First Step to Change and How to Use It

Awareness is defined as the knowledge or perception of a situation or fact.  In this simple definition lies the key to all transformation and change. How? Simply because of this: In order to change something, a habit, an attitude, a situation, etc, you need to CHOOSE differently. In order to CHOOSE differently, you need to be aware of the current choice you are making and aware of the ability you have to change that choice. In the absence of awareness of our thoughts, emotions, habits, patterns, and actions, we will continue to be dominated by the rhythm and cadence of our life as if on autopilot. In this episode, Chris walks you through how to get under the hood of your perceptions and shine the light of awareness on them so you can make better choices.  Awareness breeds Choice. The more awareness you have in your life, the more opportunity you have to break out of the patterns, and choose differently.
