006 - How to find 2 Extra Hours a Day

Ever wonder how to fit in all the things because the day seems WAY to short or maybe you just have WAY to much to do? 005 - Lacking energy, time and focus? How to adjust when plans get derailed!

In this episode, I am going to chat about how to adjust when plans get derailed. Anyone else feel like they are running out of energy, time and focus? In a perfect world, I wish I could plan everything and know the exact outcome, but since you can’t, these are some techniques I use to pivot and adjust. If you are a high achiever, you probably juggle a lot of things during the day. And despite your best intentions you probably have days where you're going to feel burnt out or just plain unproductive. This can lead to beating yourself up, a self-destructive cycle and that further distracts you from what needs to be accomplished.  Before we get into my actual tips, I chat about a few things I do to make myself more aware of change and thinking about change. 003 - Restart your Routine - My Goal Setting Process

In this episode, we are going to chat about my approach to restart your routine and map out your goals. I am going to walk you through how to start out with your BIG goals and then break it down into monthly and daily. This way when you go to plan out your day, you know exactly what you need to focus on and why! You can download the template here!My “restart your routine” or “Be, Feel, Do, Have” approach is broken down into 5 steps. Think of it as baking a cake. I always used food references. Ha. You want to start the dream of making that amazing dessert or hosting that fun brunch and then get into the details of the how and why. And because sometimes cooking isn’t glamorous, you want to make sure you have that why defined so when your kitchen is a disaster you remember how fun it is to celebrate a birthday with your friends. Get it? 1) The first step in the process is a big brain dump as I call it. Take 5 minutes and think about one word that will represent you this year. Write it in big letters. Then take a few minutes to just doodle and think about your dreams. Just write down whatever comes to you. Be creative. 2) The 2nd step is to take those big picture thoughts and put them into actionable items.3) The 3rd step is the planning part. You have mapped out your big dream which should have been fun. And then really thought about how that is going to make you feel! I want you to set that list aside and now think about the next month ahead. By the time this airs it will be the end of March so I would recommend doing this for April. Look at April. List out 3-4 priorities based on the above activities. You don’t want to pick any more than that because then you will start get overwhelmed. 4) Take those activities and map out how long each one of them will take. And schedule it!As a reference, you will want to go back to listen to episode 2 of Crush the Rush where I talk about Time Blocking. If templates and lists overwhelm you. I know all of us don’t love them, I would encourage you to at least try to set aside some time each week before the week starts and pick 3 things to focus on. 002 - Using time blocking to do more with less!

In this episode, we are going to chat about your time blocking, specifically how to use time blocking to do more with less. Back in the day multi-tasking used to be all the rage, but now studies have proven that single-tasking is actually more efficient. So let’s chat about how to plan and block your day so you can be more productive and actually get stuff done! We will discuss why time blocking is important, how to time block and some of my top tips to be successful. I use my “Be, Feel, Do, Have” approach to map out my goals. It walks you through how to start out with your BIG goals and then break it down into monthly and daily. One of the steps is to look at your monthly goals (so as an example write 3 blog posts) and then map out how long you think that might take. So 1 hour, 2 hours etc. There is a little checkbox that says “scheduled” and the goal is once you schedule it into your weekly plan to go back and check it off. 001 - 7 Tips to Make your Morning Routine more Efficient

In this episode, we are going to chat about your daily routines. Specifically morning routines. And  7 tips to rock them. Whether you are an expert or just getting started. If you want the kind of routine that makes you feel accomplished, gives youtime to think about your goals, find some pockets of time for yourself ANDfeel excited about life, then keep reading.
